Zoro

"Zorooo," Danni whined piteously, hiding her face in her hands and trying not to cry. Why did her brother always do this to her?
Every time (every time) she so much as looked away for a second (a second, damnit!) he disappeared! And most of the time it took her days to find him again! Because he had no sense of direction. Why couldn't he have been born with a sense of direction? Why did she have to be the one to have that skill? Why couldn't he have dad's sense, why did he have to inherit mom's?
Danni let out a loud moan again, shoulders hunching, as she tried not to think of every possible disaster her brother could currently be causing. It would be just her luck that he would end up caught by Marines or something!
As if hearing the very thought, someone shouted, "Roronoa Zoro has been arrested!"
Danni promptly fell to the ground and wailed.

Nami
O
"Oh? Nami-chan?"
Nami blinked, head popping up at the call, and couldn't help but stare. Leaning against the doorway was her older sister, even more scars decorating her arms (and a new one making an x like mark on her cheek) than the last time she had seen the older woman. Her hair was loose around her shoulders, and falling down her back in waves of inky blackness. "Danni?" the orange haired teen asked, oblivious to the three curious eyes of her crewmates.
A smirk crossed over the scarred woman's face and she was next to their table in just a few long strides and cupping Nami's cheek. "What are you doing here, love?" she asked, thumb running along the girl's cheekbone.
"We're looking for a chef for our crew!" Luffy chimed cheerily, seemingly oblivious to the atmosphere around the two women.
Danni blinked, eyebrows rising in faint incredulity. "Crew?" she asked, shooting a look at her younger sister and letting her hand fall away. "I thought you said you would never join a pirate crew."
"Things -," Nami started, looking nervous and biting her cheek. "-changed."
Danni narrowed her eyes, and Nami very carefully didn't meet her gaze. Danni withheld a sigh, and wondered if leaving Cocoyashi had been good idea after all. She glanced over at the three men sitting at the table with her sister, and hummed thoughtfully.
Without any fanfare she pulled a chair up to the table and sat back, crossing her legs and pinning Luffy with a calm gaze, "You interested in hiring a gunner?" She completely ignored Nami's sputtered protests, simply keeping her gaze locked with the young man who had managed to convince her baby sister to join a pirate crew (even if only temporarily).

Usopp

"Miss Kaya, are you alright?" Danni asked cheerfully, shouldering the giant wrench in her hand and resting her other hand on her hip. Kaya blinked at the older woman in shock, looking between her and the prone form of Jango with a pale face. The three Usopp Pirates were gaping at their captain's older sister incredulously, wondering just where she had appeared from.
"I'm-I'm alright, Danni-san," Kaya finally managed to gasp out.
Danni continued to smile easily as she asked, "And just what has my baby brother gotten into since I've been gone, hmm?"
Despite the easy going expression on the mechanic's face, there was decidedly threatening tone to her voice that had all four of them twitching and paling in horror. "N-N-Nee-sama?" Usopp screeched, making Zoro wince and bite his cheek to refrain from tossing the other teen off his back.
"Usopp-chan~," Danni sang cheerily, spinning around and absently stepping on the fallen jango's face as she made her way over to her brother. "Just what have you been getting into, otouto?"
Usopp paled.

Sanji

"Where did you say you saw him, huh!?" Danni snarled, cigarette threatening to fall out of her mouth as she pulled the man forward with her hand fisted in the front of his shirt. Her eyes were narrowed dangerously and her hair whipped around her wildly, creating a truly terrifying picture.
The man wheezed and managed to choke out, "Island 41."
Danni tossed him to the side and rushed in the direction of the island given. She had been looking for her little brother for years and she was finally close enough! It had been hard trying to follow the trail her mother had only just managed to leave behind and even harder to follow Sanji's after her death (she didn't like thinking about the circumstances but -).
She finally - finally - got a solid lead and she'd be damned if she didn't follow through.

Robin
O
"Nee-chan?" Danni whispered quietly, clutching at her sister's hand tightly and eyes wide. Robin swallowed heavily, pulling her sister closer and stepping slightly in front of her, in hopes of shielding the younger girl from sight.
Kuzan stared at the two little girls, his gut twisting, and finally said, "Go."
Danni blinked at him with large, blue eyes, and then a wide smile stretched over her face and she called out, even as her sister dragged her away, "Thanks, mister!" Her tiny hand waved at the marine, and Kuzan clenched his jaw tightly and glad for his iron clad control (or he might have just thrown up in disgust and he cursed the very government he worked for -).
"Danni, let's go," Robin said, trying not to let her voice sound harsh. Her baby sister only saw the best in people, even when they were showing their worst, and she had to protect her. She had promised okaasan that, and she wouldn't break it.

Franky

Franky blinked when Danni appeared out of nowhere her set of lockpicks jangling in her hands, and a cheerful smile on her face. "Danni, what -?" he blurted, but his little sister cut him off.
"Aniki," she said, voice suspiciously cheery (- it sent shivers crawling down his spine - nothing good ever came out of that specific tone of voice -). "You need to stop getting into trouble."
The cyborg huffed, but didn't protest (it was true, after all) and the petite girl's fingers and lockpicks made quick work of the cuffs. The blue haired girl turned a curious look over at the woman next to her brother, and she asked, "Her too, aniki?"
Franky turned to look at Robin assessing (she looked rather shell-shocked, but that had been her expression for a while now if he were to be honest). "Yeah, sure," he finally said. "The cuffs are seastone, though, and I'm pretty sure I heard something about there being specific keys for them."
Danni scoffed, "Like seastone can stop me."

