A/N: I changed the first chapter. It's better now. This one isn't all romance. There's a bit of Family-Angst.
Disclaimer: Nope, I don't own it.
Quote: "We should love, not fall in love. Because when something falls, it breaks" ~ Taylor Swift
Annabeth was sick of falling. Not just the physical falling, like when the spiders came for her, or when she fell off the rope course when Luke walked by; but also all the emotional falling.
Her father never cared about her. If he did, he didn't show it until she came back by her friend's request.
She developed a major crush on Luke, and look what happened! True, she loved him as a brother, but she did break.
She was sick of it. So when Percy shows up, completely clueless and such a Kelp Head, she subconsciously decides that she wasn't going to wait for him to push her into love. He'd take forever to finally figure it out. She was going to pull love out of whatever hole it was in, and subtly admit it to him.
