Chapter 7
(A few days later)
Naruto sat at one of the Watchtower monitors, as he looked to see if there was any trouble that needed taking care of.
With him was Green Lantern, who was drinking coffee as he watched a monitor of his own, and Flash, who had a burger and a cup of coke, while reading a magazine.
"So, how is Kurama doing?" Flash asked, as he turned a page in his magazine, while taking a sip of his drink.
"Still on lockdown, after that party he threw with some of his friends" Naruto said, deciding not to announce his friends' existence, since they were on the downlow.
"Kurama has friends?" John asked curiously with a raised eyebrow.
"Yup, and a few of them are quite the characters," Naruto said with a chuckle.
"So, how long did it take you to calm Will down, after those two alien chicks were all over you?" Flash asked with a chuckle at Naruto, who groaned at this.
Before Naruto could answer, the alarm went off and the monitor showed what looked like a car chase happening in Central City.
"Well, looks like this'll be an easy one for me" Flash said with a grin, as he finished off his burger and drink, before he crumpled up his burger wrapper and tossed it into the bin nearby, while simply tossing the cup after it.
"One of us should stay here, and keep up monitoring duty," John said, with a look at Naruto.
"Come on GL, let the newbie out of the cage. Plus, I can keep an eye on him" Flash said, as he looked at John with a grin.
"What am I, 5?" Naruto asked with a twitching eyebrow.
"Youngest on the team, sorry bud" Flash said with a shrug.
"Yea, but at least I have a steady girlfriend," Naruto said with a smug look, as he readied his Hirashin.
"HA! He's got you there" John said with a smile, as he sat down to watch the monitors, while they handled this.
"Try to keep up, rookie" Flash said with an annoyed tone, before he and Naruto headed for the teleporters and disappeared in beams of light.

(Central City)
Naruto and Flash then appeared in the city and after a moment, the truck that was leading the police on a chase drove past them.
"Leave it to me slowpoke" Flash said, before he took off after the truck.
Naruto smirked at this, as he disappeared again in a flash of light
As the Flash was approaching the truck, he noticed Naruto's kunai embedded in the door of the truck. Next second he knew Naruto was hanging from the door, thanks to his chakra.
"Ha, too slow!" Naruto said with a grin, before he opened the door and reached for the wheel of the truck, before the guy driving elbowed him in the face, making him go out of the truck. But he quickly reacted, and jumped onto the roof of the truck.
"Not so easy, is it rookie?" Flash asked with a smirk, as he kept up with the truck.
Naruto scowled at this, before in a burst of adrenaline, he jumped forward and landed on the street, before turning around and making a few hand signs then slamming his hands on the street, making what looked like a swamp appear in the middle of the road.
The truck swerved to the side, trying to avoid the swamp, but it ran into a lamp post and crashed.
Flash ran over to the truck, and pulled the now unconscious driver out of the truck, and placed him on the ground.
"Not bad for a rookie, eh?" Naruto asked with a chuckle, as he approached Flash.
"Heh, I'll admit, not that bad…..that swamp is gonna disappear though, right?" Flash asked, as he gestured to the swamp Naruto made, which was blocking traffic.
"Heh, my bad" Naruto said as he rubbed the back of his head slightly, as he went to undo the swamp jutsu so traffic could continue.

(A little later)
After the cops had taken the mad driver and his accomplice away, Naruto and Flash were now in the park. Flash was getting some hotdogs, while Naruto was thinking to himself.
"What's on your mind bud?" Flash asked, as he waited for his order of more hotdogs.
"I don't like how that went. That guy genuinely didn't seem to know what was going on, after he woke up" Naruto said with a frown.
"Maybe he was possessed or something, and the spirit left him," Flash said with a shrug, before he ate a hotdog.
"Nope, I checked for that. Sage Mode didn't pick up a thing
"Hypnosis then?" Flash asked, as he got his hotdogs, and paid before eating them.
"That would make more sense," Naruto said, as he nodded at this.
They then heard some people yelling and running out of the park.
"Hey, what's going on?" Naruto asked a woman, who was running in their direction.
"There is a gorilla!" the woman yelled in a panic, before she ran off
"Oh jeez. Did someone decide to let it out of the zoo or something?" Naruto asked with a groan.
"I'm on it" Flash said, before he sped off.
"Wait, don't go alone!" Naruto yelled, before he tried to go after him, but was stopped by the hotdog vendor.
"Your buddy didn't pay for all of those," the man said with a firm tone.
Naruto groaned at this, as he took out his wallet, making a mental note to prank Flash later.

