Part 74: Desperately Seeking Titans
Blackfire's POV:
I was finally at Titans Tower! Since that incident, I thought it would be much safer if I found a place to stay before I went to see Koriand'r. I also got myself a job at a shop called 'Hot Topic' or something. The manager took one look at me and offered me a job right at the spot. It must have been my black and silver outfit or something.
I still couldn't get my mind off that armored man. He saved my life and I owed him. Too bad I didn't know who he was though.
I sighed.
Now was not the time to think about those kinds of things Komand'r! The first thing you have to do is to apologize to Koriand'r!
But where to begin?
I'm not too sure the Titans would welcome me into their home after the last two times they encountered me. Of course, would you actually forgive someone who tried to frame her own sister, then get her married to a walking pile of green crap?
I knocked on the door. At least I had the courage to come here. X'Hal! Please give me strength! I knocked on the door but there was no answer. Infuriated, I knocked again and again. I ripped the door off its hinges because I had lost my patience. I dropped it in embarrassment and laughed nervously. Walking in and going up the elevator to the living room, I decided to check if everything was OK
Gizmo's POV:
So Jinx was staying at Titans Tower now. Figures that she's in love with another Titan. We thought that she had gone after Cyborg, but instead, she went after that dragon guy. At least he wasn't so bad. He did save my life from that chameleon thing.
Anyway, Mammoth and I were standing in front of Titans Tower, carrying the rest of Jinx's stuff (junk). She asked us to move this stuff out of her old room in the HIVE. Being a super genius, I should know all the answers, but one thing always puzzles me: Why do girls have so much stuff?
We thought we'd be delivering her spell books and potions, but she also asked us to bring her clothes and other girlie junk.
Mammoth maybe strong, but even he has limits.
We decided to break in, drop off the stuff, then break out without any of the Titans noticing. However, there was no one in the Tower. Jinx must've went on another mission or gone out on a joyride with her new friends. I was mad at her for ditching us, but she promised that we would always be friends.
I'm such a sucker for that girl.
No, I am not in love with Jinx, she's just my best friend.
But my reaction towards her infatuation with Stone/Cyborg sorta proves otherwise.
Going up the elevator with Jinx's stuff, we suddenly heard a voice calling, "Koriand'r!" I don't really remember anyone named Koriand'r living in Titans Tower, so we decided to investigate. Mammoth dropped off Jinx's stuff at the door of the elevator as we went to see what was going on.
Mammoth's POV:
Jinx wanted us to bring her stuff. I was the one carrying it while Gizmo just barked orders. If my hands weren't already full, I'd crush that little midget in my bare hands.
Anyway, Gizmo thought he heard something so he told me to drop Jinx's stuff and go investigate. Too bad I dropped it a little too hard and made a noise.
Blackfire's POV:
I thought I heard something. Maybe they're back. It sounded heavy so it had to be Cyborg's feet. I went to the elevator and saw…a giant hairy thing and a midget.
Normal POV:
"Who the Hell are you?" both parties asked.
Blackfire introduced herself, "I am princess Komand'r of Tamaran, sister of Koriand'r of Tamaran, otherwise known as Starfire. You can call me Blackfire!"
"Name's Gizmo," Gizmo introduced himself
"I am Mammoth," Mammoth nodded.
"We're friends of Jinx. We came to deliver some stuff to her!"
"Have you seen Starfire?" Blackfire asked.
"Nuh uh!" Gizmo shook his head, "And I suppose you haven't seen Jinx anywhere, huh?" Blackfire shook her head. "Didn't think so."
Mammoth noticed something on the huge TV screen. "Maybe that's where they are." Mammoth pointed.
They all stared up at the screen.
"The Black Clown?"
