Chromedragozoid: If you think I'll leave you hanging, think again! I will continue the Halloween incident after this chapter for the sake of my readers/reviewers. Let's just say that it was all Ichijyo's fault, believe it or not.

Part 55: Rescuing Draco's Mom (Originally Dinner with Draco's Mom 4)

A lot of things scared Leo, but this tops it all. His mother was missing and he didn't know where she was.

"Guys, where's Okaasan?" were his words after finding the whole restaurant knocked out and his mother missing.

You see, after Leo's father passed on, his mother has always been there for him. No matter how busy she was or how cramped her schedule was, she always made the time to be with her son. She stood by his side after his powers manifested and gave him her blessings when he became a Zodiac Knight. In other words, Leo and his mother were close. He wasn't really a momma's boy, but he had lost his father and was not thrilled of the idea of losing his mother. He didn't want to lose her. Sure she had an annoying habit of videotaping him and a bit overprotective by having bodyguards near and not to mention making his whole wardrobe and making him try out new clothes, but besides all that, she was a loving and responsible mother and the one who raised and nurtured Leo all on her own, enabling for him to possess a moral code, which he carries with him to this day.

Jen noticed a small folded up piece of paper and picked it up. She showed it to Leo, "Leo, take a look," she said.

Leo, still shaken, took the paper from his girlfriend's hand and unfolded it. His eyes widened as he read it. His eyes narrowed and he crumpled the piece of paper in his hand. Jen was taken back by the expression of unbridled anger on Leo's face and it scared her. She has never seen him this angry before, at least, not without his helmet. That helmet was a mask that concealed his emotions. Only his voice spoke volume. He handed the crumpled up piece of paper to Ichijyo and slowly stalked to the restaurant doors.

"What's going on?" Takada asked.

Ichijyo un-crumpled the piece of paper and read it. It wasn't exactly a ransom note but more like a warning letter.

To those who this may concern

I have kidnapped this woman for my own fiendish scheme. Do not attempt to call the police or the Titans or else I will do something that you do not want me to do my duckies.

Signed: M.M

Takada and Jen read the letter over Ichijyo's shoulder and both of them immediately ran to Leo. Takada stopped him by placing a hand on his shoulder.

"Let go, Takada-sempai," Leo asked, growling with anger, without turning.

"Leo-kun," Takada said. "We can't rush into this without a plan. We don't know who took her and where."

"I do," answered Jen. Leo and Takada turned. "Mad Mod."

"Mad Mod?" Takada raised an eyebrow. "Who's he?"

"Just a joke of a super villain who once tried to brainwash the Titans and then tried to take over the country by brainwashing Jump City into thinking it was still under British rule," Jen explained.

"A disgruntled Englishman," Ichijyo said as he made his way to the three. "Now I've heard everything."

"But don't underestimate him though. He has some freaky brainwashing equipment, robots and a lot of machines that create illusions. He's actually an old geezer, but his cane can absorb a person's youth. He did it to Robin but Robin already broke his cane in half. It's safe to say he's still an old geezer," Jen continued.

Leo, who was silent during the whole explanation said, "Old geezer or not, he's gonna pay for taking Okaasan," he slammed his fist into his open palm.

"Shouldn't we wait till the other's wake up?" Takada asked.

"No," Leo said firmly, "Mad Mod has my mom, it's personal." He narrowed his eyes.

"Then, let us help then," Jen offered.

"I told you this is personal and I have to do this on my own," he told her. "It's my mother we're talking about here."

"If you haven't been paying attention, it's because she's your mom that we're helping," Takada told him, "I know what it's like to almost lose a mother and to fear for her life."

"As much as I hate to admit it, the mutt is right," Ichijyo said, earning a glare from the 'mutt'. "We're your friends, allies and partners. You brought us together and we helped each other since then." He stuck out his hand, "One for all and all for one, remember? You made that quote after the Three Musketeers incident."

Jen giggled. "Mrs. Hasuma told me about that. Really cute and surreal!"

The three Knights blushed as they remembered that incident.

Leo calmed down and sighed. "Right." He placed his hand on top of Ichijyo's followed by Takada placing his hand on Leo's. "All for one and one for all to the end, right guys?" the blue dog Knight and the purple cobra Knight smiled at the red dragon Knight. Jen also placed a hand on top.