(Later)
It was now sunset, and Naruto was looking for Flash. But he was having very little luck, and Flash wasn't answering his communicator
{"Naruto, are you there?"} John said over his earpiece.
"I read you John. What's up?" Naruto asked, placing his finger to his earpiece.
{"I found Flash"} John said.
"Where is he? He owes me some money!" Naruto said with an annoyed tone, as he walked down a street.
{"He's locked up at the police station"} John said with a firm tone
Naruto stopped walking with a look of shock on his face. "I'm sorry, but could you please repeat that? I think I misheard you" he said.
{"Just meet me at the police station"} John said firmly.
"Ai ai, gunny" Naruto said with a smirk, as he knew John was an ex marine.
{"…don't call me that in front of Flash"} John said with an annoyed tone, hearing Naruto's snicker, as he made his way to the police station.
"Hang on, what about monitor duty?" Naruto asked.
{"Diana, Hawkgirl and J'onn will be here soon, so they'll take over"} John said, before he hung up.

(Central City Police station)
Naruto and John walked into the interrogation room where they saw the false talking to two detectives.
"Hey buddy, have they given you a cavity search yet?" Naruto asked with an audible grin behind his face mask.
"Ha ha, very funny," Flash said with a dry tone.
"Who's the ninja?" one of the cops asked his partner, as he looked at Naruto with a raised eyebrow.
"The name is Sage. I help the league on occasion, but I'm mostly based in New York" Naruto said with a shrug.
John gave the other police detective a slip of paper. "He will be coming with us," he said firmly.
"Now hold on, you can't just -" the detective's partner was saying, before he was cut off.
"Apparently they can, this is an official order from the mayor" the detective said, holding up the piece of paper.
"Plus, if he was really the one who stole them, do you really think you could keep him here?" John asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Yea. Plus, he's been out of your handcuffs for the last 30 seconds" Naruto said with a smile at Flash, which he returned.
"Wait, what?" the detectives said, as they turned and saw Flash spinning the cuffs on his finger, as he followed John and Naruto out of the cell.
Minutes later, they were outside the police station.
"So, why'd they arrest ya Flash? Were you breaking the speed limit or something?" Naruto asked with a snicker.
"Please, I do that regularly - ow!" Flash was saying with a grin, before John slapped him on the back of the head.
"That's for rushing off on your own. Now what happened?" John asked with an annoyed tone.
"Well, the last thing I remember was a talking ape. And the next thing I know, I'm waking up in the police station, looking at footage of me stealing all those isotopes" Flash said.
"Wait, a talking ape? Are we in Rise of the Planet of the Ape's now?" Naruto asked with a raised eyebrow.
"The only ape in the city is in captivity in some scientist's lab," John said, as he flew off.
"Wait, we're actually gonna go question an ape?" Naruto asked curiously, as he activated Sage Mode and flew after him, while Flash ran after them.
"Flash is not a liar, so best to be sure" John said firmly.
"True" Naruto said as he nodded at this, as while Flash was overconfident and goofy sometimes, he was no better sometimes.

(Star Labs)
Naruto, John and Flash were in the lab, being shown around by Dr Sarah Corwin.
"And you say this ape actually talked to you?" Dr Corwin asked Flash with a bored tone.
"That's what he said" Naruto said, as he and John followed her, while Flash was interacting with an ape, offering him a banana.
Before Dr Corwin slapped his hand.
"Hey, he's just being nice lady," Naruto said with a raised eyebrow at the Doctor.
"He's not a fan of people. Now, I think you should go" Dr Corwin said, pointing at the door.
Naruto raised an eyebrow at this, before he looked at the gorilla and focused some of his Sage chakra into his senses, and his eyes widened at the emotions coming off the gorilla.
"Come on Sage, let's go" Flash called out to Naruto, as he and John stood at the door, waiting for him.
Naruto nodded at this, and followed them out of the lab.
After a few moments, Dr Corwin turned to the gorilla and opened his cage. "Sorry about them, Grodd," she said.
"It's fine. Though the blonde may be suspicious. What are his powers?" the now named Grodd asked, as he walked out of the cage.
"Not a lot is known, I'm afraid. He's reclusive and keeps to his ninja theme" Dr Corwin said with a frown.
"Hmmmm, he might be suspicious. We will have to skip to the end game of our plan, come" Grodd said firmly, as Dr Corwin handed him a helmet which he put on.

