Part 54: Dinner with Draco's Mom 3

Takada and Leo were still in the middle of their story as Ichijyo groaned. Rachel asked, "You have a sister?" this question was directed to the groaning snake Knight.

"Yes…" he said, still a bit miserable from the story his two friends were telling. The Halloween incident had never left his mind and he hated to be constantly reminded of it.

"Anyway…" Takada was about to continue but was stopped cold. Leo and Ichijyo soon tensed up and stiffened. Their story was interrupted by a too familiar ringing sound. Takada pushed his chair back and stood up, "Um…sorry, but may I be excused?" he asked.

"May I be excused too?" Leo asked, also getting up.

"And me?" Ichijyo silently rejoiced as the story had been interrupted, even if it was a mirror breach.

"Dudes?" Gar asked, "We haven't even ordered the food yet!"

"This is a bit of an emergency," Takada said, stressing.

"You may go," Mrs. Hasuma said excusing them. She knew of the three being Zodiac Knights so she knew what was going on. "I'm sure this is important."

Leo smiled and bowed, "Thank you, Okaasan!" he turned and kissed Jen on the cheek. He whispered, "I'll be back!"

"Be careful," she whispered back, giving him a quick peck on the lips

Ichijyo sent a telepathic message to Rachel. ((Raven, there is a disturbance in the Mirror Dimension. We need to check it out.))

((Okay)) Rachel answered in monotone, but was obviously upset. Ichijyo felt this so he sent her a loving mental embrace through their link. Rachel sighed, feeling his love for her. ((And be careful.))

((Alright, luv.))

Takada led the way as Leo and Ichijyo followed him, running towards the nearest mirrors they could find, which just happened to be in the Men's Room.

They checked to see if there was anyone else inside. Seeing that the coast was clear, Takada, Ichijyo and Leo all stood facing the bathroom mirrors. They then threw their arms out, hands clutching their Zodiac Decks tightly. They all cried out their transformation call in unison.

"ZODIAC FORCE!"

"DRAGON/SNAKE/DOG!"

The trio of energy grids appeared before them, appearing with images of their respective insignias and glowing their corresponding colors. Blue dog for Takada, red dragon for Leo and purple cobra for Ichijyo. The fields swept over their bodies, encasing them in armor. In place of the three teens were the Zodiac Knights; Pluto, Draco and Shadowcobra. They then leapt into the mirrors and appeared into the mirror tunnel where their Knightriders were kept. They entered their vehicles and sped off to meet the disturbance.

The Knightriders leapt out of the mirrors, skidding to a halt before the Knights exited their vehicles. They narrowed their eyes and scanned the area. There didn't seem to be any disturbances. Of course, looks could be deceiving.

Shadowcobra glared at Pluto, "Where are the monsters?"

"Don't look at me," Pluto shot back, "You heard the signal too."

"Guys…" Draco looked around, worried. There was something wrong and he felt it. Suddenly, out of every nook and cranny, appeared a whole swarm of insectoid like monsters that were advancing towards them. There were well over 100 of them. They were Deathroaches (humanoid cockroaches) and they then charged at the Knights from all four corners. The Knights charged head on into the swarm.

Draco punched and slashed at the Deathroaches, his claws stabbing a few in the chest. A few were thrown flying back with a well aimed roundhouse kick "Where's an exterminator when you need one?" He leapt into the air and cracked one of the Deathroaches's skulls with a devastating heel drop kick before recovering to punch another across the face. He drew a card and inserted it into his gauntlet. "Mighty Vent!" His gauntlet charged up with red energy and he fired a grappling claw that impaled a few approaching Deathroaches, killing them. He then withdrew the grappling claw and slammed a Roach behind him with the gauntlet, his fist going right through.

Shadowcobra was doing well on his own. His staff stabbed into a Roach before he slammed one away. His legs swung about, landing kicks that kept them far away from striking distance. He summoned up a shadow claw and slashed a few nearby ones to pieces He drew a card and inserted it into his staff. "Mighty Vent!" The staff charged up with purple energy and he turned himself invisible. The Deathroaches looked around for their pray, only for an invisible force to pierce through their chests, utterly destroying them. Shadowcobra made himself visible again. "Pathetic." He stabbed the tip of his scepter into the head of a Deathroach approaching him from behind before calmly walking back into the skirmish.

Pluto blocked the Deathroaches he was fighting with his cape as a shield and slashed and stabbed with his sword. "What a day to forget the bug spray!" He drew a card and slid it into his sword. "Mighty Vent!" his cape spread out into wings and his sword charged up with blue energy. He flew forward, landing a slash upon the creatures and leaving them dead.

