And we are back! Sorry for the little break. I decided last minute to go on a trip with my parents for New Years as Theseus has already told you. This chapter was a lot of fun to write as Theseus had it outlined for when I got back. We will discuss other things at the bottom of the page.- Orion

~~~~~Thinking of the Future by Theseus and Orion Stark~~~~~

Main Pairings: Percabeth(Past), Nicercy

Side Pairings: Reyna/Annabeth, Piper/Jason, Clarisse/Chris, Katie/Malcolm, Will/Jake, Leo/Hazel/Frank

Summary: Gaia has fallen. Percy realizes he's gay, but after Annabeth realizes that she is as well. They mutually break up to go after the ones they truly care for. Percy goes after the one guy who had his back for the longest, Nico di Angelo Son of Hades. Percy just wants to make Nico happy and have a happy life with him. The gods have offered him Godhood again and this time he really thinks about, but when they don't offer Nico it he refuses.

Chapter 4: A Time and A Place

"Percy," Nico woke me up with a kiss. "What's on your mind, my love?"

"I want to go visit my dad for a day," I replied and returned the kiss.

"Why don't you go today, since I have to be in the Underworld all day," he suggested. "Then we can have dinner when we get home then we can leave tomorrow for our extended break."

"Are you sure?" I asked shocked.

"Yes, we both are princes of our fathers' domains, so we should probably talk to them before we leave for a year," he replied.

I then hugged him and got up to take a shower and get ready to leave, "I didn't mean you had to go now. Let's eat some breakfast before at least," Nico said.

"You go fix it and I'll get showered then we can eat and I'll go while you are showering," I said and he grunted then headed towards the kitchen. After I got out of the shower and dressed I met him in the kitchen where we ate breakfast and talked about places where we wanted to go.

"But Nico, we can't go too far cause Christmas is coming up soon," I pouted. "How about we go to like Alaska or down to South America then spend Christmas with our friends then head to Europe?"

"Whatever you want, my love," Nico agreed and kissed me. "Now I'm going to go get ready. Are you leaving for Atlantis?"

"Yep," I replied popping the 'p'. I kissed him back and pulled him into a hug. "Now, if you get home before me just start cooking and when I get back we can eat."

"Of course," Nico said and then walked off to the shower. I walked out of the house and headed towards the Ocean. Once I was in and away from the beach I swam as fast as I could to Atlantis.

"Prince Perseus," I heard a voice say. As I got closer a merman was standing at the entrance to the city. "Welcome back, my lord. Lord Poseidon is expecting you in the throne room of the palace. Would you like a guide?"

"That would be nice," I replied. A few minutes later a younger merman swam towards us.

"My lord Perseus," the merman said. "My name is Kunoch. I will guide you to the Throne Room."

"Lead the way Kunoch," I said and followed him through the city. As we reached the palace I noticed that it had changed since my last visit.

"Lord Perseus, Poseidon is waiting for you in the Throne Room," one of the guards said.

"That is where Kunoch was just leading me," I replied. Kunoch led me down the hallway on the left of the entrance once there we stopped at the doors at the end.

"This is the throne room," Kunoch said.

"Thank you for guiding me," I replied. "I'll mention it to my dad." I then walked into the room at the far end sat my father in his blue throne to his right sat his wife Amphrite and to his left were two thrones one at Triton and the other was empty. As I walked in my dad stood and walked towards me.

"It's good to see you in person, my boy," my dad said pulling me into a hug. He then turned and waved toward his wife and other son and they left the room. "We have much to discuss and little time to do it in. Where would you like to begin?"

"The whole me getting pregnant thing would be nice," I replied.

"Ah, yes," he said. "Well, children of Poseidon have always been fertile. Orion was the first male to display signs of it, but he was in love with Artemis so we never found out. Theseus was the next that displayed signs of being able to get pregnant. He was pregnant when he died. Now, I've had my suspicions about you, but I had thought you were straight up until you professed your love for Nico. So, I had to bring it to your attention so that you don't make me a granddad this soon in your life."

"What can you do?" I asked blushing.

"I had my dear niece make these years ago for Theseus," he replied pulling out an herb from his pocket. "Eat this once a week and you can't get pregnant. When you feel the time is right stop eating it and the effects will wear off after a week. I will give you a plant so you can just pick it when it is time. Persephone has taken an interest in you since you make Nico happy which in turns makes Hades happy. So, she will make sure that this plant constantly has enough leaves so you may eat it. Do you understand?"

"Yeah," I blushed a bright red.

"Good, because I was getting a little nervous talking to you about that," dad admitted. "How about I show you around Atlantis?"

I nodded and we swam off. I spent the rest of the day swimming around with my dad and even got to spar with him. Once we had a little down time I looked at my watch and it was almost seven in the evening so I bid farewell to my father and swam towards the shore, willing the current to lead me home.

~~~~MEANWHILE WITH NICO~~~~~~

NICO POV

I got home and was surprised that Percy hadn't beaten me there. At least I could cook a meal without him there distracting me. I went to the kitchen and grabbed a pot out of the cupboard and filled it halfway with water and set it on the stove and turned it on. As it was warming up I went to change out of my clothes that smelled like death and despair. Once I got to the bedroom I noticed a piece of paper sticking out from Percy's night stand. I opened it to put it away and accidently read the last line. It said that he could get pregnant. 'What does that mean?' I thought to myself. 'I'll ask him about it when he gets home,' I replied to myself as well.

After I changed I went back to the kitchen just as the water started to boil. I grabbed a bag of noodles that I had made a couple days before and poured them in. After about twenty minutes they were just right so I poured a jar of sauce into the pasta and mixed it all up. Just as I was pulling out the garlic bread from the oven I heard the front door open and shut. "Nico, I'm home," Percy called.

"Good timing," I called back. "The food just got done."

I took everything over to the kitchen table and he walked in. I wrapped my arms around him and kissed him fully on the mouth. "How was your day in the Underworld?" he asked.

"Busy," I replied. "Dad had me running all over the place making sure the spirits were all where they are supposed to be. What about you?"

"My day started awkwardly then ended up being a fun day with dad," He said. "We tour all of Atlantis and he even granted you permission to visit any time that you wanted."

"I'll have to think about it," I said. "Why was it awkward?"

"Just relationship talk," Percy replied.

"Does it have anything to do with the note you got from him and how you can get pregnant?" I asked.

"How did you find out about that?"

"The note was sticking out of your night stand so when I went to put it up that line jumped out at me," I replied.

"Oh, well, yeah it did," He said. "Don't worry though. He gave me an herb that Persephone made for Theseus when he displayed the signs. I only have to eat a couple leaves a week and I will be fine. Then when I feel it is time to try for kids I just have to stop a week before we start trying and the effects are gone."

I just stared at him. After a few minutes of just staring I said, "That's great! Hazel gave me a great idea about where we could go for our first trip."

"Where?" he was practically jumping out of his seat when he asked.

"Rio de Janeiro," I replied. "She said that is a place where she had always wanted to go and showed me some pictures and I was sold. So do you want to go to Rio with me?"

"Yes!" he replied.

"Then let's go to bed," I said. "We leave first thing in the morning."

Author's Note: I know we said Europe in the last chapter, but Theseus thought that Rio was better since it'd make since for them to at least stay in the same geographical area with it being so close to Christmas.