"Don't forget about me!" Jen said confidently. "I'm gonna help save her too. She called me her future daughter in law!" Jen blushed, "I can't believe I blurted that out."

Leo scratched the side of his nose and blushed. He stammered, "R…right."

"Let's do this," Takada said.

"Let's go!" Leo said, leading him and his team out.

The Team: Draco, Pluto, Shadowcobra and Jinx.

The four went outside and Leo's mother's limo was still parked outside. Perfect. The bodyguards were unconscious in the car. They must have been knocked out earlier. Leo went to the boot and slammed his fist on it. It popped open and he lifted the top up.

"What are you doing, Leo-san?" asked Ichijyo.

"My mother called me awhile back about a special project," Leo answered, taking out three boxes. The boxes held the symbols of the dragon, snake and dog Knights.

Takada opened the box with his symbol and gasped. "No way."

Ichijyo's eyes widened as well. "Impressive," he smirked.

Leo turned to Jen and shrugged nervously, "Sorry that we don't have your uniform, Jinx."

Jen's eyes flashed pink and she smirked. "I'm a witch remember?" she recited a spell and her pink hex energy swirled around her, replacing her dress with her more gothic looking black and indigo dress. Her hair was also done up into the twin pigtails tied firmly with black hair scrunchies. She grinned. "Ready to score some bad luck."

Leo turned to his two friends. "Let's suit up, guys."

"But," Takada began, "How are we going to find your mom?"

Leo tapped his head, "Okaasan and I have a mental link. I can sense her."

"Figures," Ichijyo rolled his eyes. "You may not be a telepath, my friend, but a bond like that can still be built, yes?"

Leo closed his eyes and concentrated, "Come on…come on…GOT IT!" His eyes slammed open. "I know where Okaasan is."

"Then let's move!" Jinx shouted excitedly.

"Mad Mod won't know what hit him," Takada smiled confidently.

Mad Mod was an old geezer. At least he should be. Right now he was a man in his early thirties with tomato red hair stylized like the Beatles. He was dressed in psychedelic clothes, ranging from white pants and a blue coat with the design of the British flag on it. He was also twirling a cane in his hand.

"Now, my dear, will you make Moddie the clothes he wants?" he leaned over his prisoner, condescendingly, using his cane to keep his balance.

"Let me think," his prisoner said, without fear, "How about NO!" Mrs. Hasuma was tied to a chair and smiled as Mad Mod howled with anger.

"Why not?" he shouted.

"You want the long or short list?" she smirked like a smart aleck. "For one, the designs you showed me were atrocious! I will never ever mass produce it for you! It's also not my style! My designs are meant to bring out the inner beauty."

Mad Mod grabbed his head and nearly tore his hair out in frustration. He hopped angrily in front of his prisoner and his teeth were gritted, seething with anger. He could torture her, but it wasn't his style. He was still a gentleman. He went to a table and poured himself a cup of tea before taking a sip to calm his nerves. Rubbing his temples, he fixed his glasses.

"Okay, he said calmly. "Let's try this again. Make my clothes or else."

"Or else what?"

"Or else…or else…" he stuttered, "ARRRRRGGGHHH!" he shouted. "You are supposed to be begging to be released and be afraid of me and follow my demands! What is wrong with you?"

"Long story short: I've been kidnapped too many times already and I got used to it. I always got rescued as well," Mrs. Hasuma answered casually. If she could, she would flick her hair, taunting him. However, since her hands were tied down, all she could do was give him a confident smirk.

Mad Mod's eyebrows furrowed in annoyance before a light bulb lit up in his head. He rubbed his hands together and grinned, chuckling as well. Why didn't he think of it before? His Hypnoscreens! "Well now, I have ways of making you agree." He took out a remote from his coat and pressed a button. A TV screen slowly descended from the ceiling and fell in front of Mrs. Hasuma's face. The Hypnoscreen began showing the all too familiar swirling patterns that hypnotized so many. Mrs. Hasuma attempted to avert her eyes, but the patterns were…alluring…seductive and strangely…attractive. Her eyes were soon glued onto the screen as she was slowly mesmerized.

