Jackie woke up and noticed she was crying. She looked over and noticed Nick was sleeping peacefully next to her.
"You jerk." She said as she smacked his side before she could stop herself.
Nick's eyes flew open.
"What's wrong was I snoring?" He asked as he looked at her.
It was then he realized that she had been crying.
"Sweetheart what's wrong?" He asked as he lovingly wrapped his arm around her.
"I just had the worst dream."
"About what?"
"I dreamed that you were having an affair. It was awful." She told him as tears again sprang to her eyes.
"It's alright, don't cry, it's just a dream. You know I'd never do that to you." He said as he kissed her forehead.
"It was so real."
"Yeah sometimes dreams are like that." He responded.
She snuggled in closer to him.
"What do you say we try and get back to sleep?"
"Alright, sounds good, I'm sorry I smacked you."
He laughed
"It's ok." He assured her.
Soon they both fell back asleep wrapped in each other's arms.
