A/N: Holy cow, I've had so much writer's block for this that you wouldn't believe it if I told ya. ;A;

Honestly, I didn't think this story will get many hits, but since some had asked for a new chapter, I wrote another one. LOL. And to apologize for the lateness, I made it longer. c:

And I admit, I feel scared that some of you might not like the ending… Don't worry, nothing tragic or sad happened though.

Warning: There's going to lots of OOC-ness in this chapter, so yea…

[FLONNE'S POV]

"That's it, Laharl! You're doing it!" I cheered, elatedly moving my red-clad feet along with his. His cute, little face flushed pink. How cute!

It's been 3 hours already and he's already improved this much! I'm such a good teacher! Oh, I'm so happy!

"Hn." he grunted, trying to focus his eyesight on the ground.

"Do you want to take a break or shall this be our last session, Sir Laharl?" I inquired, my ruby eyes gleaming curiously. I peered into those crimson pools, and I involuntarily (and inwardly) melted when they stared into my own, only revealing innocent thoughtfulness.

"Hm…" he pondered.

For some strange reason, my heart pounded faster than usual. I didn't know why, but my breath also hitched as I eagerly waited for his decision. I gave a tiny gulp and a small wag of my tail.

"Let's take a break and then we'll have one last session before we retire for the night."

Again, I felt happiness and giddiness inside of me. A brief memory of Seraph Lamington flashed before me. I can't remember exactly what he had said, but I just know it was about Laharl and I.

We were the ones that ties both the Netherworld and Celestia together.

Both of us.

But, why did I feel so giddy when I heard that? Why? For now, I decided to leave that thought alone.

"Alrighty then!" I replied to him, a smile on my face. My tail wagged back and forth excitedly.

[AFTER THE BREAK]

I bounced my way over to him, a cheerful little tune escaping my lips. Taking position again, I turned my head over to the Prinny. "Mister Prinny, if you please?"

"Aye aye, dood!"

Violins and the sound of a piano filled the silence that was once there.

My high heeled-clad feet began moving, guiding his along too.

[LAHARL'S POV]

I carefully took gentle and wary steps, trying to make sure I didn't accidentally step on her already-sore feet for the umpteenth time. Hey, it's not my fault that she has dainty little feet. If anything, SHE'S the dangerous one. Which is why I usually take a step back whenever she stomps on the floor; pouting, mad, or both. Her heels are killer. And I mean it.

I could feel the tiny wings on my back fluttering delightfully, but thankfully, the sight of them was being blocked by my scarf. My wings work like one of those canine creatures in the human world - dog tails. They flutter fast when they're (or if I'm) excited. They droop if (or if I'm) depressed. They flutter slow, but ominously if they're (or I'm again) angry.

Right now, they're still fluttering, carrying that bright, happy feeling that the Love Freak usually emanates. Sometimes, even I don't know why they act like that.

As I stared up at her, I saw that she had closed her eyes; like she believed that I could make no mistakes right now. And so far, I think I was doing well too.

My gaze flickered to her lips. My strong demon nose could make out the faint smell of sweet strawberries, a type of fruit from the human world. The lights from the ceiling reflected off of her lips, revealing something shiny. I pieced together the puzzle and realized that she must've put on the strange tube of shiny thing called 'lip gloss' given by Jennifer again. Strangely enough, it suits her. Beautifully too… Wait. What? I never said that, got it?

My ears caught the faint noise of soft humming. Damn, her voice is sure calming, I'll admit to that. Her voice had always sounded better when she wasn't squealing or yelling.

Suddenly, we got to the part of the twirl again, so I did twirl her. And as soon as she twirled out, I felt cold for a very brief moment until she twirled in again. My heart just skipped a beat when I heard her giggle in merriment.

"Sir Laharl, are you blushing?" came the teasing voice of the Love Freak. Her eyes peered into mines, screaming with playful teasing.

I'm really glad Etna's not here anymore. "O-of course not! What made you think that, Love Freak!?"

She rolled her eyes playfully. "Oh, then I guess the very bright pink hue on your face came from the non-existent heat in this room." She smiled innocently.

Innocent, my ass. She certainly has gotten a lot more mischievous and sarcastic over the years she's been spending as a fallen angel. I'm starting to think Etna's a bad influence on her.

I stammered, "S-shut up, you Love Freak!"

My body reacted on its own, and pushed her, breaking our dance position. I turned my back to her and crossed my arms, my stupid face turning red. Damn it, I hate hormones.

My ears perked at her muffled giggle. Nice to know she didn't find that offensive, I remarked sarcastically.

"Okay, I think you're good to go on dancing, Sir Laharl." I think she was stepping closer to me. All of a sudden, I felt something coil around my waist. "Oh, you're such a good student!" she squealed, hugging me as tight as hell. "I had never thought that I would teach the great Overlord Laharl dancing! Oh, I feel so honored!"

