smut.
Bolin sulked against the wall, holding his head in his hands as he finished off his fourth beer. Although, his relationship with his brother seemed to be back on track, he couldn't shake the loneliness the came along with rejection from every single girl he had ever cared about or tried to pursue.
It didn't help his mood that he missed Korra. She was traveling to each of the four nations, discussing the open portals and merging of the two worlds. It'd been a lonely few months without her.
So his ears had perked up when he heard Korra's voice emerge over the music and white noise surrounding him. The only problem was that she wasn't talking to him. She was curled around some pompous pretty boy, dressed in firebender red, who vaguely resembled his brother.
"You're the sexiest Avatar ever," he said, dragging the back of his hand over her cheek.
Bolin coughed, spitting out his drink. If he thought your line was corny then there something seriously wrong with the words coming out of your mouth. It didn't help that they were aimed at his friend, a girl he had been in love with in what seemed like forever ago.
He stood up, grabbing his drink and walking toward the couple. There was no way that he was going to let Korra do this to herself while he just sat by and watched, no way no how.
"Korra," he yelled over the music, inviting himself to sit across from the intertwined couple in the booth.
At the sound of her name, Korra, pushed the pretty boy away, her cheeks flushing red in embarrassment. "Bolin," she sputtered out, almost knocking her drink down with her elbow.
"Who's this guy?"
Korra ignored him, her eyes staring wide at Bolin. There was a reason why she hadn't told anyone that she had gotten back into the city and it was to avoid an awkward meeting like this, other only other worse person she could've seen at the bar would have been Mako, but Bolin wasn't much better.
"Leave," she muttered to the guy whose name she couldn't even recall at the moment.
His mouth was agape as he stared at her. "Are you kidding me?"
Korra shook her head, bending enough air at him to push him out of the booth, hoping that was enough for him to get her point across; she was no longer going home with him.
Bolin was momentarily amused by the situation, before he remembered why that guy was all over Korra in the first place and then the smile fell from his lips.
He moved around the table, sitting next to Korra.
"What are you doing, Korra?" He ran a hand down his face in frustration. "This isn't you. Do you even know that guy?"
She figured the question was better left unanswered. Bolin didn't need to know she had just met that guy fifteen minutes before he had interrupted him and that she had been ready to spend the night at his place.
"Korra?" He grabbed her chin, forcing her to look away from the dirty bar floor and into his eyes. "Seriously, talk to me."
She pushed away his arm, taking a drink from her glass. "You wouldn't understand, Bolin. Just drop it."
The earthbender was annoyed. When anything serious came up, this was everyone's reaction when he asked to help. There was more to him then being the bumbling comedic relief of Team Avatar. He expected that kind of reaction from everyone else, but he hoped Korra would know better than that, would think more of him. "You know what you're right, Korra, an idiot like me couldn't understand what you're going through. Sorry for caring. I won't make the same mistake again."
There was no way she was letting Bolin leave upset with her, so ran out, turning both ways in search of the broad-shouldered earthbender. She spotted him off in the distance; his hands in his pockets and his shoulders slumped forward.
She ran, stumbling on her feet a few times, before she caught up to him. "Stop," she murmured, grabbing his shoulder. "Don't be mad at me."
He spun her, grabbing her hips and pressing her against the brick building beside them. "Why Korra? Why were you going to waste yourself on someone like him? Someone who could care less where you end up in the morning? Who would probably kick you out right after? I don't understand."
She pressed her forehead against his, happy for the warmth he was radiating, warmth that wrapped around her. The only thing she was looking for was a warm body, just someone to hold her like Bolin was holding her right now.
"I'm lonely. I just wanted to be with someone for little bit. I just wanted to be held."
He sighed, his breath hot against her skin. "I can do that-I can be that for you." His hands reached toward her face, his knuckle sliding down the edge of her face. "I would rather you do something like that with me, someone who cares about you, someone who loves you."
"But Bo-"
He interrupted her by sealing his lips over hers, taking her bottom lip between his and lightly running his teeth over it. Her eyes fluttered shut, her hands fisting the material of his shirt.
