Part 21: And the Winner is…

The fight was still on between the three Zodiac Knights and the monstrous trio. The Knights had politely asked the Titans to stay back and let them handle the situation, until otherwise told.

Cyborg and Beast boy were still dressed as sports commentators and were commenting on every fight. It was pretty damn funny.

"And Draco slices one of Plasmus' hands off with that sword. That has got to hurt!" reported Beast Boy

"Better than pro-wrestlin' mah' little green friend! And look at Overload shooting at Shadowcobra, or Shadowcobras. Damn! One gets hit but another reappears. I wonder where the real one is?" said Cyborg.

Screaming into his microphone, Beast Boy yelled, "And talk about a dog having his day. Pluto is having Cinderblock for lunch. That triple headed hound, Cerberus, has the rocky monster deep in his clutches, I mean, jaws!"

"Isn't there anyway to stop this giant booger?" Draco was swinging his sword around to cut off all of Plasmus' limbs. However, the giant monster regenerated every time. Draco decided to draw another card and insert it into his gauntlet.

"Sword Vent-Red Shark Sword!" He grabbed the other sword and crossed his swords together. The shields on his shoulders were affective in deflecting all of Plasmus' acid, but he had to avoid a head on blast to his face. He instructed his dragon, Dragonzer, to fire another stream of fire. Plasmus countered with a blast of acid and an extended punch to the dragon. Dragonzer fell to the ground, clearly in pain.

"Dragonzer! Why you walking booger, I'm gonna make you pay!" Draco yelled. He jumped to the air with both swords raised.

"FLAMING SWORDS OF THE DRAGON!" he called out his attack and threw blades of fire at Plasmus. Plasmus was having a hard time dodging each flying flame blade and was blocking with his with his slimy arms. His slimy body sizzled and bubbled under the heavy assault. Plasmus roared in pain and in rage. Draco landed on his feet and stood defiantly in front of Plasmus. Dropping his swords, Draco drew a card. The words on top of the card read 'Final Vent'.

Overload was confused as he shot at the army of Shadowcobra clones. The real Shadowcobra was only watching at a distant, invisible to Overload, as the powered up circuit board blasted endlessly, trying to find his real target. Shadowcobra shrugged. This was not the challenge he was looking for. He drew a card from his belt and inserted it into his scepter.

"Swing Vent-Sting Whip." He held the whip behind him and whistled at Overload to get his attention. Overload turned to the purple and black clad knight and ran towards him, crackling with energy. Shadowcobra countered by whipping at Overload's feet, successfully tripping him by wrapping the whip around his legs. Overload fell to the ground, but he wasn't done yet. He blasted Shadowcobra with a stream of energy, but Shadowcobra dodged it. At the same time, Shadowcobra drew a card from his belt and inserted it into his scepter, which was in a holster attached to his belt. "Vampire Vent." The whip he held started crackling with energy. It was actually sucking out Overload's power. Overload was weakening and Shadowcobra drew his card, the Final Vent card.

Pluto was chipping out pieces off Cinderblock with his K-9 Lance. The large broad bladed and long handled weapon was doing little damage to the stone giant. At least Cinderblock was busy trying to dislodge Pluto's faithful three-headed dog, Cerberus. Pluto then decided to end the fight at that moment seeing that his opponent was all brawn but no brains. He drew a card out of his belt and smiled.

"The Final Vent card. Time to finish this," he confidently said as his cape flew behind him, being blown by the wind.

"Lookie, lookie! It seems the Knights have decided to finish this with their Final Vent cards!" Cyborg commented.

"Yeah, Cy! The Final Vent card! A card that enables a Zodiac Knight to execute their finishing move that is often known to be fatal!" Beast Boy explained through his microphone.

"Woah BB! How did you know that?" Cyborg looked surprised at Beast Boy's knowledge.

"I sneaked into Draco's room and looked at his deck when he was in the shower!" Beast Boy proudly said before he clamped his hand over his mouth, realizing what he had just said. "Oops!"

Draco heard this and was yelling at Beast Boy from where he stood. "YOU WERE THE ONE THAT MESSED UP MY ROOM?" Draco roared angrily.

"Idiot," Raven muttered.

"You shouldn't have done that, Beast Boy," Robin muttered.

"Klor-Back Varbler Nelk," Starfire muttered

"Bb," Terra muttered

"You grass stain," muttered Jinx.

"Dudes! It wasn't my fault!" Beast Boy objected, waving his arms wildly.

A loud and sarcastic "Sure…" was his answer.

Draco quickly dropped all his weapons and inserted the card into his dragonhead gauntlet.

"Final Vent!"

Dragonzer encircled him while he went into an elaborate stance. He shouted, "Hah!" before he jumped high up into the air. Dragonzer followed his through the whole thing. Draco then extended his foot and it burst to flames. Dragonzer provided the extra momentum and speed by blasting a powerful stream of flames behind him, sending him flying right at Plasmus.

"DRAGON COMBUSTION KICK! HIYAAAAAHHH!"

Draco's flaming flying kick smashed right through Plasmus.

Plasmus's body blew up, sending slimy chunks of him flying everywhere. Some of it even got on Draco. Draco landed back on his feet and looked at his armor and the rest of the area. Plasmus's slime was everywhere. His only response was, "Gross!"

Slade watched and it appeared he was smiling under his mask, "Very impressive." Copycat scowled, crossed her arms and looked away.
Shadowcobra inserted the card into his scepter and went into a battle pose, "Final Vent." Genosnaker slithered up behind him and hissed. Shadowcobra then jumped up and did a back flip. He was then sent flying, his legs kicking wildly, as a stream of venom and acid, being shot by Genosnaker, followed close behind.

"GENOCIDE CRUSH!"

His venomous kicks slammed the electrical monstrosity repeatedly before sending him flying and smashing him into a wall. At the same time, a fire hydrant burst open, spraying water right at Overload. He short circuited and lost power, turning back into his circuit board form. Shadowcobra walked over to the board and picked it up. Overload only frowned.

Slade watched with keen interest at the way Shadowcobra defeated Overload.
Pluto inserted the card into his sword. "Final Vent." He then took a running start before his cape transformed into bat wings and propelled him into the air. The wings then wrapped around him forming a drill. Cerberus saw this and let go of Cinderblock before impact. The Pluto-drill was spinning and dropping down fast.

"DEADLY IMMORTAL'S DRILL!" Pluto exclaimed. The drilling attack smashed right into Cinderblock causing him to explode with a loud boom. Large rocky chunks of him flew out everywhere and there, in the center of it all stood Pluto, surrounded by a ring of fire. He threw his cape back, allowing the wind to blow through it. He stood proud over the remains of Cinderblock.

Copycat huffed, "Show off."

"Copycat, time for you to watch what a criminal mastermind can do in these situations," Slade said to Copycat.

"Whatever," Copycat said, uninterested.

Slade pushed a button on a remote and pointed it at his monstrous men.

The pieces of Plasmus started moving quickly in one direction. Draco stared, puzzled.

"What the hell?"

Overload was smiling and he crackled with renewed energy. Shadowcobra was shocked by a surge of electricity and let him go. He watched as Overload flew away.

"This is bad," the snake Knight said simply.

Cinderblocks rocky pieces began glowing with green energy and floating in the air.

"This can't be good," Pluto said. Cerberus' three heads barked.

The Knights and the Titans watched as Overload was being covered by the broken pieces of Cinderblock and the living chunks of Plasmus.

Robin stared in horror as Plasmus, Overload and Cinderblock were about to be fused into…

"Ternion…" Robin whispered.