"Now then, are you going to follow my every command?" Mad Mod asked, smirking.

"Yes, master," Mrs. Hasuma answered.

"Well then," Mad Mod leaned so that his face was in front of hers. "Will you do everything I say?"

She nodded.

Mad Mod looked her over. She may be in her forties but she was still an attractive woman without any signs of wrinkles or graying hair. Smirking, he said, "Alright, kiss me." He puckered his lips, attempting to do what he had asked.

"GET THE HELL AWAY FROM OKAASAN!"

Mad Mod was sent flying back by a punch right in the kisser. He slammed against the wall and slid down. Some of his teeth were knocked out as well. He looked up to see his assailant.

His assailant was a teenager. Typical. He was dressed in a black bodysuit with a red dragon insignia on his chest. He also wore elbow length gloves and knee high boots. The gloves were black up to the wrist and red from his wrists to his elbows. His boots were also the same, black up to the ankles and red from the ankles to the knees. His red hair was long and messy with a pair of lightning bolt bangs. He wore a red mask. Around his neck was a red scarf that reached down to his ankles.

"Get your filthy hands off my mother!" he shouted. Saying that may had revealed his identity, but he did not care. At least Shadowcobra could fix that by doing a little memory manipulation.

"How?" Mad Mod asked, confused. How did this costumed youth find his hideout? Better yet, how did he get in undetected? He did not look like one of the regular Titans. He must be one of the new ones.

"How we found this place?" a new voice continued his question.

"It was actually easy, really," said another voice.

The owners of the voices stood behind him and crossed their arms. They were dressed almost identical to Mad Mod's first intruder but also a little different. The taller one's hair was spiked up and brown. His gloves, boots, scarf and mask were blue and on his chest was a symbol that looked like a dog. Next to him, his partner, his hair was dark blue and came down to his shoulders. His gloves, boots, mask and scarf were purple and on his chest was a purple cobra symbol.

"Who…who?" he stuttered.

The one in black and red answered first, "I am Draco."

The one in black and blue answered second, "I am Pluto."

The one in black and purple answered last, "I am Shadowcobra."

Mad Mod scrambled away and looked between the three intruders. "How did you bloody find my hideout!" he shouted.

"A blimp with a Union Jack on it? It was a total eyesore and it attracted too much attention," Shadowcobra answered calmly.

"A bit obvious, wouldn't you say?" Pluto added, snickering.

Draco untied his mother and took her out of the chair. He then blasted the hypnoscreen to bits. Mrs. Hasuma shook her head, confusion reigning.

"Where am I?" she asked, confused.

"Don't worry, Okaasan. You are safe now," said her rescuer and son.

"Ryuki?" she said, looking him up and down. She smiled. "You wore the suit! You don't know how happy that makes me!"

"Can we talk about this later, Okaasan? Now we have to bail."

"Not yet!" Mrs. Hasuma took out a camera and quickly took a snapshot of her son in uniform. Draco groaned.

"Okaasan…" he said, embarrassed.

"Just a small souvenir, really," she smiled at him.

Mad Mod shouted, "You will not stop me!" he shouted, pressing the ruby on his cane. Suddenly, 2 dozen robots dressed up as British palace guards rose up from the floor. Their chest panels slid open to reveal Hypnoscreens. The three Knights were now under the full onslaught of hypnosis.

"Can't look away," Draco struggled.

"Must fight…" Pluto growled.

"Too strong," Shadowcobra hissed.

Mad Mod smiled triumphantly. However, he didn't realize that he was being watched the whole time from the shadows. A black shape suddenly dropped from the ceiling and attacked the robots. They each fell as their circuitry was being ripped out by a black blur.

Mad Mod's eyes darted around. All of his robots had been in disabled. The Knights began to stir. "WHO DARES?" This was the last straw and the disgruntled red headed Englishman was now piping mad.

"Me!" snarled and purred a voice. The latest interloper was a girl with black hair as long as the first and dressed in a tight fitting black bodysuit with matching clawed gloves and boots. On her chest was pink symbol that looked like a cat. A pink mask adorned her face and around her neck was a pink scarf. On her head was black bow ribbon. She sneered at Mad Mod dangerously.

