Sam's POV
I left Ridgeway after i'd helped Gibby clean up the restaurant and count the money.
I made my way to Bushwell to talk to Carly, she's always the first person I talk to when I have a problem...even when she's part of the problem.
...It's not her fault that Freddie still has a crush on her, she can't help it that every guy picks HER!
I got out of the elevator and walked down the hall to apartment 8-C. I opened the doorand walked into the loft.
"Hey Sam" Carly smiled putting her laptop down "Where've you been?"
"I was helping Gibby with something at the restaurant" I replied sitting on the couch next to her.
"What's wrong?" She asked, she always new when something was wrong, even when I didn't say anything...ALWAYS!
"I know that Freddie's still in love with you" I sighed
"We don't know that for sure"
"Please, he's been in love with you since he was 13"
"Yeah...but that was nearly 5 years ago. He's almost 18, I really don't think he has some crush on me anymore"
"Why'd he ask you if it's too late for you to love him?"
She looked down "...You heard that?"
I nodded.
"I don't know..."
"Do you like him like that?" I asked
"No" She answered straight away "Freddie's like my brother, I love him but i'd never date him. I don't love him that way"
That made me feel a little better "...I'm still in love with him" I sighed
"I know"
"How did you know?"
"Well first, if you didn't you wouldn't be freaking out because he possibley has a crush on me and second, I see the way you look at him"
"Really?"
She nodded "And ya know, he looks at you the exact same way"
"I really don't think he feels the same way"
...
Freddie's POV
"So what's all this stuff for?" I asked Spencer as we got in the elevator
"I'm building a giant fork out of small forks" He smiled proudly
"...So that's why you bought 100 packets of plastic forks?"
"Yep"
I rolled my eyes.
The elevator opened and we got out, we walked down the hall to the Shay's apartment.
"Wait!" Spencer said quietly as I went to open the door
"What?"
He pressed his ear up against the door "The girls are talking"
"So...They're girls they always talk"
"It sounds like a serious talk"
"Why'd he ask you if it's too late for you to love him?" I heard Sam say...Oh shit
"...You heard that?" Carly asked
There was silence.
"I don't know..." I heard Carly sigh
"Do you like him like that?" Sam asked
"No" She answered straight away "Freddie's like my brother, I love him but i'd never date him. I don't love him that way"
"...I'm still in love with him" My eyes went wide when I heard Sam say that
"I know"
"How did you know?" Sam asked
"Well first, if you didn't you wouldn't be freaking out because he possibley has a crush on me and second, I see the way you look at him"
"Really?"
She nodded "And ya know, he looks at you the exact same way"
"I really don't think he feels the same way" YES I DO!
"Dude" Spencer said pulling me away from the door "You asked Carly if it was too late for her to love you?"
I nodded.
"Only 2 months after you broke up with Sam, also known as Carly's BEST FRIEND"
I nodded again.
"Not cool"
"I know" I sighed "...I don't think i'm in love with Carly though. I was trying to get over Sam and I just thought I was"
"You know Sam's not good with the whole relationship thing. It took her so long to tell you how she felt because she was scared of getting hurt and you've done exactly that"
"I didn't mean to"
"I know, but you did and you need to fix it"
I nodded before turning around and walking through the front door. Both girls looked at me.
"I gotta go" Sam said getting up
"Sam don't go" Carly said grabbing her arm
"Sorry Carls" She glared at me "I have to" She walked past me and left the apartment
"How much of that did you hear?" Carly asked me
"Enough"
"Go talk to her then"
I walked down the hall to the fire escape, I knew Sam would be there, she always goes there when she's upset.
I saw her sitting on the stairs with her knees against her chest. I climbed out the window and she turned to look at me.
"What do you want?" She asked
"I heard you and Carly talking"
"And you came here to do what? Make fun of me? Laugh at me? Ask for suggestions on how to ask Carly out?"
"I don't want Carly"
"Yeah you do, you've wanted her since the day you first met her"
"I thought I was in love with Carly for a long time. But then I fell in love with someone else and I realized all I felt for Carly was a crush, a stupid childish crush that was never gonna turn into anything"
I saw a tear fall from her eye.
"I thought I was falling for her again, but then I realized I was just trying to get over you. I'm not and I don't think I ever will be over you though"
I walked forward and wrapped my arms around her "I love you" I whispered before placing a soft slow kiss on his lips. I felt her arms go around my neck.
"It's always been you and it always will be you" I whispered when I pulled away, I put my forehead against hers and stared into her big blue eyes "I love you so much Sam"
"I love you too" She said softly "Freddie I need you, I don't wanna be without you anymore"
"I don't wanna be without you either Sam" I whispered placing soft kisses on the side of her neck "God i've missed you so much"
She let out a soft moan as I sucked on the sensitive spot near her collerbone "I've missed you too"
