They met again across the net. Inui tightened his grip on his racket. He had just had a match with Tezuka the previous weekend. He knew he had improved.
Tezuka nodded. And the match begun. Inui was so concentrated on the match that he didn't realize what was happening. He thought he could win but then…Tezuka revealed his Tezuka Zone and Zero Shiki drop shot. The sheer skill was such that Inui accepted his loss with grace.
"Good game," Tezuka told him over the net, their hands clasped.
"Same time next weekend?" Inui's glasses glinted.
Tezuka answer was a small grin and Inui felt satisfied as though he had won the game.