(With Naruto)
Naruto, Flash and John were now in the park again, looking for any trace of the gorilla Flash had encountered.
"Any sign of him yet? John asked
"How do you know it's a him? For all we know, it's a her" Naruto said.
"It had a male voice," Flash said.
"Well, I can speed this along. Hold on" Naruto said, as he focused for a few moments, before he went into Sage Mode.
"I'm still not used to that. I half expect you to scream and fight some cat God" Flash said with a grin at Naruto.
"Save the jokes for later. Do you have a reading on him Sage?" John asked Naruto.
"Yup. He's watching us from that tree" Naruto said, as he pointed up at a tree nearby.
Suddenly, a big gray furred gorilla dropped out of the tree. "Pretty smart for a human" he said, as he walked over to them.
"My Sage Mode lets me feel for all signs of life, Mr….?" Naruto asked, hoping to get a name.
"The names Solovar of Gorilla City" the gorilla said, as he gave them a nod.
"…..well, we deal with aliens and gods, so far. So why not?" Flash asked with a sigh.
"What are you doing here?" John asked firmly.
"I'm looking for a criminal who has been causing trouble for Gorilla City. I tracked him to this city" Solovar said.
"Let me guess, black fur and has a look like he thinks you're beneath him?" Naruto asked, as he put it together.
"Yes, that's him. You have seen him?" Solovar asked.
"Yup. It's that gorilla back at the lab" Naruto said, as he nodded.
"How do you know?" Flash asked curiously.
"I used Sage Mode while there, and I felt nothing but hate and pride from him, which is odd for a supposed lab animal," Naruto said.
"Fascinating. This Sage Mode lets you feel out even deep emotions?" Solovar asked curiously.
"We can talk later. We need to find this criminal of yours" John said.
"His name is Grodd, and he's probably already on the move with his human ally" Solovar said, as he pulled out a pistol.
"Don't worry. I have some clones following them. One just dispelled, and apparently they are at a missile base, and they just let them in" Naruto said.
"Grodd's mind control technology" Solovar said with a nod.
"That's most likely how he controlled you" John said to Flash.
"I'll show him for making a monkey out of me!" Flash said with a annoyed tone
"Wait! Take these, they'll protect you from falling under his control" Solovar said, as he handed Flash and John headbands, which they put on, with Solovar putting one on himself.
"Are you gonna be ok?" John asked Naruto, who didn't have a headband, since Solovar only had three.
"I'll be fine. I'm good at avoiding the enemy" Naruto said with a thumbs up.
"Now, why would he want to go to an army base with missiles?" John asked, after nodding at Naruto
"Probably to destroy Gorilla City" Solovar said with a frown.
Naruto nodded at this, as he sent out a text, before he looked at the others. "Ok everyone, gather around. I can get us there quickly, thanks to my clone" he said.

(With Naruto's clone)
Naruto's clone was fighting Grodd in the army control room, and throwing kunai's at him, while avoiding his attacks.
"Do you really think your little toys can beat me? Quite frankly, I feel insulted" Grodd said with a grin.
"Who said the kunai was meant to beat you?" the clone asked with a smirk, before he puffed away in a cloud of smoke.
Grodd turned to look at the kunai embedded in the wall, and saw that one was glowing slightly. But before he could react, in a flash of light Naruto, Flash, John and Solovar were in the room.
"Get him!" Flash yelled, as he sped off attacking Grodd, but had to dodge as he sent a mind blast from his helmet, causing chairs to be sent flying.
"You never said he could do that with his helmet!" Naruto yelled at Solovar, as they took cover.
"How did you find me so quickly?!" Grodd yelled, as Dr Corwin pushed some buttons on the control panel.
"Talent, banana boy" Naruto said with a smirk, as he could tell he would get annoyed and sloppy if he insulted him.
Grodd roared at this, as he charged at Naruto, who avoided him by switching with a bookcase with the Substitution Jutsu.
"Not that bright, if you can be tricked with a low level move" Naruto said with a smirk.
Grodd then burst out from under the bookcase, and charged again at Naruto.
"Toro Toro!" Naruto yelled, as he avoided him again, making him slam against a wall. "Ole!"
"You may be slippery, but you're too late. Within minutes, Gorilla City will be destroyed!" Grodd yelled as he glared at Naruto, who was hanging from the roof.
"NO!" Solovar yelled out, as Dr Corwin pressed a button on the control console, causing sirens to sound as missiles were launched.
"Relax. I called someone, just in case this happened" Naruto said with a smirk, as the lights started to spark in the room.
Flash smiled at this, as he figured out what was happening.
Grodd and Corwin looked at the screen that was tracking the launched missiles, and saw that the missiles didn't make it far, before they exploded.
"What did you do?!" Grodd yelled at Naruto, with an enraged look.
"Oh, nothing really. I just called my girlfriend. Here's the thing about her, she has a certain spark with all technology" Naruto said with a smirk, as he looked down at Grodd from the ceiling.
Grodd growled at this, before he fired an attack from his helmet, which struck the ceiling and destroyed it, and sent Naruto flying to the ground.
Grodd quickly ran at Naruto and grabbed him, before he hit him with his mind control wave.
"Naruto!" Flash and John yelled at seeing this.

