A/N: Enjoy the shock!

A few days later in mid-afternoon Adam got a phone call. "Hello?" He asked.

"Mr. Garcia-Shapiro," Said a voice that Adam instantly recognized.

"Madame President?"

"You're request has successfully come through. The law requiring shoes to be worn in schools has been successfully revoked."

"Really!? That is great news!"

"Really, good luck with your daughter."

"Thank you, ma'am!" He said.

"My pleasure, Mr. Garcia-Shapiro, remember our deal though."

"Right," Adam said.

"Well, I must get going though if there's nothing else. I have some other important business to attend to."

"Right thank you ma'am" He said hanging up.

"Roslyn," Adam called once he hung up and she was immediately by his side.

"Yes daddy?" She asked.

"I had just gotten off the phone with the president." Adam said knowing she'd know what that meant.

"What did she say?"

"She had got the law requiring shoes in schools changed."

"So I can go back?" She asked.

"Most likely, we'd still have to talk with the school though." Adam informed.

"Okay," She said.

"Should I call the school now?" Adam offered.

"Yes please!" She said.

So Adam dialed the number. It rang twice before the headmistress picked up.

"Danville Private School for Exceptional Children, Headmistress Hayes speaking how may I help you?"

"This is Adam Garcia-Shapiro," He said.

She paused for a few seconds before asking again, How may I help you?"

"I am sure you have heard a new law?" He asked.

"Well, no I haven't." Mrs. Hayes said confused considering the law was JUST changed.

"Well you should receive a notice soon that it has been changed," Adam said neutrally.

Mrs. Hayes sighed and said, "Give me a second."

"Okay," He said.

"Oh my, that is surprising."

"Yes, well things change,"

"So… about my daughter..." Adam started.

"Well, we have to let her back in I suppose,"

"Well, then we're going to need an apology." Adam said and put her on speaker.

"Right now?" She asked.

"Right now," Roslyn said.

"Okay, Roslyn I'm sorry," She said

"Okay, how about you say it more genuinely."

"What do you want me to say?"

"I just want a real apology."

"Alright, I am sorry that I kicked you out of school I was just doing my job,"

Roslyn hesitated but said, "Alright, apology accepted."

"Thank you," she said.

"So I can come back to school then?" Roslyn asked.

"Yes, should you wish to."

"I do." Roslyn said not yet realizing the problem.

"Alright, then you may on Monday,"

"Thank you, Mrs. Hayes."

"My pleasure," she said.

Once they hung up, Roslyn realized the issue. "Oh no!" She huffed.

"What?" Adam asked having not put it together yet.

"He is in my classes,"

Then Adam got it. "Oh! Oh no!"

"I know!" She huffed.

"It'll be okay, Roslyn. You have until Monday; you just need to prepare yourself."

"Okay...how?" She asked.

"Just figure out a plan on how you're going to face him." Adam answered.

"Okay," She said.

"Any ideas for that?" She asked hopefully.

"You need to be firm and in control,"

"Right, I can handle that." Roslyn nodded.

"I know you can," Adam said.

"Yeah, especially with that voice out of the way." She added. "Where is she by the way?"

"They are relaxing somewhere around here,"

"Alright," Roslyn shrugged.

"They are free to do what they wish,"

"I know that. I was just wondering since I hadn't really seen them in a while." Roslyn said.

"Yeah, want to go see them?" Adam asked.

"Sure, they might be able to get my mind off of this."

"Okay come on," He said smiling. They both blurred off to find them.

Which took less time than expected they were in the indoor pool, Roslyn V looked over seeing Roslyn, "Oh, hi, Other Me."

"Hey Other Me!" Roslyn said happily.

"Wanna come in?" Roslyn V offered even though it was a given.

"Of course!" She said. Roslyn took off her clothes down to the swimsuit she always wears and dove right it, "Ah, never bad."

She turned to Adam and said, "Come on, Dad. Join us."

