Chapter Fifteen; The Doctor's Weakness

"You know you were awfully rude to her. Amber Anderson is an old friend of ours, we were never involved or anything." Mickey said.

"That's funny I thought you said that her last name was Holiday." Martha said.

"It was before she got married. And don't ask how I knew about it because I read it in the paper." Mickey told her.

"Mickey maybe you should cut Martha a little bit of slack. After all I know what it's like to be jealous." Rose said.

"Why? When have you ever been jealous?" The Doctor asked her.

"Remember Madame De Pompadour?" she questioned him.

"Oh yeah." The Doctor began as he glanced over at her. "Uh look I think I better check my email." He said before he turned around and started walking down the hallway back into their bedroom.

"What!?" Rose exclaimed with disbelief as she started to follow him. "You're worried about your computer at a time like this?" she asked him.

"Look darling, it's all in the past and you know I love you. Besides I'm pretty sure that you want me to check it." He began as he entered the bedroom. "It could have the kind of information that we've been looking for." He said.

"You mean about why you regenerated backwards?" she questioned him as she followed him inside.

"Yes, and The Master might be able to fix it." He told her as he sat down inside his chair and turned on his laptop.

"Who's The Master?" she asked him.

"He's the one that I was telling you about. The last remaining time lord besides ourselves." He answered. "Let's just hope that we have internet or I won't be able to go inside it to find out." He said.

"Don't you mean onto it?" Rose asked him as she bent down beside him and looked over his shoulder at his computer that suddenly turned on.

"No." he answered.

"Then what could you possibly be talking about?" she asked him.

"You'll see, hold on for a second while I log in." he said as he started to type in his username;

Sexyspaceman924

Rose stifled a laugh as he turned over to look at her. "What? I made that up when I was still attractive." He told her before he started to type his password. Rose was pleasantly surprised but flattered when she found out that it was her name. "Ah perfect, this must be it!" he exclaimed excitedly when he clicked on a link that read;

Check This Out :)

That's when suddenly a link to a Youtube video started playing and the web address read "Gotcha, you've been Rick Rolled!" The Doctor groaned and made a disgusted face. "Jack you annoying bastard!" he snapped before he clicked out of it and read the next link that read;

Meet Me At The Secret Warehouse

"This is it for sure." The Doctor began before he turned over to his wife and placed his hands upon her face. "I have to go now Rose. Watch the kids for me." He told her before he kissed her lips and pulled away and turned back to the computer screen. "This is it," he began as he slowly moved his hand towards the screen. Rose watched with amazement as his hand started to absorb into the screen.

"Doctor?" she questioned. "What's happening?" she asked but before he could answer her he was sucked up inside the computer screen leaving Rose completely confused and dumbfounded. A few moments later he reappeared inside the warehouse that The Master had been referring to.

"Ah there you are Doctor, long time no see old chum." He told him.

"Alright enough with the small talk, do you know what's happened to me or don't you?" The Doctor asked him crossly.

"Yes as a matter of fact I do, but what I want to know is what's in it for me. After all we've been arch enemies for centuries." He told him.

"Yes but we used to be friends before you went mad." The Doctor pointed out.

"Alright here's the deal Doctor, I'll tell you what you want to know if you give me the TARDIS." The Master told him.

"What!? Impossible!" he yelled.

"It's better than Rose." The Master pointed out.

"How did you know about her." The Doctor said.

"Everybody knows about her! There's a whole prophecy about her and your son remember!?" he exclaimed. "Anyway, you can always regrow the TARDIS but once Rose is dead, she's dead. She can't come back. And that might happen sooner than expected if you don't listen to me." He said.

"Alright fine," he began reluctantly. "you can have the TARDIS. Just leave Rose alone and tell me what went wrong during my regeneration." The Doctor told him as The Master gave him a sly little grin.

"I think you pretty much answered that one for yourself. You gave into me because you were afraid of what I might do to your wife." He began. "And you know that saying about fear being a weakness that holds you down? Well it's right." He told him.

"So you're saying I regenerated backwards because I was afraid to regenerate forwards. I was afraid of how Rose would react and that's why I wanted to stop and that's the thing that caused the glitch." He realized.

"That's correct, now a deal's a deal and the TARDIS is mine." The Master told him.

"No wait! You forgot to tell me how to change back!" he cried.

"Well that's simple, drink this." He told him as he gave him a vile of a green liquid like substance.

"What is it?" he asked him.

"Poison of course. I mean of course it would kill an ordinary human being, but if you drink this you'll start to regenerate back into your hunky self." He said sarcastically with a grin.

"How do I know that you're telling me the truth?" The Doctor questioned.

"You don't." he began. "But really Doctor what choice do you got?" he said.

"Good point." The Doctor told him. "Well, thanks for everything." He said before he quickly disappeared.
