A series of 100-500 word drabbles to accompany my rewatch of season 2 of Once Upon a Time as an attempt to finally jump start the muse again. There will be a drabble-either a deleted scene, a "fix it" fic or a character musing for each episode of the season. Focus will be on Emma, Henry, the Charmings and Killian-with an emphasis on the very beginnings of Captain Swan.

Forced to feel ashamed of who she really was, Regina kept her secret to herself, until an incredible blonde girl in a green hoodie walked past her locker one afternoon, causing her heart to skip a beat. Emma was the new kid in school, whose life was about to change forever when a beautiful brunette girl with sparkling brown eyes approached her in the local diner one afternoon.

Hope finds out about her parents and the story of the town. Just as she was calming down from her fight with her parents, Something happens. DISCLAIMER: I do not own any of the characters from OUAT.

Henry & Hope Jones bring home a surprise for Emma & Killian's anniversary in the form of a furry black dog. This is a birthday gift for my friend Jen & features her own dog Bear. I took some liberties with canon by making Hope three years old while Henry is fourteen, by naming Emma's little brother Leo & Graham is alive. Otherwise it is canon compliant. Bear's POV is in italics.

While Henry is eager to break the curse and meet Emma, Regina's daughter is always her first defender and Emma's first critic, for now. This story will follow the same idea and timelines of the show but explores more family moments with Regina, Henry, Emma and OC.
