And I'm back. Here you go, a lovely chapter that has been sitting finished for weeks. I sincerely apologise. However, if you would like to be pissed at me in the form of a review that would be great. I'd actually really like that. So, reviews anyone? Tell me if it was good or bad. I need feedback! And anyways, reviews help my muse. Please? Love you all, bye!
That wasn't good, Jaimy thought. I can't afford to look like a runaway. That was good. That was exactly what Jaimy Vitz was supposed to look like. Jaimy thought for a second before remembering the city he was suppose get to. I'll have to take a train at some point, he thought. Hopefully they gave me the right amount of money, I don't want to have to sneak on. Jaimy then did a quick check in his backpack and realised that he did indeed have to sneak onto the train. Great, he thought. Just great.
Jaimy sighed, loudly. He was stuck alone in the middle of who knows where and now he had to sneak onto a train. Perfect. Jaimy just loved this mission. Damn CHERUB to hell. Straight into the ninth circle. Also MI6. Actually, most definitely MI6. Forget about CHERUB. It's not necessarily their fault. Whatever, this is a bit too much for me on barely any sleep and practically no food, Jaimy thought. And now I have to sneak onto a train. He shivered then. Jaimy realised that his blue -shirt was not an adequate cover from the pulled a grey sweatshirt from his backpack. The pullover kind, not a zip-up. He hated the zip ones. He wear use them without a shirt. Jaimy shook his head and began a light jog towards the train station. Or at least, where he'd been told it would be. He hoped the directions were right. The less people he talked to, the better.
About twenty minutes later Jaimy was panting and he thought he had run at least three miles. His jog was a run now, and Jaimy could see the train station in the distance. Probably. It had track around it, so...If it wasn't a train station he was hallucinating. Anyways, he sped up, going at a very fast pace, but still not sprinting. Once he was about two hundred yards away, Jaimy sped up again. He was going at a dead sprint now. Once he finally reached the building, he collapsed against the side in relief. Jaimy also realised he could just pickpocket someone for money, instead of sneaking on.
Jaimy decided upon a young woman with a wide open purse. Silly girl, he thought, you shouldn't leave your purse open. Dodging through the small crowd he finally reached her. Jaimy slipped his hand into her purse and grabbed the wallet. Stuffing it into his pocket, he walked away. Jaimy spotted some benches at the edge of the cobbled square. He walked over, and sat down on a bench next to a pretty young girl. She had fair hair, blue eyes, and an athletic build. She was wearing a black hoodie and dark wash skinny jeans. On her feet were a pair of black nikes. "Hey," Jaimy said, half smiling. "What's your name?" The girl grinned and said, "Lauren. What's yours?" Jaimy smiled, fully this time. "Jaimy. What's a girl like you doing all alone at the train station?"
"I'm waiting for my brother. The idiot had to go and get himself lost." Lauren replied, with a eye roll. "Honestly! That boy..." Jaimy nodded. "Us teenage boys can be very stupid. Excluding myself, of course. I uphold myself with absolute intelligence." She nodded, repeating his earlier action. Lauren also answered his sarcasm, with some of her own. "Obviously. I'm sure you're an absolute genius." She then glanced at the crowd, and pointed. "Look, there's my brother. Let's see how long till he finds us. The boy she had pointed out was stocky. He had the same fair hair and blue eyes that Lauren did though, clearly marking them as siblings.
Jaimy's eyes suddenly lit up. "Wanna play a prank?" Lauren grinned, "On my brother? Of course! I've been waiting twenty minutes by now." "Just tell me his full name and..." he paused, thinking, "his birthdate and place." "James Adams, born 1991 in Tufnell Park, London." "Got it", Jaimy replied. "Be right back." He quickly got up and jogged over to the other boy. Taking his arm he said, "James Adams? Born in Tufnell Park, London? 1991?Come with me." The boy, James, widened his eyes and asked, "Who are you?" "Never you mind. Come on!" Jaimy answered, tugging James' arm. Then James spotted his sister. "Oh, I get it. This is some clever prank the two of you have cooked up. Trying to fool me into doing something for you? Not on my life."
Jaimy shook his head. "What are you talking about? We've met before. You were told what to do in this situation." James rolled his eyes and answered, "Suuure. I've met you before obviously. That's why my sister over there is laughing her ass off. Right." Jaimy shrugged. "Apparently you can't be convinced. Just come with me. Maybe you'll trust me more if she explains it." Jaimy dragged James over to Lauren. Placing the other boy in front of him, Jaimy mouthed, 'Tell him I'm from the organisation.' The girl took her eyes off of his mouth swiftly, letting her partner in crime know that she had understood. "It's okay James. He's from the organisation." James eyed her suspiciously. Secretly he wondered if this was some test CHERUB was playing on him, trying to get him to break cover. Not gonna happen. So he played stupid. "Organisation, what organisation? We're not part of any organisation."
Jaimy sighed. Turning to Lauren he said, "If he won't agree to come along I can't force him. We'll have to leave him behind. I'm very sorry." Lauren nodded. "I understand. He should be able to take care of himself while I'm gone. It's only ten minutes, right?" "You've got it. Come on, we're already running late," Alex replied. Jaimy grabbed her hand and pulled her along, walking quickly towards the train station. Turning back, he called over to James, "Good luck!" Before disappearing into the crowd with Lauren.
One last request for reviews. Please? A minute of your time for hours of mine. Pleasesies?
