They lay in each other's arms, in silence. Lucius was slowly making small circles on Narcissa's bare back. Narcissa let him, as her mind was filled with a thousands of thoughts... She adored Lucius, yes, but this wasn't right, now was it?!

What did this all mean?! Lucius wanted her back, she could understand why and she was very tempted to restore their relationship to the way it was... However, was she ready for this?! Was she ready for all the attention he was going to get from other girls and from all the girls who would literally try to steal him away from her?!

More importantly, was he ready for it?!

Narcissa looked around the room, it was getting darker... The sun had already started to set outside... She was disturbed from her pensive mood by voices, the voices of their parents down the hallway. They were approaching...

Narcissa shot up, sitting upright as she tried to hear the voices better.

''I bet they ran off somewhere together, I'm telling you! There's no way to stop teenage love!'' she heard Mr. Malfoy say.

''We haven't seen Narcissa for a while... Going to the bathroom can't take this long, can it?!'' her mother sounded worried.

Narcissa's eyes nearly fell out of her head, they were looking for them! They were down the hall, moments away from this room! They would find them together! She turned to Lucius, the panic obvious in her eyes.

''We have to go!'' she whispered.

She jumped out of bed and frantically started to look for her clothes. She hopped around the room and was trying to put them on, whilst Lucius didn't budge at all!

''Lucius, get dressed!'' Narcissa hissed.

''Why? Let them see us together, Cissa... They saw us already'' Lucius shrugged.

''This is different, this can't be!'' she was tempted to pull him out of the bed and dress him herself!

She couldn't believe it! Could he at least cooperate for one tiny bit?! They would get caught in seconds!

''Why? I thought we'd settled this, just now?'' he whispered.

''Lucius, please! I need time and if this situation comes out, we don't have time!'' Please?!'' she pleaded again.

Narcissa saw his soften, she knew he was giving in...

''Stay here.'' he ordered.

Lucius quickly put his robes back on and pulled his pants up. In just a few big steps, he made it to the door.

He pulled it open.

Lucius stepped out in the hallway and practically walked into his parents. He swiftly pulled the door shut. The sound echoed through the big manor.

''Mother, Father...'' he greeted.

''Lucius! Where have you been?!What were you doing in there?!'' his mother exclaimed.

''I needed a moment of peace and quiet, Mother... You know how I hate these gathering with all these people here...'' Lucius lied.

'''My boy, have you seen Narcissa?'' ''We've been looking for her everywhere, you see...'' Mr. and Mrs. Black said.

''I'm afraid I have not, but I can help you looking! This manor has many rooms...'' Lucius guided them all into the other direction...

''You don't think she's hiding from you, do you?!'' Mrs. Black almost sounded alarmed.

All four of the parents wanted their children to be bound by marriage and by what they had seen earlier, they all thought it should work out soon enough...

''Who knows...'' Lucius replied.

They walked off...

Narcissa took this as the opportune moment to come out of the room and run. She quickly ran the other way and descended the stairs. Just before she got down, she caught Lucius eye. He was looking behind him, over his shoulder...

''I'll write to you...'' she whispered.

Narcissa knew he wasn't able to hear her at such distance, but she hoped that he had understood... She would spend the weeks that were left of the summer on thinking about this all and as soon as she had it figured out, she would write to him...

Once back downstairs, Narcissa nonchalantly walked back into the crowd... She walked around for a bit, making small talk with some of the guest... She looked around, trying to see if her parents were downstairs again already...

She couldn't believe she had just shared the bed again with Lucius Malfoy! She could still feel it! He could make her feel so special!

''Narcissa! There you are!'' she spun around.

Her parents stood right in front of her. Lucius and his parents were nowhere to be found, she was actually kind of glad about that...

''We're going home, sweetheart'' her father said.

''All right. You say goodbye to Mr. and Mrs. Malfoy and I'll get our cloaks...'' she didn't want to see the Malfoys right now...

''Don't you want to say goodbye to Young Mr. Malfoy?!'' her mother called after her as she left.

She pretended not to hear her mother as she ran off...

She hadn't written. She'd promised she'd write. She hadn't written a single letter. Lucius stood on the platform, looking out for her. He bloody well wanted an explanation from Narcissa Black!

This must be what it feels like, Lucius thought... For girls, waiting for boys to show up or give them a certain sign... Lucius almost felt bad for all the girls he had treated poorly in the past, but Malfoys did never regret anything!

Lucius watched all the faces pass by, but still no sign of the face with delicate features that he needed to see... No sign of her of her parents... Lucius sighed out of frustration and decided to just go aboard the train...

She would come.

Narcissa jumped on the platform, out of the wall. She was late. Nobody wanted to be late on their first day after the Summer, the start of a New Year...She rushed to the train and quickly got all her stuff in. Her parents waved their goodbye as she made it on the train, just in time...

She quickly walked through the train, trying to find her friends. Every time she saw a head with blonde hair, her heart would skip a beat... It wasn't him... She had thought a lot about Lucius during the weeks after the Malfoys their anniversary party, but she still hadn't wrapped her head around everything...

She had tried to write Lucius a couple of times, or at least she had started on it... 'Dear Lucius' was mostly the only thing she would write down... She was never sure what to tell him, she couldn't tell him what he wanted to hear anyway... Besides, Narcissa had told him she would write as soon as she had everything figured out and she still hadn't...

''Narcissa, can I talk to you?'' a familiar deep voice came from one of the compartments.

Narcissa Black was frozen to the spot.
