Hey everyone sorry I took a while uploading to be honest I had writer block it took me a while to figure out what to do with the story and when I figure it out I got distracted by monster hunter 4 put so many hour into it lol also batman arkham knight came out and I played quite a few hours into that as well so sorry about that. I saw E3 and OMG Final Fantasy 7 remake so happy it finally happen after so many years anyway enough talking her the latest chapter I had help editing it and I am think of revising the old chapter and editing them I want to know for you the readers if I should or leave the chapter the way they are anyway here the chapter I made it pretty long hope you enjoy

Chapter 9

Serah was within viewing distances of seven heaven saying every curse word she could think off, she couldn't wait to get back to give Cloud a good piece of her mind. She finally made it to seven heaven after a couple of hours, it was almost lunch time. Serah went straight inside she was looking for Cloud and saw a few customers who gave her a dirty looks she ignored them and went straight to Tifa, who was busy cleaning the finished her cleaning and when she saw Serah she gave her a hug

"Tifa" Serah squeaked in embarrassment "What are you doing"?

Tifa let go of Serah and looked relieved.

"Serah, are you okay? where were you and why didn't you answer any of my calls? I rang you so many times." Tifa noticed Serah's hand was wrapped in a bandage.

"What happened to your hand?"

Serah took her phone out and saw her battery was dead.

"Sorry Tifa, my battery died" Serah chuckled

"You should charge your phone Serah " Tifa looked worried.

"Sorry, next time I will make sure to charge my phone"

"Serah, why weren't you with Cloud when he came back? He just went straight to his room,he looked angry"

"Tifa I am fine, Cloud just left me back at the church and about my hand, I bruised it and Cloud bandaged it for me"

"Well at least he bandage your hand and it's not very funny that he left you on your own something could have happen to you" Tifa rolled her sleeves up and cracked her knuckles

"Serah excuse me a minute while I give Cloud a good talking too"

"Tifa wait" Serah blocked Tifa from going upstairs

"It was my fault. I shouldn't have done that prank on him. If you thrash him he might just leave again and everything would be for nothing. I will go to talk to him"

Tifa calmed down.

"Okay Serah you go and talk to him"

Tifa went back to the bar and was checking the stock while Serah went upstairs. She walked down the corridor until she ended up outside Clouds room. Without knocking she went inside and saw Cloud was sitting on his chair sorting out all of the papers on the desk. He didn't notice her because he was wearing headphones. Serah went straight up to him and yanked the earphones off. Cloud looked up and saw Serah with a vengeful look on her face

"Hey Serah" Cloud looked relieved

"Don't hey Serah me. How dare you leave me at the you know what hell I went through to get back here?"

Cloud didn't say anything which earned him a thump on his head. Cloud didn't feel a thing while Serah was nursing her hand. Cloud got up from his chair and grabbed her wrist

"Serah you should be careful. You don't want your hand getting worse"

"Don't try and change the subject mister"

"I..."

"You what?"

"I am sorry Serah. I didn't mean to upset you and I was angry at myself when I left you there. Something bad could have happened to you.I came back to get you after 10 minutes but you weren't there. I looked all over the city for you, but I couldn't find you so I came back here to call a guy who owed me a favour and he told me you were on your way back here so I needed to do something to keep me occupied"

Cloud pointed at the paperwork

"Serah I am really sorry"

"Cloud" Serah felt like a jerk, she started the whole prank war first. Serah took a chair and dragged it towards the desk and sat down.

"Cloud, it is not all your fault. I am to blame as well, anyway thanks for putting up with since I moved here you and Tifa have been the only people here that I am comfortable talking to and you also have been putting up with everything I had done so thanks"

"Serah it's interesting to have someone like you are pretty unique"

"You too Cloud. Anyway now that we are done with the mushy stuff shouldn't you get back to work?"

Cloud chuckled and went back to his desk to sort out the paperwork.

"Cloud, what is with all of this paperwork?"

"They are all of the bills that I have not been able to sort out because of you".

"Me, what did I do?"

"Serah don't you remember I was your tour guide and for the past couple of days and I have been helping you with all of your shopping as well. You told me if I helped you then you were going to help me with the paperwork."

Serah bit her tongue

"Oh shit I forgot"

"Its fine you don't.."

"No I want to help you. I said that I will help you with your paperwork".

Serah took all of the bills and was checking that everything was in order and was shocked how poorly Cloud had organised the paperwork all of the dates were muddle up.

"Cloud, have you ever sorted these out before?"

"Yes, but usually Tifa sorts out all of the paperwork but lately she has not had the time to sort them out.I also need to get into the habit of sorting out the paperwork, but I've been busy with the deliveries for the past couple of weeks so the paperwork piled up."

"Good thing I am helping you otherwise you will be here for years".

Serah was organizing all the paperwork in order and Cloud was checking that all the numbers were correct after an hour Tifa had come in and asked both Cloud and Serah what they would like to eat. After receiving both of their orders Tifa went to prepare it. Cloud took all of the paperwork from the table and placed it on the sofa next to the TV. After 20 minutes Tifa brought their food and placed it on the desk.

