Nina's Pov
After our little um… 'love fest' at breakfast we decided to go to the mall. We walked through the mall, holding hands when we past the food court. Fabian had to go to the bathroom so I said I'd wait by the bench in the middle of the food court for him. I sat waiting for him when a big guy with big muscles, a fake tan, and bleach blond hair walked up to me;
"What are you doing all alone, pretty lady?" he asked with and over confident look on his face
"Waiting for my boyfriend" I said in a monotone voice so that maybe he would back off
He looked around and then looked at me;
"Looks like he's a no-show, why don't you tell me how mad you are at him to make you feel better?" he nodded like he was talking to a five year old
"Get a life, creep!" I yelled
"I'm not a creep, I'm your friend" he smiled with a cheesy look
I got up and slapped him in the face;
"Hey!" he yelled
"I think she asked you to leave her alone" Fabian appeared behind me, looking rather angry
"So let me guess… You're her boyfriend?" Snotty Tan laughed "This" he pointed at Fabian but looked at me "Is what you like? You probably weigh more than him you fat prude!"
"Hey!" Fabian yelled "Don't every talk to her EVER again or I will personally see to it that for the next six months you are breathing through a straw in a full body cast, I'm am going to count to five to let you walk away, don't let me get to five" he gritted through his teeth
"One…" he began, his face red, making Mr. Bleach Blond Idiot start to look kind of scared "two…" Bleach Jerk was gone by the time Fabian said 'three'
Once he was gone Fabian turned to me and said;
"Nina, I am so sorry. I'm never leaving your side again"
With a sympathetic look I told him;
"You don't have to be sorry, I promise, no guy has ever stood up for me like that before" "Come here" I gave him a hug and smiled at him
"When I saw him near you I just, I felt hopeless. I thought you… were cheating on me" I grumbled
"Fabian! I would never cheat on … were cheating on me" I grumbled
"Fabian! I would never cheat on you, ever. I'm too lucky to have you, you have to know that" I stared at him, passionately in the eye
"I told you, why I love you, tell me why you love me" he said curiously
So I told him, in the middle of the food court;
"I love you because you're handsome, and kind. You're the smartest person yet sweetest person I've ever met and you are like this… this beacon of light. You guide me in the right direction, which was toward you. The last relationship I had was with this really jerky guy who cheated on me…" I giggled at was about to say next "I actually wrote a song about it and the girl who stole him from me. It was all about how much I wanted revenge. You on the other hand;" I paused "Your such a passionate person and the most amazing thing I know"
He smiled and looked at me kindly; "Can I hear the song?"
"For you? Anything" I got up on the table in the center of the court and whistled as loud as I could
Everyone's head turned to look at me and I spoke;
"Hi, I promised someone I would do this so please be kind;
"Now go stand in the corner and think about what you did"
