Hey guys! I'm back! I think I'll get into updating every two weeks, except on breaks, how's that? I really have nothing to say except 1. I'll get to work on the X-mas special after getting this up, 2. I don't own Yu-Gi-Oh.
It was a week after the digital pet episode, and I was in the library making up a math test that I missed I don't know when. After I finished my test I walked down to where I knew Yugi and the gang would be. I didn't hurry because of the lapses between episodes, but I got there right after Yugi beat Miho, who was crying. I walked up as Miho was saying it was her first time playing, hmm, it was technically then Magic and Wizards, wasn't it? I think it was so I'm just rolling with it. (Politely correct me if I'm wrong please)
"Why you, Yugi!" Tristan began raging, startling Yugi out of his chair. "You made Miho cry! You're not a man! I, beautification member Tristan Taylor will clean up you're dirtied spirit!"
"Sorry." Yugi said, not sticking up for himself.
"Yo, flamer." I said in Yugi's defense. "It's just a game. Nothing to break knees over."
"Yea Tristan, it's not Yugi's fault." Téa continued. "This is a game."
%Now, cutting in here to be annoying, this next part was difficult to figure out, so please forgive me if I mess it up.%
"Yup, yup. Cool you head, janitor member." Joey poked.
"Beautification manager!"
"Squid member?" Joey asked, then imitating a Tristan voice saying "Yes, yes. White and swimming in the ocean with ten legs. Wriggling around like this and going 'Blurulurulu'." Back in his regular voice, "That's an octopus member."
"No! I'm a beautification manager!"
"A Mandarin member?" Joey asked in his regular voice, then, going back to imitating Tristan's voice, said "Yes, yes. Full of Vitamin C. Round, sweet, a bit acidic Mandarin." Back to regular voice, "How long are you going to keep this up?"
"You're the one forcing me to! I'm talking to Yugi!"
"At any rate, it's not Yugi's fault. There's no reason for him to apologize." Téa butted in. Then Miho finally started crying and cried into Tristan's chest crying "Tristan!" To which Tristan blushed and said "Miho... It is Yugi's fault!"
"Sorry..." Yugi said again, still not sticking up for himself. And because of that, Téa bopped his head and said "I said not to apologize."
"But..." Yugi was about to say more, but the P.A. system chimed in and asked him to the infirmary, to which he asked "Me?"
"Can I come along?" I asked.
"I don't know how interesting it will be." He replied.
"Probably really boring." Téa said, probably not wanting me to take her love interest, not that she knew he was her love interest, but, you get the point.
"So?" I asked, and then just walked out, to which Yugi followed, and I was sure I was receiving a glare from Téa.
That scene was possibly weirder than in the anime. I thought.
I agree. Ami said.
And so, I just stared out windows, not really feeling like conversing, until we made it to the infirmary.
Yugi said excuse me (IDK why), opened the door, and walked inside.
"Ummm..."
"Motou Yugi, right?" The (spoiler alert! But wait, isn't this whole thing a spoiler?) mannequin asked.
"Yes."
"Please enter. And you can too, Elisa."
Kind of expecting this, I walked into the room after Yugi and closed the door.
-Time skip-
The duel just ended and the late bell just rang.
"As a reward for my victory, I will take this card." The mannequin said, holding up Yugi's Neon Night.
"No! Neon Night is an important card too..."
"You two will be late for class."
"That's not fair!" Yugi complained.
"Challenge me again. If I lose, then I'll return it."
"Really? You're definitely going to return it, right?" Yugi asked, hurrying off to class, me going to mine.
-After School-
"So, I have something to do..." Yugi was explaining to Téa in front of the school.
"Wait, Yugi. You're not going to the game center again, are you?" Téa asked.
"Eh, no." He replied.
"Yugi, you put a lot of money into games. You're abusing your grandpa. And why does Elisa have to go?"
"He has the keys and won't hand them over." I said, which was actually true. Don't know why he doesn't, but I'm not complaining.
"It's not the game center. Bye." Yugi said, running off with me following.
"That was close... but I have to try the new fighting game today." He said to himself, momentarily forgetting I was there.
"You're not going to tell, right?" He asked remembering.
"Don't worry about it. I may even play a round with you." I replied.
-At the Game Center-
We're in the middle of the arcade with Yugi looking for the game. I'm trying to help, but I don't know the name of the game, so I'm just looking for anything new because I wanna play an arcade game.
"Huh? Where can it be? I wonder if it's not here yet."
"Excuse me, are you two looking for something?" An arcade person (not sure of official profession name) asked us.
"The new game" Yugi replied.
"Oh, right. Right this way. You two are first. This way."
"Really?! We're first?!" Excited Yugi is excited.
We followed the guy through the door and out the back, and shoved Yugi into the limo, completely forgetting me before they drove off.
"Hey!" I yelled. "I think you're forgetting someone!"
To my surprise, the limo actually backed up, the guy opened the door, yanked me in, closed the door, and drove off again.
As we were driving off, the guy somehow managed to get me in between the front seats and the floor before the back seats while pinning Yugi on the back seats.
What the heck just happened?! I thought
You got your wish
Oh, ha ha.
Hey, it's one for the abridged moments book.
True.
"What are you doing?!" Yugi shouted.
"Dude! Not cool!" I shouted.
"Yugi, let's continue our game." The game Shitennou said in the mannequin voice. I don't remember his name.
"You want your Neon Night card back, right?"
"That voice..."
"It's one of the game Shitennou," Weird Face (the worker guy's new name) said. "Baron Didory Sheldan" Weird Face then reached up and pulled off his mask, revealing none other than (dun, dun, duuuuun!) Kaiba.
