Chiron and Foaly were brothers, well, from the moment they were born. Their mother, Philyra, hated their father, Kronos, who wanted to take over civilization, but unfortunately hated Foaly and Chiron as well. After accidentally giving birth to yet another baby centaur, Foalette, she abandoned Foaly and Chiron, taking Foalette simply because "she's really quite cute".
