Blood filled his mouth, and pain engulfed his whole body. But, he thought that this was important to him. To them. So, he
cringed, and slowly carved through his face. As he finished one side, he stabbed and quickly carved the other side. He wanted it done
and finished as soon as possible. His eyes were bloody, and he could hardly see. He was nearly about to faint.

"I-" He screamed. Talking would need to wait a long time. He ran to his room as fast as he could, and grabbed onto the dresser
for support. Suddenly he began to feel cold, goosebumps on his skin. He began scanning his room for something, anything
that would make him warm. Spotting a white hoodie on his bed, he snatched it and put it on. Why am I still cold?

It soon drifted away from his mind, as he realized only one more thing was needed: the knife. He felt like an idiot. Moments
ago, he was holding it in his hand carving through his face and now he forgot it. The final step. The grand finale. The ticket
to home. To freedom. Two rooms away from him tossed on the floor in a puddle of blood.

As he turned to leave he fell to the ground. He was tired, for whatever reason. He wanted to give up and just lie on his floor,
but he didn't want to sleep just yet. Crawling, he reached the destination and snatched it in his hand.

He needed to go into the forest. In their many letters, the man kept telling him "Don't forget the forest" or "The forest is
important". So he banged the back door open and ran. He stumbled a few times, but got back up and kept running. People
screamed when they saw him, yelling to call the police or someone to help him. But he ignored them and picked up the speed.
When he reached the forest, he went in without hesitation. He had no idea where he was going, but he didn't care.

Then he saw a tall tree move. He fell, not caring what he saw. When the tree turned into a man, a man with no face
and tentacle arms, he tried to scream but couldn't, air leaving his lungs. It came closer to him until it was standing above
him, almost inspecting him. As he slowly closed his eyes, the last thing he heard in his human life was an eerie voice that said;

"Welcome home, Jeff".
