I've had a couple of new ideas lately for my in-progress stories and a couple of one-shots. I'm trying to get my update speed quicker, I know what it's like when someone takes forever to upload. It's so frustrating! So I'll do my best! Now, forward to the story...

It's amazing what someone with magical healing properties can recover from. If you fall out of a window in a double story building and break your leg, you can fully recover in probably 3 days even 2 if you're lucky. If you happen to snap your neck, you won't die. Yes, being a pureblood vampire really has its perks. But there is still one thing that no magical healing powers in the world, no matter how strong, can fully mend… ever… a broken heart…
There isn't some surgery or procedure called 'miracle broken heart surgery: guaranteed to mend a broken heart' it's just not possible, you can't mend it, you can search all your life for a cure, but you will always come out empty handed.
My broken heart is different to the one you're probably thinking of, the one where some guy has a secret affair without his girlfriend/wife knowing. When the girlfriend/wife finds out she usually breaks up/divorces him straight away, then she leaves with a broken heart.
That's not the case for me; I know Kaname would never cheat on me, just as I would never cheat on him. No, my broken heart is more like a broken soul, a broken spirit. Sure I still have determination, power, strength and stubbornness on my side, but the one thing I need the most is hardly ever here…
Kaname, big brother, fiancé, you are all I will ever need in this cold, cruel world (except of course for blood, but if I had to go the rest of my life without blood just having him by my side would help me get through it). Kaname, please come home soon, come home and stay with me. I know that what you're doing is necessary for both my safety and your own. But I need you, I love you, so please come home soon. I wish you a safe journey.