"Kaiba!" Yugi said, surprised.
"I will bring you to your knees in the Mansion of Dolls!" Kaiba said.
"Dude, don't you think you're being a bit over-dramatic? I mean, it's just a card game." I said, just for the heck of it.
"SHUT UP OR I'LL THROW YOU OUT OF THIS CAR!" He practically screamed back.
"Okay..."
What the heck was that about? Ami asked.
I don't know... I replied.
"Will you show me a Shadow Game?" Sheldon asked.
-in the Mansion of Dolls-
"Dude, don't you think you should, oh, I don't know, paint the walls, add new carpeting, somehow make this place less creepy?" I asked. I don't usually get freaked out by dolls or stuff, but this thing had ghostly dolls, which ups the creepiness factor by 20 smiling Kaibas.
"Yea, it is kind of creepy..." Yugi agreed.
"Does something about this Mansion of Dolls displease you?" Sheldon asked.
"All those eyes looking at me creep me out." Yugi replied.
"They all want to see you fall to your knees in loss."
"Again, over dramatic." I commented.
"Shut up or you're going out!" Kaiba replied.
"Man, someone has issues."
"Anyway, hurry and pull your card Yugi. Begin the game!"
With this, Sheldon held up Yugi's Neon Night and said "I will use your card first."
"My Neon Night!" Yugi said, not happy.
"Then let's begin. The Baron gets the first turn. Duel!" Kaiba instructed.
"Attack on mountain field!"
"Starting off with that?! Neon Knight's...attack power is too high."
"Now, show me your real power."
"I can't, I can't beat Neon Night. Can't be helped. Then I use Devil Dragon on the wasteland field. Defense."
"You will regret battling so passively. Do you know why I left Neon Night on the mountain? That's because, on the mountain field, the lightning will help him."
After he said that, I guess Kaiba had put together a holographic thing because I saw on the table Neon Night on a mountain directing lightning at Devil Dragon, although it was small and confined to the playing map. Although, it still somehow managed to knock Yugi out of his chair, smoking for some reason. I tried to catch him to stop him from hitting the ground, but I was standing on the other side of his chair. Yea, GREAT planning there.
"Dude! What the crap! You just electrocuted Yugi!" I yelled.
"I told him he would regret it." Sheldon said.
"Yea, but you FREAKING ELECTROCUTED HIM!"
"This is the Mansion of Dolls." Sheldon went on, ignoring me."You lose your life points even if using defense. A fight is a fight. Yugi, if you're going to be in a fight, then come at me!"
Yami then decided to get up saying "That's true."
"How idiotic, being protective and getting hurt." Yami turned around to face Kaiba and Sheldon. "It's my turn. I will attack you, Baron Sheldon. Death Wolf attacks on the forest field."
-Time Skip-
"I attack!" Yami said after realizing how he could defeat Sheldon's doll monsters. "A magic card on Death Wolf. Howl, Death Wolf!"
I then heard a howl and saw Death Wold on a rock howling on the field.
"Th-this is..."
"Using the magic card's power it changes Death Wolf's howl into a destructive wave."
"Armoring it? How cheeky. Burn everything away, Salamander!"
Salamander appeared on the field spewing fire.
"It's no use. A doll monster cannot win against a destructive wave. Just fall into pieces!"
"You b*stard!" After that name calling, Gargoyle and Salamander broke into pieces.
"Oh no! Gargoyle! Salamander!"
"I win. Game over." Yami was standing up now and Sheldon was lying on the floor smoking. "Too bad, Baron Sheldon."
After we got out of the giant dollhouse, Yami turned to me and said "I want answers."
"To what?" I asked, honestly forgetting what had happened when Shadi last showed up.
"To how you knew to be up on the roof that day, how you knew where to come to see me and Ushio, and how you weren't scared at first in the Burger World incident."
"Um..." I said, really not wanting to talk right now. "You'll think I'm insane."
"Shoot."
I then thought about where I should start.
"You promise to not instantly think I'm lieing?" I asked, to which I got a nod. "Okay, I'm not from this dimension. I don't know how I got here, I don't know why I'm here. I just know I'm here. From the dimension I came from, you and everyone we see isn't real. You, originally to me, were just a character from an anime and from manga. One day, while at my school, I passed out and found myself here. And that's pretty much it." I said, leaving out the part about Marik for plot preservation.
"That wasn't that long of a story, and it didn't answer my question fully."
"I wasn't afraid because I'd seen it all. I watched all of the anime."
"But you weren't a part of it before, were you?"
"No, but the parts including me were either minor plot twists or stuff that I could adapt to."
"So you know exactly what's going to happen to everyone?"
"Yes, I don't have a perfect memory, but I still have an idea of what's going on."
"That could be a dangerous tool, you know that, right?"
"Yea. I could destroy the plot at any moment, but that's not the full extent of it."
"No, it isn't. When are you going to tell the others?"
"I, I don't know. I'm only telling you this now because you caught me. Half the time, even with me around, those parts could very well be a part of regular life."
"Alright. That's all I want to know, but you should tell them. Come on, lets go home." We then walked home, Yami leading the way until we got to a familiar spot because I was completely lost. Somewhere along the way, he switched back to Yugi, and when we got back to the Game Shop, we were both completely drenched.
The plot continued normally from there, me laughing hysterically as Téa shoved cards into Yugi's face and calling after her "Thanks! Maybe we will!", to which everyone laughed harder.
Hey guys! Thanks for being patient! Sorry for not being EXACTLY on time, I'm planning to update every other week...but I really have no willpower. The only reason this is getting out tonight is because of Scaehime, thanks by the way! Hope to see you guys again for our Christmas special! Bye!
