Your eyes close. Your mouth turns down, just by a fraction of a degree, the way it always has when you're upset or conflicted or angry... or in this case all three at once.
What can you say? What can you say to the boy who set you free, who showed you everything you could be, when you're about to cut yourself off from him even though you know there was something? Because there was something. But, let's be honest, somethings rarely last long. Especially when you're fifteen. In the middle of a war. With the apocalypse occurring all around you.