"Thanks Tifa" they said in unison.

"You're welcome. I will come back and collect your plates when you finish"

Serah was drooling at the sight of her food. It was eggs with bacon and sausages. For dessert she had a giant slice of chocolate cake and her drink was a glass of coka cola when she started to eat, she noticed Cloud's food. He had a small portion of cooked chicken with brown rice and salad. For dessert he had a mixture of different fruits such as orange, pear, plums and peaches and for drink he had a bottle of water.

"Cloud, your food looks way too healthy yoy should have some junk food once in a while"

Cloud stopped eating his food and replied

"Serah, I have to eat all of this, it is part of my diet to give myself energy and to keep healthy. I don't like eating junk food that much. I would only eat junk food once in a couple of months and only sometimes I eat junk food on special occasion."

"Wow Cloud, you are so boring you should eat some junk food".

"Serah, do you eat anything healthy?All I have seen you eat is junk and it's not really good for eating too much junk is going to bite you back. Anyway we should stop talking and finish our food. We still have to finish all the paperwork off ".

"Yes dad" Serah said sarcastically.

Once they had finished their food they went back to work making sure that the dates and numbers were all correct a while later Tifa came back and took all of the trays that Cloud had left on the sofa and went downstairs. Serah was so bored rechecking the paperwork over and over again and Cloud being silent was not making the situation any better,so she got up and went to the shelf that had video games and had a saw quite a lot of titles and some titles she had played herself such as devil may cry, chocobo farming, turok, ninja gaiden and a few others.

"Cloud"

"Yes Serah, what is it?" Cloud stopped working and look up to where Serah was standing.

"Why do you have so many video games?You don't look like the type of person who plays games"

"You shouldn't judge a book by its cover. I used to play video games when I was a kid. A lot has happened since then and I have not had the time to play any games."

"Then why do you have so many games?"

Cloud was getting annoyed with Serah's questions.

"These games were all on sale and I decided to buy the console and the games to play but I haven't had the time to play any of them".

"So you have not played any games, that's perfect"

Cloud raised his eyebrows.

"I challenge you Cloud strife to a game what do you say?"

"No I am busy" Cloud went back to sorting the paperwork and stopped when he heard chicken sounds.

"Serah can you stop making that sound, it's irritating"

"I will only stop if you agree to face me"

"No"

Serah kept making chicken sounds it took Cloud 20 minutes to agree.

"Okay I'll verse you, just stop making that sound we will play after the paperwork is done"

"Okay"

Serah sat back down and helped Cloud finish the last of the paperwork after a couple of hours the paperwork was finally sorted. Cloud got two chairs and place them in front of the TV and took out the ps3 console. He tried to connect the hdmi cable from the ps3 to the TV,but he was having a hard time since he didn't know which wires went where. Serah just chuckled and offered to lend Cloud a quickly set up the console and got the game to display on the TV. Cloud sat down and mumbled to himself, saying he almost had it working.

Serah sat down and handed Cloud a controller

"Cloud lets have fun, by the way I am going to win" Serah smiled sinisterly

"We will see"

Serah chose Alisa while Cloud picked jin the round started they were both mashing the buttons like crazy trying to get as many hit on each other as they can. Serah won the first round

"Yes I beat you"

"It's not over yet"

The second round had already started Alisa had already taken half of Jin's HP, but Cloud wanted to beat Serah. Jin got Alisa into the air and took 60% HP off before Serah could react Cloud did a throw which killed her.

"WHAT"

"Told you" Cloud smirked

Serah wanted to beat Cloud so badly she got ready for the final round. Alisa had taken quite a lot of HP from Jin, but Cloud was not out he counter attacked and did quite a lot of damage they were both neck and neck serah try a low move which got she though got her the victory.

"Yes I won"

"I don't think so"

Jin did a hop kick which got Alisa and Cloud won. He put his controller down and saw Serah mouth was wide open.

"Told you"

"It's not fair I played this game more than you and I still lost" Serah pouted

Cloud turned off the ps3 and the TV. He went to open the curtain and was surprised it was already pitch black looked at the clock and it was already dinner time he sat down on his desk chair.

"Serah are you going to stay for dinner? It's already 8:00"

Serah stopped pouting and checked the clock on the wall, surprised by the time.

"Shit it's already 8, I need to get back to my hotel"

Serah took her wallet out of her bag to check how much money there was but she had no money.

"Crap, how am I going to get home?"

"Serah you should eat something before going back. Are you okay" Cloud looked concerned.

"No thank you, I am not hungry" Serah's stomach grumbled.

"You're not hunger huh"

"Cloud."

"You don't have any money do you"

"How did you know?"

" It is pretty obvious why you don't want to eat its not a problem,dinners on the house for you"

"No, I cannot possible take that offer"

"Its fine, you have helped me sort out all of the paperwork which would have taken me days to do on my own and I had fun beating you in tekken. Tifa won't charge you for lunch or dinner and I will take you home as well even if you had money the taxis here are really expensive at night and I won't take no for an answer there are a lot of weird people out there at this time".

