Sync didn't want to believe that people became nothingness when they died. He didn't want to believe that because of how it hurt. People had spirits, and that meant that there had to be something out there after death.
But that wasn't just it; it felt... like there was always someone with him. Someone he couldn't see; a spirit. A spirit that he was all too familiar with; intimate with.
