*awkward silence* Ummm... Hi? Yea... It's been a month... SORRY!
So, I changed my penname, like I said I would. Yayness? I dunno, you tell me. :) So here's the third chappy of GWTW for you, since the the author said I could use her idea! Thanks to CoronaIgnis for that, by the way!
So. I am sad to say that this might be the only chapter for a LONG TIME. I'm gonna have Oral Surgery on the 9th (That's mouth surgery, for all you uneducated peeps out there!), and then I'm having an EEG on the 15th. Let me explain an EEG: The doctors think I have either Epilepsy or what they call an Organic Tic. To determine which one it is, they put this electric stuff in my scalp and have me chill out for 4-6 hours until I have one of my "Episodes" In which I shudder, almost like a miniature seizure. So I'm gonna be gone for that in a few weeks. Then I have a jazz band concert, and then a choir concert (I have a SOLO! OMGS!), and that'll be about a month. During the summer, I'll be updating nearly every other day, so I'll try to make up for it then.
Me: So. Jack Fenton. Is there something you would like to say to all those lovely people reading this?
Jack: It's a LIE! FUDGE IS GOOD FOR YOU! Don't listen to those doctors, they're LYING!
Me:AHEM! How about the something that I wrote on YOUR HAND?
Jack: Oh! *stares at hand* H8rOfToast8989...doesn't...owe...ow?...own...
Me: OMGS, dude! I DON'T OWN DP! Don't you know how to read?
Jack: Nope. I failed the CAT, remember? But they lied to me. I didn't turn into a cat.
Me: 0.o well. Okay then. On with the story!
recap:
Danny was calm by the time he got to the lab. And he was determined to get the girl calm too. She was obviously scared, and a scared ghost was not on his list to fight. He needed to approach with caution.
When he finally got the glass box opened, she was asleep. Although how she could sleep in that position, he would never know, Danny was glad she was. It would make cleaning her injuries a lot easier. He crept towards the DNA lock, thumb stretched towards the touch screen. The glow surrounded his thumb, scanning the print for matching DNA. When it accepted the Fenton's thumbprint, the girl's bonds let her go - from 15 feet in the air. As quickly as he could, Danny sprinted over to grab her before she hit the ground. And, as he set her on the glass floor, her head stirred.
And blue eyes snapped open.
Senka's head hurt. This wasn't a normal, ow I hit my head on a tree hurt. This was a yikes, I was just tortured to the brink of death hurt. Massive pain flooded her body as she felt herself being set to the ground. She didn't know what woke her up; maybe it was this person picking her up... why was a person picking her up in the first place?
The events of that day swarmed into her mind, confusing her immensely. She was in an alley, and then in a vacuum- thingy...
Crap.
Her eyes snapped open, immediately blinded by bright lights. She was still in the confinement box, with a person hovering over her. Dissection time? She didn't think so. There wasn't an angry curiosity in these eyes, there was more of a. . . concern? For her? Weird.
Then Senka came to her senses and shot up onto her feet. Her head swam with the sudden movement, but she didn't allow herself to get distracted. Her training filled her mind as she surveyed the boy in front of her. His hands were raised in a humanly surrender position, but she noted the placement of his feet. He was giving her a chance to redeem herself, but if she made a sudden movement, he would defend himself. He didn't matter, though; all that mattered was her mission. Her mission was the reason she endured any of this.
Alkimos's words sprung to mind, and she fingered the tattoo on her shoulder. This person has harmed you, or your charge, his voice slid through her conciousness as she scowled at the boy. He must be defeated. View him as you would if he killed your charge.
Her hand snapped to her throat, and pulled a scythe charm from her necklace. Charging it with her ectoenergy, it grew to full size, crackling with energy. She could just see Alkimos's judging face before her as the boy (What did the two older ones call him? Danny? Why was that familiar?) braced himself for a fight. Stunning. Absolutely stunning- his stance was perfect, an exact match for Alkimos. She grinned. This was gonna be fun.
"Take it easy," Danny attempted to soothe, holding his hands out in front of him. He knew what it was like to be in a dangerous place with an unknown person. Still, he couldn't believe that she didn't recognize him. After his battle with Pariah Dark, and his adoption by Pandora, his face was all over the Ghost Zone. He quickly considered, his mind flickering. Finally, he concluded that she didn't recognize his human half. If he turned into Danny Phantom, she would know who he was in an instant.
Nah, he decided after a quick thought. Time to see how this girl fights.
Senka smiled, the sight not at all comforting. "You are but a mere human," she snarled. "You are no threat. You must be destroyed." She stalked forward, backing Danny into the wall.
"Oh, I must?" Danny replied, mock surprise masking his amused face. He sprinted a few steps and leapt over her head, twirling in midair to face her. The look on her face was less anger, more surprise. This human was skilled. He would be a challenge.
"Yes, for you are only standing in my way!" Senka charged him, her scythe ready to strike. Danny rolled out of the way, grabbing a lever and pulling it out of the electical socket. A bo staff, in a way. He blocked her blade, pulling it away from him. Senka aimed for his head, aiming slightly lower than his head truly was. Alkimos's voice drifted into her thoughts once again. Aim low, it said. Hit the lower section of the head.
She aimed and swung, expecting a solid blow. She hit air; Danny, in his panic, had turned intangible. She studied him for a moment before speaking.
"You are...Ghostly?"