(Naruto's mindscape)
Grodd was in a swear that was very dark, and water was dripping from the ceiling.
"This is his mind? Surprising, coming from such a plebian" he said, as he looked around and looked down the hallway, and soon spotted what looked like a cage.
Grodd approached the cage, and soon he saw a pair of red eyes looking at him, which caused Grodd to freeze.
["I've never had a visitor before. Guess the brat was right to leave a small piece of me in here, to keep his mind safe"] Kurama growled out.
"W-what are you? How are you in this fool's mind?" Grodd stuttered out, as he could tell this was a very powerful being.
["You can consider me the brats partner, and mind warden. Now…GET LOST!"] Kurama bellowed out, as he unleashed his full killer intent at Grodd, which engulfed him.

(Outside Naruto's mindscape)
"GAAAAAHHHHH!" Grodd yelled, as his helmet started to spark and shocked him badly, before he fell to the ground, dropping Naruto as he did.
"That's what happens when you try to mess with my mind," Naruto said with a groan, as he got up on his feet.
"What happened?" Flash asked curiously, as he checked on Naruto to make sure he was ok.
"Let's just say Kurama isn't a fan of mind control," Naruto said with a sheepish chuckle.
"What did you do to him?" Dr Corwin exclaimed, as she ran over to Grodd's down body.
"Relax, you should be free from his mind games now Flash said
"He wasn't controlling me, you moron. I loved him, and now the world has lost a great mind" Dr Corwin said in sadness, as she hugged Grodd's head.
"…ok, two things. One: ew, and two, it's gonna take a long time with Guardian before I'm right in the head again, after hearing that" Naruto said with a shudder.
"Maybe a few more ladies, to kill the memory even better" Flash said with a smirk.
"Well, Guardian has been eyeing Batgirl and Supergirl. But I don't need Bat's and the Boy Scout hunting me down" Naruto said with a chuckle.
"Ouch. Well, there are those alien babies that were eyeing you" Flash said with a chuckle of his own, as John cuffed Corwin.
"True, but I don't know if they know where Earth is," Naruto said.
"Wasn't Blackfire on Earth before?" Flash asked.
"…crap baskets," Naruto said with a groan.

(A few days later)
Naruto, Will and Kurama were eating some lunch, which was some sub sandwiches they had delivered.
["I get the meatball one!"] Kurama bellowed as he jumped onto the table, and sniffed at the bag Naruto was digging through.
"I know, I know. Here you go - oi! Watch the teeth!" Naruto yelled, as he held out a sandwich to Kurama, who grabbed it and started to eat it with gusto.
"Yeah, I'd prefer Naruto keeping all his bits and pieces," Will said with a nod, as she frowned at Kurama.
Naruto chuckled at this, as he handed her her sandwich, before he went to his own. But before he could take a bite, he fell over to the ground.
"Naruto!" Will yelled, as she ran to Naruto's side and turned him over, seeing his veins were now blue, and he was breathing heavily.
["Oi, what's with you brat? You shouldn't be able to get sick"] Kurama said, as he hopped off the table.
"This isn't a normal disease then. I'm calling the League" Will said, as she stood up.
"\I'm on it darling\" Edna said, as the TV turned on, and started to make the call, which after a few moments, an image of J'onn appeared.
{"What's wrong Guardian? We have a problem we're already dealing with,"} he said.
"Naruto is sick, and it's not a normal disease!" Will yelled at the Martin, as she carried Naruto to the couch, so he could see Naruto's condition.
J'onn's eyes widened at this, before he nodded. {"We were hoping Naruto wouldn't be affected by -"} he was saying, before getting cut off.
["What's going on? My best friend is sick, and not looking good. So talk, damn it!"] Kurama bellowed, as his fur stood on end from his anger.

(One explanation later)
"So some Amazon cunt is trying to kill all men with a home made disease?" Will growled out in anger.
["Great, the next level of feminist"] Kurama growled out.
{"Diana is looking for her, so -"} J'onn was saying, before he was interrupted.
"Good, then she can help me bury this bitch!" Will yelled, before she blasted the TV.
["So, what's the plan?"] Kurama asked with a glare.
"I'm calling Sabrina, Raven, Kara and Barbara, so that we can hunt this bitch down like a dog, and put her down after we get the cure" Will said, as she got out her phone.
Kurama nodded at this, as he looked at Naruto, who was panting and sweating. ["Hang in there kid"] he thought.
P.O.M and Kfbanime87 were in their office, when he who always annoys -
Oi! That's offensive! Deadpool yelled at the two authors
You make it too easy Wade: Kfbanime87 said with a chuckle

Don't mace me, bro! Deadpool yelled, as he ran around the office, with Kfbanime87 running after him, swing the mace as he did

Totally Spies! He's been brainstorming it for months! Deadpool yelled, as he avoided Kfbanime87's swings of his mace
