When Xephos landed on the strange new planet, he was distraught. His

motherboard ship wasn't answering him, and he couldn't see it in the sky.

He had no provisions or supplies other then the red and black suit he wore

and his communicator, that didn't seem to be working. There was no immediate

danger from the thin woodlands around him, and yet Xephos felt naked without a

weapon or shelter.

The forested area where Xephos stood was warm, and the air was filled with

the sounds of chirping birds. Sun light dappled the ground through the leaves of

the great oak trees.

Xephos was taking this in when he heard a rough voice singing a strange

song. He listened closely until he realized the sound was growing nearer.

Overcome with fear, the spaceman dived into some bushes and lay still.

From where he lay, Xephos could see a squat little man emerge into view.

He had a bushy orange beard and he wore nothing on his chest, other then a sling

to hold a weapon and shoulder guards. On his head was a horned helmet and he

wore iron leggings. In his hands was a huge axe.

He would have seemed threatening and dangerous if not for his size; The

man was about 3 foot 7". Xephos cautiously rose from the bush and greeted the

strange figure.

"Greetings, uh, friend. Do you know where the nearest spaceport is? You

see I-"

He was interrupted by the hearty laughter of the little man. After a few

moments, he spoke.

"Spaceport! Well, yeh must be drunk as a dwarf, 'friend!' "

"Excuse me? I'm-"

"You're excused."

"I'm a highly trained spaceman and I don't have time to chat. Where is the

nearest town?"

"'bout a day's walk north of here. I'm goin there meself so I can take

yeh. You don't seem very familiar with this forest. The name's Honeydew!"

"Thank you kind sir-"

"Dwarf."

"Of coarse. Thank you, dwarf. I am Xephos."
