Chapter 1: New Beginning

Hannah McCall was running for her life, again. All she could hear was her own fast heartbeat and the growling, which wasn't her own. The dark haired girl turned her head, to see behind her hopefully, wanting to know what was chasing her but she couldn't make out anything. Then she was trying to catch her breath, stopping her running for just a second. That is when the red eyes were coming right at her and quickly, she stood frozen for a few seconds. With one breath her legs started running again, putting as much force to get away as possible and her mouth opened, letting out a terrified scream, hoping it would draw attention and some could come and save her before it's too late. At the last instant she saw the log right before her and tripped on it, her body hit the ground hard and knocked her out before she could let out a scream.

Scott was standing near the edge of the cliff that looks down upon Beacon Hills, with Stiles. They watched the lights of houses flicker on in silence, whilst Scott remembered when Hannah and Sophie his twin sisters came to town after their father had died. Hey grew up quickly since then, he noticed, the heartbreak of losing the parent they lived with since their parents' divorced really got to them. He didn't feel as bad, since he hadn't seen his old man since the divorce. Scott could picture Hannah always in trouble and Sophie always... lost since their arrival. Not to add the fact that he sees them in his classes too. It's bad enough that Scott is having problems studying and such since the bite that changed everything, now he has two sisters doing better than he is in each class.

"Scott," Stiles tried to get Scott's attention, but Scott had already moved away focusing on the scream of the sister that always gets in trouble. Hannah. And she's not faking it this time, she sounds terrified. Scott growled deep inside his throat and turned towards the force, he knows exactly where to find his little sister.

"What the hell is happening? Why are we running?" Stiles had started running by Scott as well, but he was a bit too slow for the werewolf best friend of his.

"Hannah is in trouble, again," Scott spoke before he disappeared into the dark forest.

It took the teenager a good ten minutes of running and sniffing to find his little sister, only stopping in front of her unconscious form after he made sure there wasn't any danger to him. Her brown curls were going in every direction but she didn't look in pain. Stiles dropped right by Scott, and the werewolf wondered how the human had kept up with him, but didn't question it. Stiles looked like he had ran for his life with the heavy breathing and Scott could guess that he had felt that way. Stiles was the one who crawled to her side, checked for a pulse and cussed randomly. Scott looked around one last time, trying to find him. He has gone to a whole new level if he thinks he can attack Scott's sister too. Scott saw him fade into the shadows as he walked away with his eyes still glowing red but instead of following after the man, Scott crouched down and picked up his unconscious sister.

Hannah could hear faint voices saying her name, she couldn't tell exactly where they were since it felt like they were far away, but she didn't want to wake up from the beautiful dream as they seemed to want her to. Her dream had Jacob her ex boyfriend, and his strong arms were around her waist, holding her to him as they danced to a slow song she couldn't really recognize or hear that much. Hannah looked into the eyes of Jacob, happy to be there even if she had broken up with him for a reason. That is when he let go of her, one hand raise and he slapped her across the face.

"Stiles! Why did you do that?" Scott's voice rang through her dream, shaking her out of it and finally she woke. Back to reality. Hannah's dark eyes landed on Stiles Stilinski, the idiot, Scott McCall her big brother and Allison Argent, a friend who is really nice even if she's two years older than the wins. They all had the same look in their eyes and she couldn't tell what it was suppose to mean. What she did understand though was that there is someone very important missing. Where's Sophie McCall? Hannah's twin sister?

"Ow! What was that for?" Hannah spoke after a few more seconds of silence from everyone in the room and she hit Stiles too, then her hand rubbed the cheek he had hit so villaintly.

"Sorry, didn't know what else to do," he mumbled as Scott helped Hannah sit up on the small table. Where was she? She had no idea. The place looked like a small cottage, smelt like old wood and metal but she didn't know the place other than that, or where it was. She could see that it didn't have a television or anything electronic, just couches and the table she was sat on.

"Where's Sophie?" Hannah asked Scott turning to look at her brother, while she gave her sore muscles a good stretch. She also noticed that her head didn't her one bit. Nothing did.