"Thank you Cloud for everything" Serah smiled

"No problem".

After they had both finished eating their dinner Cloud cleaned up all of the dishes and went downstairs. Serah got bored so she decided to have a look around his room just to be a bit nosey she noticed a couple of pictures next to the comic book saw two that caught her eye she took the portrait to have a closer look the portraits showed Cloud as a teenager. With his trademark hair he wore a uniform and had a gun behind his back the thing that shocked Serah was Cloud was being really goofy and was doing a peace sign with his hand. His arm was around someone who was taller and wore a different uniform. The top was black with two pauldrons on both sides. Around his waist he wore a belt with a shinra logo on it. Serah recognized the logo from the mall he was also wearing black pants and also had a big goofy grin on his face had his arm around Cloud and was also doing a peace sign. Serah could tell they were really close friends.

Serah took another portrait which showed a girl. She wore a pink dress that had buttons up the front and a red bolero jacket with brown had a smile like an angel. Her eyes were emerald green and her hair, long and light brown in colour, was tied at the back with a giant pink next to her was Cloud looking pretty uncomfortable. Serah let out a small chuckle.

"Serah what are you doing?"

Serah got startled and dropped both of the photos on the ground. The glass shattered, spreading glass fragments all over the floor. Cloud walk over to pickup both of the photos from the ground.

"Cloud, I am so sorry it was all my fault ".

Serah did not get a response from Cloud so she started to quickly pick up the glass fragments from the ground and got her finger cut.

"Damn it" Serah was sucking her finger trying to numb the pain.

Cloud went over to his desk and placed both photos down gently. He took a first aid kit, bin and a dustpan and brush from underneath the desk. He went to Serah, opening the first aid and took out the alcohol and plaster.

"Your hand"

Serah gave her hand and Cloud soaked a cotton swab with alcohol.

"This is going to hurt squeeze my hand as hard as you can it will make you feel better"

Cloud then swabbed Serah's wound with the alcohol soaked cotton swab. All Serah felt was an intense burning sensation on her squeezed Clouds hand as hard as she could hoping it would help numb the pain but it didn't. After Cloud cleaned the wound he put a plaster on her finger and threw the cotton swab in the bin he used the dustpan and brush to clean all the broken glass scattered on the floor, then threw it in the bin as well.

Serah did not know what to say to Cloud. Cloud was not saying anything so Serah assumed it was because she destroyed something that was precious to him she was frustrated with herself as she thought she ruined their friendship.

"Wow Serah, you must have broken a world record for having the most accidents in a single day"

"You're not mad that I broke your portrait? I am really sorry, I don't want to friendship to get ruined because I was being stupid" Serah was upset

Cloud went up to her and put his hand on her head.

"I am not mad. I know you didn't do it on purpose."

"Okay. Thank you Cloud"

"No problem"

"Cloud if you don't mind me asking,who are the people in the pictures? It looks like you were really close"

Cloud's had a sad look on his face.

"Serah, that's something I will tell you when I am ready"

"It's okay, I can wait"

" should get going, it's nearly ten"

"Okay, I am just going to get all my things and I will be downstairs".

Cloud went downstairs and took fenrir from the garage. Serah went downstairs and said goodbye to Tifa before leaving seven heaven. She went out the front door where Cloud was waiting.

"Well, are you ready?"

"Yeah Cloud, we can go"

"Yes ma'am"

"Cloud knock it off will you"

Cloud climbed on fenrir and Serah climbed on as well. She placed her hands tightly around his waist. When she had a tight grip they were off. Serah told Cloud the hotel address he knew where it was and in 10 minutes they had reached their destination.

"Luckily there was no traffic" Serah said

"Yeah that's a relief"

Cloud parked at the entrance of the disembarked from fenrir and gave Serah a hand to climb down, which she gladly accepted.

"Cloud, thanks for everything today. I had lots of fun"

"No problem it was an interesting day"

Cloud climbed back on fenrir and was about to leave

"Cloud wait"

Cloud looked back at Serah

"What is it?"

"I would like to thank you for everything you have done again"

"Its fine, you don't have to"

"Would you let me finish?"

"So would you like to hang out in my room?"

Cloud raised his eyebrows.

Serah knew what he was thinking and her face flushed a bright pink.

"NO not like that Cloud, just hang out man, that just sounded so wrong"

Cloud chuckled

"I know what you are trying to say Serah. I am free tomorrow so yeah, let's hangout. I will see you tomorrow"

"Wait Cloud, one more can I get your phone number? I don't really know too many people, if you don't mind"

"Sure" he took out his phone and they both exchanged numbers

Cloud started fenrir and drove off. Serah was waving until he disappeared from view. Afterward Serah went straight into her room. She kicked off her shoes and buried face on her pillow, wishing what she said to Cloud was a dream.

"Serah, you are officially an idiot"