"Which dad?" Adam asked.

"The original one."

"Sure why not,"

"Then come on." She encouraged. Adam shrugged and jumped in.

A couple hours later, Adam got a third phone call. "Hello?" He asked answering

"Mr. Garcia-Shapiro, this is the president," The woman said.

"Oh, hello, Madame President," He said having a pretty good idea of what this is about.

"That favor you owe me I am using it. I have an assignment for you." She said.

"Alright, when will you need me?"

"The sooner the better,"

"Alright, I'll figure out something to tell Felicity and be right over."

"Thank you," She said.

"You're welcome, Madame President."

"See you soon," She said hanging up as Adam blurred to Feliss.

"I have been given a mission Feliss I will likely be gone for a few hours," He sighed.

"Alright, of course." Feliss said even more ignorant to the truth than you are and gave him a kiss, "I'll see you in a few hours then."

"Love you," He said before blurring off again.

He quickly arrived in Washington DC. "Here to see the president?" Her guards asked.

"Yes, she asked me to come over." Adam answered and showed his badge.

"Alright she is down in the bunker," He said.

He nodded and headed to the bunker. He found her there still dressed in her suit. On his arrival she dismissed her guards as Adam stood at attention. "At ease, Adam," She said going over to him. "You already know why we're here right?"

"I owe you a favor for helping get my daughter in school again," He said smiling.

"Of course, care to guess what that means?" She asked starting to take off her suit jacket with a smile.

"I have an idea," Adam said walking towards her and placing his hands on her hips.

"Good," She said and pulled him into a kiss. He kissed her back as she buried her fingers in his hair. "I...missed...you..." She said between kisses

"I… missed… you… too." He said and started to unbutton her blouse. She just smiled into the kiss and unbuckled his pants as she pulled him towards the bed.

Quite a while later, she rolled off him with her hair and a mess and a huge smile on her face. "It keeps getting better right?"

"Yeah," Adam said holding her. Something in Adam's mind tried to pull back that this was extremely wrong. That he's in love with Felicity and this is adultery but it couldn't seem to get through far enough.

"Are you okay?" She asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine." Adam said and snuggled against her.

"How long can you stay?" She asked.

"A few hours, actually," He answered.

"Really?" She asked with her head on his chest.

"Really, I told my wife I had to go on a mission that will likely take a few hours." Adam said.

"Smart," She said happily.

"See? I told you it's fine. Felicity never even has to know, just our little secret." She said smiling. "I just wish you weren't married. Then we could do this a lot more often."

"Yes we could," Adam said kissing her forehead.

"But alas, that simply can't be the case." She sighed and leaned up kissing his lips.

"No, but we still have now," Adam said when they separated.

"Yes we do." She smiled snuggling into him. "You love me to though, right?"

"Of course I do," Adam said again something in his head tried to fight through and did not quite make it.

Her smile turned to a smirk which went unnoticed and she said, "I love you, too, Adam." Adam smiled pulling her close as she could get.

Getting desperately out of that shocking scene, it is now that Monday and Roslyn was returning to school. She was understandably nervous. 'It'll be okay. You can do this.' She thought to herself as she went to her first class, where her and Eric first met.

He was already there talking to friends She tried to just ignore him and went to take her seat trying to ignore the remaining smell that by now only someone with powers could smell at all but to Eric the blue hair was obviously a dead giveaway and he turned away from his friends and rude asked, "Weren't you expelled?"

"Things change. For example, didn't you have a mouth full of cow manure last time I saw you?" She asked calmly. Naturally, the kids Eric was talking to laughed at that as he turned red with embarrassment. "Yeah that's what I thought," She said.

"And whose fault is that?" Eric snapped but Roslyn simply said:

"Yours," being very blunt about it.

"I mean you did cheat on me," She added causing Eric's friends to look at him surprised

"You cheated on her?" One of them asked in shock.

