Dog Lover
Ch. 3 –Shock
"… No more Inus… onee-san… my aniki…" Kagome barely whispered as she collapsed.
Kiba couldn't believe what he'd heard. The girl he'd found outside the village's protected walls was a pure-blood. No one had seen one for centuries, yet here she was. How long had she been out there? His mother was thrilled to have a lady in the house. She immediately pushed to have the girl stay with them since Kiba had found her. His mother also immediately had a bed made for the girl... in his room. HIS room! Well… he might not mind sharing it with a woman… he thought to himself as he stared at the girl. After she passed out she was cleaned up and put to bed. But that was hours ago. Apparently he was supposed to comfort her if she woke up in tears, having just found out everyone she cared for had been dead a long time. So… how was it she was here? How could she not know about her own kind? He was probably lucky she didn't end up outside someone else's village and that Akamaru had been the one to find her. He could only imagine what would have happened if one of the older adult males had found her. They would've pushed to pup her immediately. She'd be sought after by the others anyway, but at least with him she'd have some time to adjust. He wasn't pushy like Naruto and Sasuke. He enjoyed the hunt too much to rush it. Just like his mother predicted, the woman woke up in tears. She sat up with her face in her hands as he could tell she was forcing herself to be relatively quiet. When she started shaking he couldn't control himself and shuffled over slowly, so as not to startle her. He carefully wrapped his arms around her and pulled her into his lap, her head propped up on his shoulder. And then he did something he had never done in his entire life… he started to purr.