"She'll be in soon," Allison answered instead of Scott. Hannah smiled to her friend and gave a nod of her head. She felt like she could run a marathon any minute. Especially if she were under attack again.

Sophie saw Scott bring Hannah to the table in their small hideout. She didn't hesitate, she rushed over and asked what had happened to Hannah this time, but they had no idea. She called Allison, since her background, or family background could probably help with Hannah and there is also the fact that she could calm down Scott more than anyone else.

When Allison did arrive she wasn't alone, of course, Sophie could see a figure behind her friend Allison. As she walked closer she found out it that it was Jackson, Sophie's ex boyfriend. Her temper spiked at the sight of the good looking boy. Their relationship wasn't really the best but he is cute.

"Why is he here?" Sophie asked Allison in a whisper, not wanting to sound rude. She also didn't want to seem like the pitiful ex-girlfriend.

"Well, we were studying when you called. I wasn't going to let Jackson alone in my house," she replied with a little shrug, but Sophie could see the worry in the other girl's dark eyes. Sophie frowned but let it go. It'll be okay. She can do it.

"You could have told him that the study group was over," Sophie tried just in case she could get him to get the hell away, but Allison ignored her comment and just went inside the cottage. Sophie, like the mature girl she is, decided to glare at Jackson before going inside after Allison.

"You can't go running off at night, Hannah," Scott was telling Hannah as Sophie walked into the cottage. Sophie saw how her twin sister flinched away at our brother's werewolf eyes.

"I got a text from you, that said to meet you here," Hannah had replied stubbornly, trying to keep herself from squirming from his stare, and Sophie couldn't help but compare her to a mad chipmunk. The mad look doesn't suit her sister very well.

" I dropped my phone at school," Scott murmured with a frown as he looked at his shoes.

"So who texted Hannah?" Sophie asked, being the first to react to the news. If Scott doesn't have his phone with him, then someone else took it. Sophie walked to the table, and gave a quick hug to her twin.

"I know how to track it! All I need; is Danny, Derek shirtless, a computer and your phone," Stiles exclaimed quickly with a mischief smile on his pink lips. Sophie glanced over at the Stilinski boy, gave him a odd expression before she turned back to the girl on the table.

"You're a evil person," was all that Hannah said with a frown.

"I know, it keeps me up at night," Stiles looked serious enough after saying that, apart for the look in his eyes. Scott gave him a smack behind the head. Poor Stiles.

"Ow! God," Stiles complained.

"Hannah did you see anything?" Scott asked ignoring his suffering best friend.

"No, just red eyes and I also heard growling," Hannah relied looking like she was seeing it again, reliving the moment in her head. Sophie couldn't resist anymore, she gave her sister another hug and held her hand afterwards. Hannah gave her a smile that didn't quite reach her eyes, but it was enough for Sophie. At least for now.

"I knew it was Derek!" Scott spoke suddenly, scaring Sophie in the process. Derek is an Alpha, he also bit Scott and turned him into a werewolf, at least that's what they told her. She doesn't even really know this Derek person that well, apart for one thing and that's that he is Scott's worst enemy. Sophie jumped, again, after Stiles phone started ringing. Sudden noises scare her when she knows about werewolves roaming at night.

"Sorry," he mumbled as he went outside.

"Ouch, what is that?" Hannah was complaining now, she raised the hem of her sweater, revealing smooth skin apart for that one area that has a bite mark. Sophie gasped looking at the mark on her side. He wrapped his jaw around her?

"He bit you!" Scott yelled right before he stormed outside too. Sophie could hear his howling from right where she stood. It caused her to shiver and it got worse when the door swung open again, revealing Stiles as he stumbled in with a heartbroken look on his already pale face.

"What's wrong?" Allison asked speaking for the first time in a long time, Sophie realized. She had almost forgotten about the girl herself. Jackson seemed to appear behind Allison, he looked pale too whilst he watched all of them. Since when has he been standing there? Sophie couldn't tell.

"My dad's in the hospital," Came Stiles broken voice.
