Part 97 Copycat's Intervention

Shadowcobra inserted the card into his scepter. "Final Vent." Genosnaker came slithering behind him as he ran forward with his upper body bent forward and his arms spread to his side. He then jumped up and did a back flip before Genosnaker catapulted him forward in a stream of venom and acid. Shadowcobra exclaimed, "GENOCIDE CRUSH!" and started kicking wildly as he made his attack.

However, the kicks never made contact.

"Add Vent!" a female voice said, which surprised the Knights who were present. Suddenly, a panther humanoid with bio-mechanical parts, came flying out of no where and snagged Shadowcobra out of mid-air and mid-kick with its large claws. Shadowcobra struggled to get out of the monster's grasp but it was to no avail. "Let me go! Unhand me!" he demanded, "I have to do this! I have to save Raven!" he yelled with fury.

"You and I both no that there is more than one way to skin a cat, Shadow," the mysterious interloper walked out of the shadows to reveal…

"COPYCAT?" Draco exclaimed.

"In the flesh," Copycat bowed and did curtseying motions with her arms.

Despite his injuries, Draco ran towards Copycat and asked, "What the Hell are you doing here?"

"Can't I grace you all with my beautiful presence?" she said mockingly

Pluto got up and limped towards her and glared, "The last few times you graced us with your presence you either got us landed in the hospital or nearly killed us. Now tell us, what it is you want?"

Copycat huffed ad placed her hands to her hips, "Believe it or not, Dog Knight, I want to help you."

Pluto laughed, "Yeah right!"

Draco cleared his throat, drawing their attention. He spoke, "I think we should listen to her, Takada."

Copycat raised an eyebrow under her helmet and Pluto's mouth about dropped. "WHAT?" he exclaimed. "Don't you remember how she tricked us and tried to kill us countless times!"

Draco nodded and said, "I do. But no matter what she's still my sister and family have to trust each other, even if it's evil."

Pluto warned, "It's your funeral, Leo."

Copycat turned around and whistled to her monster. "Techno Panther! You can let go of him now!" The monster obeyed and released Shadowcobra from its claws, only to have him running forwards to attack its mistress.

"I don't think so." Copycat drew her whip and made a sharp turn. With a swing of her arm, she lashed her whip out and tied it around Shadowcobra's legs and tripping him. She advised, "You should really learn to take care of that temper there Snake Boy. It could get you into trouble." Shadowcobra hissed at her.

"Wait! The Gamemasters have us all monitored. If they find out you're here, they might hurt the Titans," Draco pointed out.

"Already taken care off," Copycat pointed to the ceiling, "I scramble all of the cameras and any surveillance equipment with a little virus I smuggled in. They haven't seen anything since Shadow went into Final Vent mode," she explained.

"Get the picture back up!" Toros ordered. There was nothing but static on all the viewing screens.

"I can't" said Mad Mod, "A virus be messing with me equipment!" Toros hauled him by the collar and growled.

"Fix it now!" Toros yelled.

"Yeah, we're missing the best part!" Dagger added.

"I want to see that no good snake destroy his friends!" Vermin finished.

Astra was quiet and narrowed her eyes at the blank screen. Something was wrong and she knew it.

"Give us one good reason why we should trust you?" Pluto demanded.

"Because I want to be the one to destroy you," Copycat answered without missing a beat.

"That's not a good reason!" he retorted.

"Would you rather that I lied?" Copycat asked innocently.

"She's got a point Takada," Draco told him.

"Fine," Pluto said, "You talk to her."

"Okay," Draco paused, "So the only reason you want to help us, Kat, is so that you can destroy us yourself?"

"Actually, it's you I want to destroy, dear brother! I don't really care about the dog here!" she answered.

"Hey!" Pluto exclaimed, "Am I not good enough for you?"

"We do not need this!" Shadowcobra interrupted, "Nor do we need her help! We're wasting time here while the Titans are still in danger."

"So what's your bright idea?" Copycat retorted with a sneer, "Kill each other and hope the Gamemasters let them go. Yeah right! They would most likely kill you at your weakest and do what they will with the Titans."

"I can defeat them," Shadowcobra hissed, "They are no match for me."

"But this is their world and the odds are in their favor." Copycat pointed out.

"So what do you think we should do, sis?" Draco asked.

Copycat smirked under her helmet. "They tried to trick us, so let's trick them. After all, 'Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice, shame on you'."

"Fight fire with fire," Draco nodded. "I like it."

"Here's the plan…" Copycat began to say as they huddled.
