Suns Dance of a Mad Man
The sun dances in the sky.
Evermore to the core
Across the painted world.
Of blues and whites
With swerving waves,
Of heat and more
And dancing black.
Across the shore
Bringing white to my world,
When it starts to fade
And lighting my smile.
To brighten the day
I love to dance.
Lose track of time
To dance with the sun.
As night time reaches high
And then in a flash.
Too bright to watch
I'm left once more.
Forever in black
I walk a trail.
A blind footed path
Losing myself.
In this foolish dance
I swerve my arms,
Around in circles
And swing my feet.
Up and down
Feeling warm heat.
As you tumble down
And then I trip,
Over those feet
Shattering the glass.
That is the floor
Back to reality.
Where suns dance no more
