LeonandCloud
It was a very pretty day in the Hollow Bastian, Leon was out watering his flower garden and Cloud was sitting at the window of their castle patting their cat.
"Hey Cloud! Come down here!" Leon yelled from the garden.
"What is it?" Cloud yelled back.
"Just come here!"
Cloud picked up Nibbleson the cat and put her on the ground.
"Sorry Nibbleson, Leon's calling," Nibbleson le out a hiss as Cloud ran out of the room.
When Cloud got down to the garden he found Leon with a little bird in his hands.
"What the heck is that…?" Cloud asked with a disturbed look.
"It's a little bird! I think he has a hurt wing!" Leon held the little birds wing out, it looked tattered and ripped.
"Sooo…?" Cloud asked.
"Well, I was thinking, maybe we could help him? Keep him till his wing gets better," Leon smiled at Cloud.
"Fine, but not for long!" Cloud warned him.
So Leon brought his little bird friend into the castle and put him in a big silver cage.
"There you go, little bird," The bird twittered merrily as Leon walked out the door.
At dinner that night, Leon was absent.
"Where's Leon?" Asked Cloud, raising one eyebrow.
"I saw him heading up to his room earlier," Yuffie answered. "He sure has being acting strange lately!"
"It's the stupid bird!" Cloud muttered under his breath.
"What bird?" Yuffie seemed amused by the thought of Leon and a bird.
"Yeah, he found a bird with a hurt wing in his flower garden this morning…" Cloud seemed rather embarrassed.
"Ahhh, I see… You're jealous of a bird, wow…" Yuffie shot a smile at Cloud.
"I better go and see what he's up to!" Cloud stood up quickly and left the dinner table.
"Leon? What are you doing?" Cloud pushed his door open, to reveal Leon holding the dead little bird.
"He's DEAD Cloud!" Leon whispered in tears.
"How did that happen?" Cloud sat beside Leon and wrapped an arm around him.
"Your dumb cat Nibbleson got him!" Leon cried.
"Oh dear! I am sorry Leon, but maybe it was best for it…" Cloud seemed to be vaguely amused.
"It was a HIM and his name was Twinkle!" Leon angrily went outside to bury him.
"Oh Leon…" Cloud whispered after him.
Cloud decided to go down stairs, on his way he bumped in to Nibbleson.
"Nice work buddy!" Cloud winked at his little black and white cat, who in return meowed a loud, long meow at him.
"Oh hey Cloud," Leon came in the back door.
"Hey Leon, I'm sorry…" Cloud said.
"It's… Okay Cloud, I know Nibbleson didn't mean it… Well he probably did but anyway…" Leon seemed to confuse himself. Cloud gave Leon a big hug.
"You're the best!" Cloud laughed.
"Awww, so are you Cloudy, so are you," Leon chuckled.