Shit, I can feel the hormones working. I felt her burning hot breath breathing against my ears. "Ah! Damn it, stop teasing me and stop snuggling me!" I hollered, face turning to the color of blood. I tried moving my arms and legs, pushing her, prying her fingers off of me, but she had a monster grip.

"Aw, but you're just so cute! I couldn't resist!" she chirped, leaning her cheek onto my scarf. I'll have you know that my scarf is really soft… Guess she knows now…

Damn it, she's enjoying this way too much. She's just downright treating me, the Overlord, as a common stuffed animal!

Abruptly, my bedroom door opened again. "What's going on in here? We heard screaming."

Oh, shit.

"Wow, Prince. Nice one. Ya know, I had always thought that it would be you who made the first move."

"Damn it, Etna! Help me out here!" I screamed at her. Her damn freakin' eyes stared down at me with a look that screamed 'It-looks-like-our-little-overlord-and-fallen-angel-are-finally-growing-up'.

She stopped eating her pudding, set her spoon down in her pudding container, and got something out of her pockets.

*CLICK*

"For the scrapbook." she chirped. She resumed eating her pudding at the entrance to my bedroom door. DOING. ABSOLUTELY. FREAKIN'. NOTHING.

"AUGH! Damn you, Etna!" I waved my fist in the air threateningly at her, to which she stuck her stupid tongue at me.

[SEVERAL MOMENTS LATER]

I laid in coffin-bed, exhausted. My scarf reached for my pillow and set it under my head. What a day…

I had to take dance lessons from the Love Freak, got embarrassed by Etna, got hugged by the Love Freak, and got embarrassed by Etna again.

Ugh, too much embarrassment today.

Let's hope tomorrow's a good day. Without the embarrassment.

Now it's time to sleep.

[NEXT DAY]

I was stuck in office again, doing another huge-ass pile of papers that needed to be signed. Curses. Etna had dragged me out of bed for this? She should really learn how to help rather than eating pudding all day.

*KNOCK KNOCK*

The knock brought me out of my fantasies of burning this pile of papers. "It's open!" I informed them, my voice caked with grumpiness, my hands too busy to open it myself.

"Good morning, Sir Laharl."

"Yea, yea. Morning, Love Freak." I muttered.

Since I was so focused on signing my signatures, I had failed to see her eyes dimming at the nickname that I had given her long ago.

"Ahem, anyways, Mister Gordon and Miss Jennifer's wedding invitations came in today." She showed me hers for emphasis. She took out something from inside her sleeves and placed it on my desk. "This is your invitation."

My eyes quickly darted over its ivory surface and back down to the multiple pieces of papers in front of me. I nodded my head as a silent sign of thanking her.

"Well, I'm off to find a dress!" She skipped to door, her heart-shaped tail wagging excitedly. "Bye, Sir Laharl!"

And finally, I heard the click of the door, a sign that she's gone.

Since I know I'm already invited, I don't need to read the invitation. Okay, after I finish these papers, I need to hunt for a tux. Now where did my old man's old tux go?

"Wow, Prince! You don't look half bad!"

"Miss Etna's right. You look so gentlemanly!"

"Would you two shut up!?"

I stared at my own reflection, embarrassed. My ears were turning red. Geez, it was just a tux. No need to act so surprised… Or is the sight of me wearing a tux amusing or shocking to them? I bet it's the former…

"Oh, and the fact that you're wearing your scarf with your tuxedo makes it even cuter!" Love Freak squealed, clasping her hands together.

I gulped, and bit the inside of my mouth. Hard. It was so freakin' difficult to not notice how much skin she revealed by wearing that white strapless dress. Her usually, abnormally long hair, which was wrapped into an elegant-looking bun, bounced up and down tauntingly at me.

She just looks so… What's the word?

Pretty? Hm…

Cute? Kinda…

Beau- DECENT? Yup.

For once, the Love Freak looks decent enough and formal as well.

Her eyes sparkled with giddiness. Her lips curled into a smile so high up that I think it might be permanently glued on her face.

"Well, we better get a move on before everyone thinks we're MIA." Etna started, heading for the door. A few prinnies followed her. Closing the door, it was only me and the Love Freak now. Alone.

"Well then, I guess we should go too." I told her, walking to the door at a fast pace. I heard her scrambled footsteps as she tried to jog over to me in her 1-inch white heels. However, as soon as I laid my hand over the doorknob and opened the door, I instantly felt a pressure on my back, sending me to the ground.

Demons - including Etna and Gordon - stopped their interacting to stare at us. It felt like hundreds of fire arrows stabbing with intense pain. God damn it, stop staring!

"Hehe… I'm s-sorry, S-Sir Laharl… I tripped…" I heard the blonde whisper on top of me. Her breath on my ear made my neck burn.

"Geez, you two sure love to topple each over. Is that, like, your new hobby or something?" Etna deadpanned, looking at us.

"Aww… I always knew you two had something for each other!" the idiot soon-to-be husband, Gordon, exclaimed, guffawing.

