Part 83: Family Reunions, Catfights and Forgiveness

Before Blackfire could say anything and even before Robin could say "Titans GO!" Starfire was already all over her sister, and not in a pleasant way.

Starfire's eyes glowed green with fury as she lunged at the shocked Blackfire.

"Koriand'r! Wait!" Blackfire shouted.

"Heeyah!" Starfire landed a powerful kick to the side of Blackfire's face sending her flying into some trees.

Blackfire rubbed her sore cheek. "Ouch! Star's stronger than I remembered." A green starbolt exploded in front of her. "Hey!"

"Sister! You dare return after the pain you've caused!" Starfire yelled as she blasted Blackfire with Starbolts and eyebeams. Blackfire kept dodging the blasts and flew up into the air to meet up with her sister.

"Okay, so I made a few mistakes," Blackfire said, smiling nervously. This only infuriated Starfire before she blasted her with her Starbolts. Blackfire flew out of the way. Though it was against her best interest, Blackfire had to defend herself. So, she countered with her own violet Starbolts and eyebeams.

Meanwhile, the Titans were still on the ground and watching the fight with both confusion and awe.

"Um, who's she?" Terra asked, pointing, or at least trying, at Blackfire.

"Blackfire, Starfire's sis, tried to frame her and then make her marry a big giant green crap thingy," answered Beast Boy. "Star then banished her from their home planet and we haven't seen her since, until now."

"Didn't know she had a sister," Jinx added.

"Neither did I," said Draco.

Pluto added in his two cents, "She looks familiar."

Starfire attempted to punch Blackfire in the face only to have it grabbed in the latter's hand. Blackfire tried landing her own punch only to have it grabbed by Starfire.

"Let me go, please!" Starfire pleaded.

"Not until you listen, sis!" Blackfire said. She didn't want to do this. She hated to do this. But there was no other way to get Starfire to listen beside tiring her out.

Starifire, still enraged, screamed and then went into a nosedive, taking Blackfire with her. They both landed in the shallow end of the mirror, the muddy end. Now covered in mud, the two Tamaranian princesses attempted to (mud) wrestle each other into submission.

The Titans had followed the nose dive and found the sisters fighting.

The boys stared at the two and drooled.

(Author's notes: Two sexy girls mud wrestling would do that)

"Woah!" Beast Boy said, wiping the drool of his mouth. "Better than pro-wrestling." He earned a slap from Terra in the back of his head for that comment.

"Starfire," Robin said, surprised yet aroused at the scene.

Cyborg took out some binoculars to get a closer look. Pluto tried to pry them away from Cyborg. Both of them kept whistling and hooting.

Draco had been watching, but was being pulled by the ear by an agitated Jinx. Jinx had a cross vein popping on the side of her head.

Shadowcobra tried to ignore the scene, but he still couldn't ignore the sound the sisters made as they attempted to grab at each other with their slippery, mud covered, hands. He had to cover his ears and close his eyes. However, he was still peaking with one eye opened.

The wrestling match soon moved into the river. The rushing water rinsed the mud off and left the sisters wet. Some hair clung to Starfire's brow while the rest clung to her back. The same was to be said about Blackfire.

Their wet clothes clung to their bodies like a second skin, arousing the boys much more.

Starfire yelled, swearing in Tamaranian, slapping her sister.

"Starfire! Listen!" Blackfire tried, only to be pushed into the water, headfirst.

"No!" Starfire said, still pushing on her sister, "I shall not listen to any more of your lies, sister!"

Blackfire pushed herself up and slammed the back of her head into Starfire's face. Starfire staggered back. She opened her eyes and then saw Blackfire's hands around her neck. Starfire cringed, thinking Blackfire was about to strangle her. Robin saw this and started to take out his Bo staff. Before he was able to yell out his signature battle cry, he realized what Blackfire was attempting. Blackfire's arms slipped around Starfire's neck and she rested her chin on the redhead's shoulder.

