"Guess what?" Chad says to his best friend. He is helping Troy move into his new apartment. They find his high school yearbook.
"What?" Troy asks as they turn to the next page of photos.
"Taylor is engaged to an asshole and has given up her political dreams in favour of his. Sharpay and Tiara are living in London together with 3 dogs. Martha is married with a kid. Ryan and Kelsey are putting on an off-off-Broadway show, having dropped out of Juiliard. You're starring in it. I'm playing pro-ball. Jason built and now drives the most beautiful car you've ever seen. Zeke is a TV chef and Gabriella is a smack addict."
"Funny how things turn out."
"No shit." He throws the yearbook back into a box, though not necessarily the one it came out of. "Hey, Troy, WHAT TEAM?"
"No, Chad. Take that box down to the car."
"WHAT TEAM?"
"Wildcats," Troy mumbles rolling his eyes.
"That's all I wanted."
