LeRoux sniffled as she regained her consciousness. She felt the concrete floor on her skin, making her shiver. As her vision cleared she saw she was in another cell. 'Not this again' she thought to herself. She was used to waking up in a cell, with Victor right there. She looked around for Victor but he was no where to be found. She stood up, her eyes changing to red. She went to go melt the bars. As soon as she tried she was thrown back. Hitting the back of the cell, she fell to the floor, coughing because of the blow.

"It wont work in here" a voice told her. LeRoux looked up and saw the blue figure. "The band on your arm."

"What do you want from me?" LeRoux asked.

"Oh its not you I want" Mystique flashed a smile. "I just need you for a trade-off." LeRoux looked at her confused.

"Who are you?" LeRoux asked.

"Mystique"

"Why are you doing this?"

Mystique looked at the girl on the floor. She looked so much like her father. She couldn't believe Erik had a child. She loved Erik, a long time ago. But as years went on, their relationship was strained. The moment she found out about the kid she went and found Erik in his metal cave. Erik told her it was a mistake, he had gotten drunk and it was a one night stand. Erik told Mystique that the kid was nothing to worry bout. Little did both of them know that the kid would become one of the most powerful mutants there is. "She got it from her dad" Mystique joked with him, once they found out about LeRoux and how she had gained a mutation.

Mystique ignored the girls question and walked away, leaving LeRoux in the dim light of the cell.

The tears started to come to LeRoux's eyes. She curled up, just letting the tears fall. She missed Victor, she missed Logan, and she even missed the rest of the xmen. All of them had grown on her. She missed the fatherly nature of Hank, the mother nature of Ororo. She missed Colossus and Kurts Xbox tourneys and how much they got into them.

Charles looked at the two men. Charles sat in front of his desk. Logan sat on the coach with Ororo while Victor and Hank stood.

"Victor, when was the last time you saw LeRoux?" he asked.

"two days ago. She left early in the morning yesterday. She left a note, but didn't say where she was going. I figured she'd come back here because this is where Logan is" Victor explained.

Logan thought about what Victor said. If Victor knew, then LeRoux did something to show she cared about Logan. Logan's heart string's tugged. It had been 9 days since he saw her. All he wanted to do was hold her. He wanted to tell her how he felt, again, over and over, but maybe it was too late.

"Maybe it was Mystique. Think about it. Why else would she attack Kitty? She usually leaves us alone, especially with out Erik" Hank asked.

"That's a good point" Charles nodded. He thought about Raven. His heart strings tugged. She had gone down such a different past. He knew she wasn't a killer, but her with Erik, she had changed.

"Could Erik be behind this?" Ororo asked.

"I dont think so" Charles replied. "I've kept track of him, ever since the camping attack. He disappeared, off the grid. Cerebro can't pick him up."

"Or hes in trouble" Victor suggested. Charles raised his eyebrow and Victor caught it. "He isn't scared of you Charles. There's not reason he would take himself off the grid, unless someone, someone dangerous, was looking at him. Mystique is the one we should be looking at."

"Why would Mystique want LeRoux?" Logan questioned.

"Where would she take her?" Hank asked.

"If there's anything I know about Raven, Mystique, is that she wouldn't do this by herself. There's always a reason." Charles replied.

"Well, all I know is that Mystique better not touch a hair on LeRoux's head." Logan grasped his fist.

Victor looked at Logan. He agreed in his head. Victor rolled his eyes of the thought appearing in his mind. He couldn't and wouldn't .
