What if the three Barkley brothers sat back and got lazy in their old age and liked it?

What will it take for Nick to accept Heath as a brother? Will he lose the chance to find out when Heath sets out on a special errand? A story that grew out of the Whumptober 2021 prompts. It Will be slightly AU because it is not following the series canon, but the characterizations of each should be close to the series.