"I well...sort of," He said.

"Sort of? Oh, Jessica will get a kick of that." Roslyn said glaring at him.

"You two still talk?" He asked.

"Actually, the two of us are dating now."

"What, but your girls..." He stammered.

"You sound like her dad." Roslyn said in disgust.

"So?" He asked.

"That is definitely not a good thing."

"Why is that" He asked.

"He was a very cruel man and the government ended up having to take her away from him." Roslyn said leaving out that it was her father.

"Really?" He asked.

"Have you ever known me to kid?"

"Not really," He said.

"Well, yes, really."

"Oh, alright," He said.

Lucky for Roslyn, the teacher finally came in. She smiled seeing Roslyn back again "Great to have you back, Ms. Garcia-Daniels."

"Great to be back," She said smiling.

"So, let's get class started." The teacher said and the remaining students took their seats. Roslyn smiled a little happy to be back.

After English which was luckily Eric free, Roslyn headed to her PE Class which not only had Eric in it but was where she had gotten expelled. "Oh joy," SHe sighed changing.

She got her shorts and T-shirt on obviously leaving out the shoes and headed to the gym. The class looked over to her most of them smiling. "Hey everyone," Roslyn smiled back.

"Roslyn!" Said a small group of girls excitedly.

Roslyn chucked and went over to them. "We were going to talk to you, but then you left," She said.

"Sorry, I got into some trouble with the Headmistress but it's all settled now." Roslyn said.

"That's great! I'm Kimberly by the way," The green eyed blonde girl said.

"Nice to meet you, Kimberly and who are you?" She asked the other one.

"That's Kelly," She said pointing to a tan brown eyed and haired girl.

"Nice to meet you, too, Kelly." Roslyn said. "Why were you guys so interested in meeting me?"

"You were so much fun to watch in this class,"

"Well, I wasn't even trying."

"We know, but you made girls look good," She said.

"Well, I'm glad." Roslyn said kicking herself for not toning it down enough.

"It's great. You shut some boys up,"

"That was a problem before?" Roslyn asked surprised at that having had zero exposure to sexism.

"Yeah it was,"

"What kind of things did they say?" Roslyn asked.

"That girls could never beat boys,"

"That's terrible." Roslyn gasped. "Why would they say that?"

"Because they won more than us,"

"Well, then that's something that needs to change." Roslyn said.

"Well some of them have shut up,"

"Not all?" Roslyn asked getting more worried.

"No not all," Kimberly said.

"Then we need to fix that." Roslyn said simply.

"How?"

"I'll figure something out." Roslyn said.

They all smiled at her. "You certainly aren't like normal girls are you, Roslyn?" Kelly asked.

"No way," She said.

"Well, that's cool, normal's overrated anyways." Kimberly shrugged.

"You sound like my parents,"

"Is that a good thing?" She asked.

"Yes it is," She said.

"Good," Kimberly smiled.

"My pleasure,"

"So what about when you try?" Kimberly asked out of nowhere.

"When I try what?"

"When I first commented on watching you in class you said you weren't even trying. So what about when you do try?"

"I could be pretty good," Roslyn said.

"Then why don't you?" Kelly asked.

"It's hard to explain, we'll see what we play today," Roslyn said.

Almost on clue the gym teacher came in. "Line up!" They got into their lines and the teacher was surprised to see her there and still shoeless, "Ms. Garcia-Daniels."

"Yes, Mrs. Magnollia?" Roslyn asked innocently.

"You're back,"

"Yes I am. The law was changed so Headmistress Hayes reaccepted me no strings attached."

"Well then welcome back,"

"Glad to be back."

"Well then warm up lap,"

Everyone did and Roslyn of course keep her powers under control. "Alright now we can play hockey or dodge ball today,"

"Dodge ball!" Roslyn said if you don't remember loving dodge ball.

The girls rallied behind her in agreement. Eventually dodge ball was decided on.

