Kazuma continues his relationship with Megumin after volume 17. That's pretty much it. Just a story where Kazuma and Megumin do nice things together. There's no Aqua and Darkness in this story.

Reality is a piece of sh*t. Though rather than rejecting it, Kazuma accepted it, and handle it the way he sees fit. Looking at the fantastical scenery before him, he wonders. And soon found out, that it was all the same. No, it's even worse. But as he said, he would accept it, and handle it the way he sees fit. Particularly this sin he embodies... and its possessiveness. Gugh!

Instead playing JRPGs, Aqua watched too much mecha anime growing up. Now, the Galactic Federation needs a hero to save them from the Space Devil King (who definitely isn't space Nippo-Hitler with four forms), one is superb at piloting a mecha, as well as brave and true. Instead, they got Kazuma. And to think Aqua and Eris are using their vacation days for this.

Gods, despite their best efforts, were not infallible. Occasionally, one messes up and has to improvise to keep the flow going. Unfortunately, Leo happened to get sucked into one of these Jazz sessions of life. To add insult, Aqua forgot to give Leo an instrument. "Fine, I'll make one myself!"

Kazuma has given up on life once more and has resorted back to being the person he once was before dying, meeting Aqua, becoming an adventurer, and honestly a lot of hardships that got him where he is today. Takes place within the Isekai Quartet universe, something that I wish that was added in the as a story option within , which I hope changes soon, so enjoy.

Kazuma and Aqua are tossed in a much more brutal, unforgiving world where there is no resurrection or second chances. This place functions much less like a game, the character's personalities are more grounded, and our hero meets and brings the original party together in a very different, but much more intimate way, with a lot blood and tears in between.