"You're next!" she pointed.

"Kat?" Draco asked. What was she doing here?

"Neko?" Mrs. Hasuma asked, also confused.

"Hi mama!" Copycat turned, smiling at her mother and then she scowled at her brother. "How could you let her get kidnapped?"

"I was busy!" Leo shot back.

"With what, making out with your girlfriend?"

"Can we please focus here?" Shadowcobra interrupted the squabbling twins. "We have a criminal to handle here, remember?"

"That's right!" she snarled at Mod. "Nobody kidnaps my mother and gets away with it!"

"My sentiments exactly," Draco smiled. "Okaasan, you should stand back. This won't be pretty."

The four Knights advanced on Mad Mod but the deranged Englishman pressed another button on his remote. Chairs suddenly sprouted out behind the four, tripping them, causing them to sit down. "Sit down kiddies!" he cackled. The shackles on the armrests and legs clamped down on the heroes wrist and ankles. "And don't think of using whatever powers you have! It won't help!"

"Really?" challenged Draco. He attempted to flame up but he felt nothing. "What?"

"These restraints!" Shadowcobra discovered. "They're power dampeners!"

"Aren't we a smart little boy?" Mad Mod grinned.

Copycat snarled and hissed at him while Pluto continued to try breaking himself out of the chair he was in without any success.

"Now what shall I do with naughty kids like you? I know!" he pressed a button and electricity surged through them. They screamed.

"How do you like that, duckies? That will teach you t-ARRRRGGGGGGHHHHH!" Mad Mod was suddenly zapped by yellow lightning and was promptly knocked out, his body smoking.

"NOBODY HURTS MY BABIES!" Mrs. Hasuma shrieked, lightning crackling around her hands.

Both Draco and Copycat groaned as their mother had called them her babies.

"Woah," Takada whistle, impressed.

"Your mother has powers?" Shadowcobra asked, surprised.

"It sorta runs in the family," Draco admitted sheepishly. Copycat nodded in agreement.

Mrs. Hasuma smashed the remote under her feet before breaking the cane over her knee. Mad Mod reverted to an old geezer.

After the Knights were freed, Copycat quickly hugged her mother.

"Mama!" she said happily.

"Oh, my little kitten!" Mrs. Hasuma said happily. "It is good for you to come and rescue me!"

Draco looked at his twin suspiciously but sighed and calmed down. He tapped Copycat on the shoulder and she turned.

"Thanks," he extended his hand to shake. However, she did not take his hand but instead hugged him. She whispered, "This is a truce. After mama leaves, we are enemies again, understand?"

Draco nodded and whispered, "Yes." He hugged her back and let her go.

"Hate to spoil the family reunion guys, but how are we gonna land this thing?" asked Pluto.

"I am also wondering that as well," Shadowcobra said, after tying up Mad Mod.

"Got that covered," Draco said, taking out a T-Com. He called, "Jinx, how's it going?"

Jinx's face appeared on the small view screen. She gave him a thumb's up. "This thing is ready to turn back around and land." She blew him a kiss. Draco blushed. Mrs. Hasuma looked over his shoulder and smiled.

"Hello, Jen," she said. Jinx faltered.

"H…how?" Jinx stuttered, shocked.

"How did I figure it out? I just put two and two together and I also subscribe to Jump City's Daily Journal after hearing about the Knights joining the Titans," she smiled knowingly.

"So you know about the Titans?" Draco asked his mother. She nodded.

"So much for keeping secrets," Jinx said.

"We are in so much trouble," Pluto sighed.

"Let's just get back to the restaurant, alright?" Shadowcobra rubbed his temples. "We'll tell the others when the time is right."

Draco looked around, "Where's Kat?"

Pluto and Shadowcobra eyes also looked around. Pluto swore, "Damn! She disappeared, again!"

Mrs. Hasuma scolded, "Watch your language!"

"Gomen…" Pluto then perked up, "Hey, I haven't finished my story!"

"Don't you dare!" Shadowcobra hissed.

To Be Continued…

Next up: Don't worry, they get back to dinner and the story continues. See what Ichijyo did. It's totally whacked!