"Alright boys vs. girls,"

"Perfect," Roslyn smirked and went over to the girl's side, everyone else went to their own and Roslyn's eyes specifically fixated on Eric with a glare. She of course still held back. She didn't exactly want to kill him but he was definitely taking a trip to the hospital.

"Ready?" The coach asked when they were lined up.

They all nodded and she blew her whistle. Roslyn grabbed a ball and chucked in at Eric hitting him square in the chest hard enough that he went flying across the room.

He hit the padded wall and slide down it. Roslyn smirked and the battle was over quickly with the girls obviously winning by a landslide thanks to Roslyn.

"Well I think that is a decisive end!" The coach said blowing the whistle.

All the girls happily gathered around Roslyn praising her as Kimberly and Kelly had.

"Thank you, thank you," Roslyn said smiling as she bowed.

"Think that helped?" Roslyn asked Kimberly.

"Yeah, and we still have time for one more game,"

"Yeah, at least I didn't go as far as last time though. Except with Eric but he deserved it."

"You held back?"

"Didn't you see my first day?" Roslyn asked.

"Yeah, we did,"

"Then you should know that was holding back."

"Yeah I guess,"

She of course didn't mention that she was holding back the first time and just asked, "So, what now?"

"We play again,"

"How did Eric deserve it?" Kelly asked.

"He cheated on me with another girl," Roslyn said.

"What?! No! That can't be!"

"What? It is that's how it happened and why Jessica and I both broke up with him and threw him into wet cow manure,"

"I'm going to kill him!" Kelly growled angrily.

"What?" Roslyn asked.

"Have to break up with him first. Then I'll kill him."

"Wait he was dating you too?" Roslyn asked.

Kelly nodded obviously VERY angry. "That..." Roslyn stammered. Until Eric came along cheating was honestly completely absent in the manor but no there's THREE. She wasn't she what to say. Roslyn growled lowly. "I just might beat you to that." Roslyn told Kelly.

"Please let me help," She said.

"I think it would be best if you stayed out of this?" Roslyn said carefully.

"Aw, why?"

"Just, with what I have planned it would work best alone."

"Will it hurt him?" She asked.

"Of course, no less than he deserves."

"Good, then I trust you," She said smiling.

"You should." Roslyn smirked.

"So, more dodge ball?"

"Yes!" Roslyn said excited again. The boys groaned. "Come on, at least I went easy on you." Roslyn said to them. They looked at her puzzled. "Does no one remember my first day?" They all nodded some of them remembering the bruises. "So, yeah, I went easy on you." They nodded glumly.

"So, let's go again." The teacher said. They nodded, the teacher blew the whistled, and all the boys in a silent agreement targeted Roslyn who tried to avoid them without using her powers but did inevitably was hit.

"Out," the couch sighed.

Roslyn sighed and headed to the sidelines. The rest of the girls were not very happy at the boys for doing that. "No fair!" Kelly said.

"It wasn't fair with that... whatever she is." One of the boys said.

"She's a girl!" Kimberley shouted angry.

"She's a freak of nature is what she is!" He said though more casually not knowing the truth.

"How mean!" Kelly sad throwing the ball hard as she could. The ball hit him in the chest though not Roslyn hard it was very hard knocking him off his feet.

"Out!" The couch called. He got up and headed over as Roslyn tried to figure out how that was mean since in the manor where normality is typically frowned upon, 'a freak of nature' is considered a compliment.

The girls began to dominate and in the end, despite not having Roslyn the girls won by a landslide. Roslyn clapped, "I knew you girls could do it." Roslyn smiled.

"You inspired us,"

"Well, I'm glad but the potential was always there. Girls can do anything guys can do despite what they keep saying."

"Well still you helped," Kelly said.

"Then as I said, I'm glad." Roslyn said walking back over to them.

"Three cheers for girls!" Kelly said.

