This is a fictional poetic letter to Moffat and Gatiss I wrote for Verityburns and Scopesmonkey since we all need a bit of a smile right now. Scopes said I should share so...I did.

I do not own, nor do I profit from the characters of Sherlock and John who belong to Doyle and BBC.

Creators of 'Sherlock'

I have some requests

That in the next series

Please fewer arrests

One time for poor Sherlock

And also dear John

Was really not needed

Before they were gone

But since they have parted

I really do hope

You write and film fast

As we all do cope

I pray John is single

At Sherlock's return

For he will soon stray

His Mrs. will learn

So do the right thing

For each of the men

May both come back soon

To their little den

While Sherlock is gone

And travels through lands

His heart is still safe

In lonely John's hands

So when he comes back

Simply do the right thing

Give him a hard punch

Then lots of shagging

And just one more thing

Please do this for us

A Sherlock who shows

He cares without fuss
