Kate and Steve finally realise they feel the same way about each other, with a little help from their friends

An idea on how Steve and Kate may be forced to deal with his little problem and how they could overcome it :) I'm a little unsure of the rating due to the topic but have gone for the safe option.

What if Kate had accepted Steve's offer of a take away in 6 x 02. Takes some inspiration from the rest of series 6 but then goes off into AU. My first story in a while

Steve has a really bad day

A police black tie event, a night to remember? Kate has wanted to be with Steve for so long that once it finally happens she doesn't know what to do. Tears and early morning confessions. Can Steve make her see what she has?

Set immediately at the end of Series 6 ep 5. Who was shot? Can Steve get there on time? Can they finally get the top man? Has H finally made a mistake? And is Kate just going to be collateral damage? Nerves are raw as AC-12 try to find the truth and save a friend.

Just when Lindsay thinks life is finally clicking together to get the man she loves, the girlfriend comes by to remind her just how much that it's not going to happen. (Basically a high school AU where Lindsay gets beat up an the gang come to her rescue)

Joanne finds out just how much Lindsay helped to take down her uncle and the OCG and so Jo goes to Lindsay's graveside to thank her for it.

In which Kate and Steve meet for the for the first time while undercover, and lies have a habit of catching up to you. (Pre-S1, Kate-centric)

Jo comes in drunk after a night out with the team and Lindsay looks after her. Based on that one comment that Lindsay and Jo would be girlfriends Pre 2012 and that Jo learned the "I wasn't born yesterday" line after Lindsay said it to her.

Kate finally gets to tell Jo that she wasn't pretending. Set at the start of episode 6 in the car park of Steve's apartment where they soon move on and go upstairs.

Steve fails to appear for a social get together with his loved ones. Fearing the worse, they scramble to find him.

When Steve goes on a date on the other side of the city he doesn't realise who he'd bump into in the same pub.

Kate, Jo and Josh embark on their first family holiday and fears are conquered along the way.

MIT are fundraising and the team go up for auction. Kates true feelings for DCI Davidson come to light.

After Steve is brutally attacked at the AC-12 headquarters, Kate and her MIT team has to investigate to catch the perpetrator.

As much as anyone says their relationship was fake, Steve Arnott did truly have feelings for Lindsay Denton. (High School AU)