The bell rang before they could though. "Awe," Roslyn sighed.

"Could Kelly and I maybe eat lunch with you?" Kimberly asked.

"Sure! I would like that you can meet my family," Roslyn said.

"That sounds fun." Kelly agreed.

"Okay, let's go change then," Roslyn said. They got changed then headed to the cafeteria.

"Alright we sit at the large table in the center," Roslyn said. They nodded so they all got their food and sat down.

Eve was the first to arrive after them. "Hey Roslyn, who do we have here?" Eve said taking a seat.

"Eve, this is Kimberly and Kelly, new friends of mine," She said.

"Well, it's nice to meet you both." Eve said.

Slate arrived next. "Hey Slate, these are my new friends Kimberly and Kelly. Girls, this is my cousin Slate."

"Nice to meet you," Slate said.

"Nice to meet you, too," Kelly said.

"He's taken," Eve said quickly.

"I wasn't flirting." Kelly said just as quickly.

"I'm just saying," Eve said.

Before Kelly could say anything, the twins got there. "Haydon, Alisha! This is Kelly and Kimberly!" Roslyn said.

"You're just making new friends all over the place aren't you?" Alisha chuckled.

"I guess so," Roslyn said smiling.

"I've only been here a day and two half ones." Roslyn reminded.

"Still," She chuckled.

"Hey, I have twelve years to make up for."

"Home school?" Kimberly asked.

Roslyn nodded, "I didn't really ever know anyone besides these guys, our parents, and Aaron who should be here shortly."

"Speak of the devil," He said smiling as he sat down.

"The gang's all here then. Aaron; Kimberly, Kelly."

"Nice to meet you," He said.

"Nice to meet you, too."

"New friends huh?"

"Yeah, they're in my gym class." Roslyn said.

"Well, welcome to the table," He said.

"Nice table," Kelly said simply.

"Very nice,"

"So, where do you guys live?" Kimberly asked.

"In a mansion," Roslyn said.

"You're kidding." Kimberly said impressed.

"No, no I am not," She said.

"That's incredible."

"Not really,"

Roslyn shrugged and said, "Then again we've lived there our whole lives."

"True,"

"How big is it?" Kelly asked.

"Very,"

"Have you heard of the Daniels Manor?" Roslyn asked.

"No not really,"

"Well, it's a huge but well hidden mansion in the Danville forest. That's where we live."

"Cool!"

"That's what most people say." Eve said.

"Is it not?" Kelly asked.

"Well, we never knew any different." Eve said.

"Did you think it was cool?

"Definitely, you never have to be bored."

"Never?"

"Not really." Roslyn said.

"Sounds great!"

"Yeah, there's lot's to do there." Roslyn said.

"Sounds great!"

"Well, your guys' lives seem really interesting to me." Roslyn said.

"Why?"

"I'm not sure. I guess for the same reason you guys find our interesting. It's so very different from what you've known your whole life."

"Yeah that's true," Kimberly said.

"Until I started here I had never even really left the manor. At least not very far."

"Wow really?"

"None of us have." Alisha said.

"Odd,"

"Well, it was life." Alisha shrugged.

"Still,"

"What's the problem?" Eve asked.

"Never leaving the house for years...odd is all,"

"No really in the manor. It's the safest place in the world so really no sense in leaving it." Eve said.

"Still, did you never wonder?"

"Not really beforehand. We only really ever knew anything about normal lives from books." Roslyn said.

"Wow, must have been at least a little strange,"

"Not exactly the word I'd use." Roslyn shrugged.

"What word would you use?"

"Just… different."

"Okay," She shrugged.

"You can't argue with that." Roslyn smirked as she ate.

"No, I can't," She said.

"Neither are bad though." Roslyn said.

"Also true,"

"After my first day my dad overheard me talking to Slate about how normal lives were seeming interesting and was worried that I resented not being normal. Which, I don't."

"Oh that must have been awkward," She said.

