Night Of The Meteor Shower

The skies over the Japanese countryside were ablaze with small meteorites racing through the atmosphere. Many children were present there with their friends and families to observe the meteor shower. I, too, was there with my daughters, Karina and Sabrina... We all made wishes together. They wished for their mother to always watch over us from the heavens. I also desired my dear wife Serena to always enjoy peace in the skies above. Soon campfires were started, and the smell of hotdogs and s'mores permeated the unusually warm winter air. But nobody seemed to notice a rogue meteor crash into the mountain range off in the distance...

Looking out my 29th story window, I saw some flashing lights coming from the side of Mt. Fuji. I thought it was just some lightning,so I went to bed for the night. What I failed to notice was that A) there was no thunder, and B) there wasn't a single cloud in the vicinity of the volcano...