I felt the girl on my back get off, and I got up. I tried to brush off the dust on my clothes as nonchalantly as I can. I would've fooled them completely, had I not been blushing.

Hushed whispers flooded my throne room.

"Ya think they got the hots for each other?"

"Yea! I mean, why else would they be blushing?"

"Laharl and Flonne sitting in a tree!~"

"When's the wedding?"

"They do look cute together."

"SHUT. UP!" I snapped. "In case you boneheads hadn't noticed already, the wedding's about to start!"

My outburst made everyone rush into their appropriate seats and stay hushed.

With a blank face, I strode to my place behind Gordon as Best Man, next to Prinny Kurtis. The Love Freak moved next to Etna, where they are both Maid of Honors.

[AFTER THE WEDDING]

I sat on a lone chair at a lone table, watching demons dance. My chin rested in my hand, my elbow on the table. To sum it up: I. Am. Bored.

So bored, that I could just fall asleep right here, right now.

Everybody was having a great time, but me.

My eyes started to droop sleepily. I heaved a heavy yawn. All of a sudden, my nose caught a whiff of something. It smelt like… vanilla…

I drifted my gaze to my right, spotting the Love Freak walking towards me, her hands behind her back. Her face held small smile. I merely watched her take the seat in front of me.

"So… May I ask why you look so bored and all alone in the corner?"

"Because I'm bored. What did ya think, huh?"

"But you should be having fun! Everyone is. Even Miss Etna!"

"Nah. I rather like this corner. It's quiet here, and I was about to take a nap."

"Oh, stop being so pessimistic, Sir Laharl!"

"Can't you see that I don't wanna, you Love Freak?" I was beginning to get annoyed.

"Why…?" she whispered… solemnly…?

"Why what?" I asked blandly, refusing to show interest in the conversation.

"Why do you always call that? I have a name, you know?" Her head drooped down, a sad expression showing.

I shrugged my shoulders. "Because you are a love freak."

"Just call me by my name. That's all I'm asking… It won't kill you..."

I tried to move my mouth, but it won't obey me. Instead, I just stayed quiet as I looked away from her. But I guess that was the wrong move since she stood up from her seat; pain was written all over her.

"D-do you hate me, Sir Laharl?" She tried to sound calm, but it failed since she stuttered a bit.

"W-well-"

"So you DO hate me…" She sighed, turning around and walked dejectedly out to, where I assume is, her flower garden.

"Hey, wait-" I said, trying to stop her by reaching an arm out, but it was too late. She was already through the door.

Several demons (but not all) had seen our little exchange, and shot me disappointed looks with a shake of their heads. They all enjoyed the Love Freak's company and were very friendly with her. It's no wonder they'd be disappointed to see her upset right now. After gracing me with their disappointment, they returned to whatever they were doing.

I sighed into my hand, exasperated at the sudden turn of events. I guess I better go straighten things out with her pronto.

I got out of my seat, and braced myself for some drama I'm going to be encountering very soon.

There she is. Sitting there in the middle of all those flowers, curled up. Her head on her knees as she looked down at her flowers. She also let her hair down. My demonic hearing could pick up an exhausted, yet sad sigh.

Well, here I go…

I forced my legs to move, my footsteps softly crunching the flowers beneath me. I watched as she buried her face in her knees, her tail losing its usually energetic spark.

Geez, I didn't realize my words and actions could affect her this much…

Taking the seat next to her, I merely did nothing until her surprised scarlet eyes landed on me.

The atmosphere grew from sad and disappointed to silent and awkward.

Placing a hand on the back of neck, I broke the silence. "Look," I turned my head away from her curious, wary stare. "About what happened earlier… I.. I didn't mean-"

"Yea, I know… You didn't mean it, right?" She stared ahead, a faraway look glazed into her crimson pools. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have run off on you like that. I didn't even listen to you and just jumped to conclusions…"

For some reason, the moonlight on her made her… What's the word? Irresistible…

The way that her skin glows gracefully… The way her hair shines so angelically… Okay, someone please slap me in the face.

"Look," I started. "I'm sorry, you're sorry, we're both sorry." I stood up, offering her a hand. I felt the tip of my ears color pink. "Apologies aside, how about we just go back inside now. They must be wondering where we are." I shut my eyes, embarrassed and irked by my pink face. "Flonne…"

Something soft just touched my cheek. Oh no, oh no, oh no. Say it ain't so.

I cracked open an eye to see… "FLO- LOVE FREAK, WHAT ARE YA DOING!?"

"Thank you, Sir Laharl…"

Andddd she hugged me. Shit. I hate- no. I LOATHE hormones.

Little did I knew, her face was a bright cherry red, matching mines.

A/N: For some reason, I think it needs a third chapter… What do you guys think? Should I just leave it like this or make another chapter? THERE WILL BE A POLL ON MY PROFILE. PLEASE VOTE THERE.