"Yes it was but we got that all cleared up."

"Good," Kelly sighed

"It took a while though. He told my mother and they were worried they were bad parents for it." Roslyn said regretting it.

"They are not?"

"Of course not. They're excellent parents."

"Good,"

"Just a little too protective if anything but you can't really blame them."

"Yeah, all parents are protective,"

"With them though. You have no idea."

"They must be great," She said.

"You have no idea." Roslyn said with a smile.

"You sound happy,"

"I am." She said simply.

"Good,"

"How about you girls, tell us a few things about yourselves?" Roslyn asked.

"What do you want to know?" Kelly asked.

"Anything really: your family, your hobbies, your life."

"Well, I like to draw." Kelly said.

"That's cool. Are you good?" Eve asked.

"I think so," Kelly said pulling a sketchbook out of her bag and handing it to the group to look through.

Eve took it and opened weren't art wall amazing but they were pretty impressive. "Very impressive."

"Really?" Kelly asked hopefully.

"Yeah!" Haydon said.

"Well, thank you." Kelly said with a blush.

"No problem." Haydon said smiling.

"Well, they're nothing special."

"They are great though," Alisha said.

"Well, I guess."

"Really," Her twin said smiling.

Roslyn took a look not realizing the tension and said, "Definitely."

"Thanks," She said.

"What about you, Kimberly?" Roslyn asked.

"I play the saxophone," She said.

"That's really cool." Roslyn smiled.

"Not really," She shrugged.

"Well, I think it is." Roslyn said simply.

"Thank you," She said.

"My pleasure." Roslyn smiled.

"I'm not great though," She said.

"That's okay." Roslyn shrugged.

"Really?" She asked.

"Really," Roslyn nodded.

"But Kelly is so good," She said.

"Irrelevant,"

"No, her talent is better than mine," She said.

"Irrelevant," Roslyn repeated.

"How so?"

"You can't degrade your abilities by comparing them against someone else's, than you'll never be good enough. The generic you in all cases."

"I suppose," She said.

"Just trust me on that. Everyone just has some people they'd never be as good as in some things." Roslyn said.

"Yeah?"

"So as I said, it's irrelevant."

"Well when you put it that way..." she trailed.

"So, you believe me?"

"Yeah I do," she said.

"Good," Roslyn smiled.

"So, how did you find out about Eric?" Kelly asked.

"I overheard a call with him and his other girlfriend." Slate explained. "So I told my mom who found a text from her and forwarded it to Roslyn."

Roslyn took over and said, "He tried to lie his way out of it so I gave Jessica a call." She explained before turning to Slate and saying, "By the way, this is Eric's THIRD girlfriend," and motioning to Kelly.

"What?" Her whole family gasped.

Kelly just nodded angrily. "Interesting," Slate said his black eyes glittering

"Slate, he's my prey." Roslyn whined.

"Aw but we could make a game out of it," he said.

Roslyn's eyebrows rose curiously. "I'll consider it."

"That is all I ask, great one," he said bowing.

Roslyn just laughed at that. "You have a great family," Kelly said.

"Thank you." Slate said simply.

The others all nodded.

"No problem." Kelly smiled.

"Glad you like us," Kimberly added.

"We don't really dislike many people unless you give us a reason to." Eve said.

"Good to know," she said.

"Give us a reason though and we can be VERY brutal." Roslyn said. Kelly gulped at that. "You shouldn't have anything to worry about with that though."

"You sounded scary," she said.

"Good," Roslyn smirked jokingly.

"Roslyn, don't scare her," Haydon said.

"Sorry," Roslyn blushed.

"It's fine," Eve giggled.

"I was talking to Kelly."

"It is though," Kelly said.

"Okay," Roslyn smiled.

"Funny," Kimberly said.

"I try to be." Roslyn shrugged.

"You do well," She said.

"Thank you." Roslyn chuckled.

"My pleasure,"