Brook
O
"Oniisan! How could you!?" a voice suddenly screeched, making the Mugiwara pirates jump in shock. "I can't believe you let your shadow get stolen!" There was a 'pop' and a ghostly figure appeared next to their newly joined skeleton crewmate. It was a young woman with her face set in a furious pout, and bore a striking resemblance to Brook (for all that they could guess from his skeletal structure).
"Now, now, Danni, my darling princess," Brook started, but trailed off at the furious stare he was still receiving and his shoulders slumped, "I'm sorry, Danni."
She narrowed her eyes at him and then, with her hands planted on her fists, berated, "You should be! You forgot about me when your shadow was stolen! I had to be chained to ghastly samurai for that entire time! It was gross!"
Brook sweat dropped. "My deepest apologies, my darling princess." Then in an effort to distract his younger sister, motioned to the confounded pirates behind and asked sheepishly, "May I introduce you to my - our - new crew?"
Her eyes narrowed even further.

Luffy

"Sabo-" Luffy cried out in shock, only to be cut off as his sister's fist crashed into the blonde's face.
He closed his mouth with a snap even as tears streamed down his face. Danni had her own tears streaming down her face, and she snarled, "You absolute asshole!"
Sabo winced, holding his rapidly swelling cheek, and gave her a weak smile, "Sorry, Danni."
She let out a choked sob and then dragging her younger brother with her pulled the blonde into a tight hug, "Sa-bo!"
The blonde clutched the both of them back tightly and said, "I'm so glad you're both alive!"
Luffy let out his own loud sob, his grip tightening around his two siblings even tighter. Danni buried her face in Sabo's neck, fingers digging into his back roughly. She had never thought - had hoped but - "Sabo!" she wailed all her grief giving way to relief.

Zoro - the older sister; remembers their parents - though Zoro's doesn't; uses a blade; basically the aggrieved older sibling who literally has to constantly hold her little brother's hand so he doesn't get lost goddamnit
Nami - quite a few years older than Nami and Nojiko; left Cocoyashi shortly after Arlong's taking over to get money for Nami's release - or to find her father and see if he will take the fishman down - she's still Benn's daughter - but her mother never told him she was pregnant and moved to a different island - which ended up destroyed with Dann, Nami, and Nojiko being the only survivors
Usopp - the older sister; a wandering mechanic (though only to the few islands surrounding Syrup); remembers Yasopp and loves him but thinks he's a rather shitty father; she uses an oversized wrench as a weapon and is overly fond of hitting people who threaten her and what's her's; puts the fear of women in Usopp and comes off as vaguely threatening when she smiles a certain way that never fails to terrify people
Sanji - (i haven't actually read the latest arc yet so i only know the bare minimum about it) older sister that never agreed with her family, and looked out for Sanji when she could, but was often pulled away by other things; left the family when she found out her mother and Sanji left (resulting in the death of their mother) and has been searching for Sanji ever since; uses knives as weapons and ended up being overly aggressive
Robin - younger sister; never got a wanted poster since she can't read the writings Robin can - but it became known that if you ever attacked her, Robin lived up to the moniker given to her; Robin refused to let Danni come with her to Baroque Works - but Danni ends up joining Luffy's crew and so things happened a little differently, since the crew has heard stories from Danni about her amazing older sister who always protected her
Franky - younger sister; thief/ninja; she has a rather nasty habit of getting into places she shouldn't, and unlocking things that really shouldn't have been able to be opened without a key; has a nasty scar all over her left side/stomach/back
Brook - was on the same crew with Brook; younger sister; ended up eating a Devil Fruit the same time as Brook - but never found out what kind of power it was until she died; she ended up becoming chained to Brook's sword and becoming the sword's spirit in a very literal way; she's able to make herself corporal and nearly gave her brother a heart attack (even though he was now a skeleton) the first time she did that; he named his sword saiai no ōjo (roughly beloved princess, i believe) after her; she can communicate with other spirits of blades and has a lot of fun talking with Zoro's
Luffy - older than Luffy and was tasked with looking out for him by Garp; was very fond of Shanks and his crew (especially Benn) - gained a scar over half her face from the bandit, Higuma, when he first "attacked" the bar - Shanks and the crew were not pleased; becomes siblings with Ace and Sabo - after nearly killing Ace himself when he kept attacking her baby brother (it got better after Ace helped save Luffy from Blue Jam); leaves with Luffy instead of striking out on her own, because heaven knows her baby brother needed all the help he could get

TRICKSTERTHIEF: originally, this was gonna be like actually storyline type things - but i couldn't seem to ever figure ones out except for a little of Luffy's and Brook's so i ended up just doing little drabbles! if you guys ever want to see certain scenarios with this au, just send a PM or review and i'll see what i can do! I plan on drawing some chibi's on what she looks like, since I have actually drawn them before – so keep a look out for those on her blog!
Danni's been really pushing for some writing to get done for her, though I haven't been able to catch up on the manga yet, so that particular writing isn't happening yet - but she's been rather helpful for MD stuff, so there's at least that.