The three Knights fought hard but the Deathroaches fought harder. The trio was then forced back to back.

"There's too many!" Pluto barked.

"Obviously!" Shadowcobra hissed, driving a few approaching Deathroaches with his staff.

"There's no time to argue guys! We have to upgrade!" Draco drew out a card from his belt. Pluto and Shadowcobra followed suit and drew their own cards. Smiles appeared under their helmets.

"SURVIVE!"

"SURVIVE!"

"FUSION VENT!"

Draco and Pluto stood in their Survivor Mode armors. Behind Shadowcobra was Genocide, his composite creature. Pluto and Draco drew their cards and slid them into their readers.

"MIGHTY VENT!"

Their weapons charged up with their corresponding colors. The two separated. Pluto went into the air and dive bombed a few, slashing them to pieces with his charged up sword. Draco was shooting left and right, firing laser blasts into their chests. They fell and turned into dust. Draco commented, "That's gross!"

Shadowcobra held his own with Genocide helping him to fend the remaining swarm off. His back-fisted one towards Genocide and the beast crushed it in its claws.

"FIRE!" Shadowcobra commanded and Genocide fired energy blasts at the Deathroaches, destroying their numbers. Shadowcobra drew out a card and shouted. "FINAL VENT TIME!" he inserted the card into his staff.

Draco and Pluto turned and nodded. They drew their Final Vents and activated them by sliding them into their readers.

"FINAL VENT!"

"SURVIVOR FINAL VENT!"

"DARKHOLE CRASH!"

"DARK TORPEDO!"

"DRAGON METEOR FIRESTORM!"

The attacks impacted, eliminating the remaining Deathroaches until none of them remained. With a tired sigh, Pluto and Draco deactivated their Survivor modes, changing back into their normal armor. Genocide separated into its components: Genocide, Stingdiver and Metalceros.

"Let's get back to the restaurant guys. Okaasan must be worried sick about us," Draco said, walking towards a nearby mirror.

Shadowcobra cracked his neck, "Yes, let's. I fear of what Gar and Vic would try to order. I do not want a Meat VS Tofu debate to escalate in a public place."

Pluto shrugged. "Why not? All that action made me hungry." He added, smirking, "Plus I wanted to finish that story, Shadow."

Shadowcobra stiffened and he turned sharply, glaring daggers at Pluto. "You will do nothing of the sort, mutt!"

"What are you gonna do about it, snake-face?" Pluto challenged cockily.

"I can arrange for you to be neutered, fleabag!" Shadowcobra hissed.

"Go milk yourself, venom breath!" Pluto barked.

"That didn't even make sense!"

"Well, neither do you!"

Draco slapped his faceplate and groaned. With a sigh he went back to his bickering friends and dragged them by their collars into the nearest portal. They were going to go back even if Draco had to drag them kicking and screaming. "Will you guys stop?" Draco begged.

They leapt out of the mirror together and their armors disappeared. As they exited the restroom, they knew something was amiss.

"Something is terribly wrong…" Ichijyo hissed silently as his eyes darted.

"I feel it too," agreed Leo.

Takada sniffed the air, "Something doesn't smell right literally."

They went to investigate and were shocked to see everyone unconscious. A strange ball rolled in front of Leo and he picked it up. He inspected it, but wasn't able to tell what it was. He asked Takada, "Takada, what's this?"

Pluto answered, "A knockout gas bomb!" he gasped.

Leo and Ichijyo gasped and turned towards each other. "The others!" the trio quickly ran towards the table and saw all their friends were unconscious. Leo immediately went to Jen and picked her up gently from the floor.

"Jen!" he shook her gently, "Wake up!" Jen began to stir and slowly opened up her eyes.

"Leo…?" Jen said, a bit dazed and confused.

"What happened?" Leo asked.

Jen rubbed her eyes, "Don't know. A waiter came to take our order and then everything went blank."

Ichijyo checked up on the other Titans. They were all clearly knocked out and weren't going to wake up soon. Rachel was unconscious in her chair while Gar had drool trailing out of his mouth. Vic's face was flat on the table with Sarah leaning against his shoulder. Kori and Tim's head were rested against each other. Terra was unconscious with a breadstick in her mouth.

Takada counted every one. He then spoke, "We're missing one person."

Leo eyes widened. "Guys, where's Okaasan?"