"I'm sorry, Koriand'r," Blackfire said. Starfire gasped when she felt tears on her shoulders. She pushed Blackfire back slightly and then saw tears running down her flushed cheeks.

"What?" Starfire asked, puzzled.

"I said I'm sorry, Starfire," she repeated. "Koriand'r. I'm sorry for everything I did to you," she cried again.

"Starfire, it could be a trick," Robin warned.

"It's not," Shadowcobra insisted. "She's telling the truth, at least, her emotions are."

The Titans stared at the empathic snake knight and then back at the Tamaranian sisters.

"I know you won't ever forgive me. But-" Blackfire hiccupped before she could finish her sentence.

"I forgive you, sister," Blackfire's violet eyes stared back at Starfire's green ones. Starfire flashed her a brilliant smile. Star was so forgiving. "And I love you."

"I love you too, little sister," Blackfire said as tears of joy flowed from her eyes.

The others watched with amazement before Starfire's arms slipped around her sister's waist…

To administer her patented Starfire Bone-Crushing-Bear-Hug-of-Death! Blackfire gritted her teeth in a forced smile as Starfire hugged her. It was supposed to be a gentle hug, but in Starfire's case that was gentle.

"You can let go now!" Blackfire rasped out, trying to breath. Starfire let go and then led her sister to the others.

"Friends!" Starfire started, "I have finally reconciled with my sister and new friends," her attention turned to Jinx, Terra, Draco, Shadowcobra and Pluto, "I would like you to meet my sister, Blackfire of Tamaran!" she said this with a huge smile.

"Um…" Terra didn't know what to do, so she waved. "Name's Terra."

"Hi," Jinx smiled. "I'm Jinx."

"What's up?" Draco said. "Draco here."

Shadowcobra only nodded at her, his cold eyes focused on her and with a frown on his face. "Shadowcobra"

Pluto's eyes widened with realization. "Hey! Now I remember!" he pointed his finger at Blackfire. "You're that girl I saved from the monster that night!"

"It's rude to point, you know," Shadowcobra reminded him

Blacfire eyes widened at well. "You were that armored man?" she said with disbelief.

"Yeah," Pluto said, "Name's Pluto, by the way."

Blackfire walked towards him and snaked her arms around his neck. "Then here's your reward." She pulled him towards her and then planted her lips on his. The Titans stared wide eyed at them as large exclamation marks formed on top of their heads.

Pluto's face had turned red and steam was flowing out of his ears. After Blackfrie broke away, his eyes turned into heart shapes as his tongue hung out.

"Gaah…" he said dumbly, still swaying around. Blackfire giggled.

"Sister," Starfire started, obviously surprised by her sister's action.

"What?" she asked, nonchalantly. "Isn't it traditional to give a Knight a kiss from the damsel he saved?"

"That only happens in fairytales," Shadowcobra told her. His eyes were now focused on the half conscious Pluto. "Should someone please wake him up? His drool is quite unsightly!"

After waking up Pluto, the Titans and Blackfire went back to camp where Blackfire would tell them how she got there. Robin still didn't fully trust her, but now wasn't the time to fight.

"So Gizmo built me a helmet and hooked me up to the big computer," Blackfire concluded.

"He did?" Cyborg said, skeptical of her words. Mammoth and Gizmo came to help? Unbelievable.

"I don't believe it," Raven added.

"What's not to believe?" Jinx said. "They are my friends, so it's natural for them to come and rescue me. Plus," Jinx pulled at Draco, forcing him to sit closer to her. "Draco's their friend too."

All the original Titans took this in and decided that it all made sense even when it didn't.

Suddenly, a new voice came from above.

"Found you!" Squawking followed. The Titans looked up to see a man clad in brown and black body armor, golden boots and gauntlets as well as a rooster helmet hovering over them.

"Dagger!" Draco identified him.