She was the first to pull away, her breath coming out in pants. "We shouldn't do this, Bolin. You're my best friend."
He kissed the hollow of her throat, swallowing her word's vibrations. "I can still be your best friend, best friends help each other in their times of need."
Korra gasped, Bolin's tongue circling the shell of her ear. "Best friends?" He whispered, sending a shiver down her spine.
She nodded, her grip on his shirt tightening. "Let's get out of here."
He smiled against her skin. "I thought you'd never ask."
xxx
He chuckled, holding the Avatar up by the back of her thighs. "I can't really reach for my keys if I'm holding you up."
Korra laughed, but continued sucking on his neck, leaving a dark mark the shape of her mouth on his pale skin.
"Oh fuck Korra, we're not even inside yet."
She blindly reached down, her slim hand sliding over his hardened length. "Well, those aren't your keys."
He caught her mouth, mumbling against her lips, "no definitely not." Fed up with her teasing wandering hands, Bolin balanced her with one hand, and grabbing the keys and unlocked the door without her help.
Still attempting to balance her with only one hand, he stumbled on one of Pabu's toys and the couple fell to the floor. Korra cackled, holding her stomach as she fought to stop her laughter.
"This would only happen with us, Bolin."
He chuckled, pulling her into his body, the edge of his fingertips sliding underneath his shirt.
She stilled under his touch, her eyes still warm from the laughing. She leaned into him, tilting her head up to kiss him. Her tongue slid along the seam of his lips, until he opened his mouth, her tongue sliding in, immediately moving against his. Her fingers found the edge of his shirt, unbuttoning from the bottom up, her thin fingers sliding against undershirt. She groaned against his mouth. He was wearing too many layers as far as she was concerned.
"Off," she muttered against his mouth.
Bolin shrugged off his shirt, moving in for another kiss, but Korra pulled away, tugging his undershirt up. The Avatar ran her hands down his chest, her lips following their path until she reached his pants. She kissed along his hipbones, her fingers unbuttoning his pants and pulling them to his ankles. He groaned, feeling her hot breath against his cock.
He grabbed her arms, pulling her back up. "You are wearing too many clothes." He unbuttoned her shirt, his thick fingers stumbling from eagerness. His eyes were wide, hoping to finally take in the magnificent breasts he knew were hiding underneath her layers of clothes and furs.
"What the fuck is this?" He asked fingering her bindings. "Why would you do this to them?"
She cocked her eyebrow at him. "If you have to ask then you'll never understand."
He childishly tugged at the bindings, his fingers too thick to undo the knot underneath her armpit. She giggled, her fingers replacing his. "Eager are we?"
He nodded, his hands reaching to her hips, untying the furs and pushing her pants down to her ankles where she kicked them off. Bolin dragged his hands up her legs, his fingers digging into the skin at her thighs, before reaching her hips. His fingers curled around her last piece of clothing, inching her panties down her legs, his eyes focused on the newly uncovered skin.
Korra sat up, climbing onto the surprised earthbender, pressing her body to his, her fingers sliding down his chest into his shorts, her small hands wrapping around his length, her movements languid as she dragged her palm up and down. Bolin grunted, sliding his hand up her body, palming her breast as he tilted his head to capture her lips.
She murmured for him to take off his shorts, which the earthbender did eagerly, kicking them across the room in haste.
Korra pushed him onto his back. She kissed the edge of his mouth, her lips finding his pulse point and latching on as she positioned him underneath her. She sunk down, her suction increasing as she sunk down onto him.
Bolin groaned, his fingers sinking into the meaty flesh of her ass. "Fuck, Korra. You feel amazing."
The Avatar released his neck, forcing herself to focus on adjusting to his length and thickness. "Spirits, Bolin. You could've warned a girl."
"That big, huh?" His thick eyebrows wiggled up and down.
"Shut up."
He grinned, but his smile slipped away from his face as Korra sat up, her hands spread on his chest as she brought herself up and down on his length. The sight alone was doing him in.
"Now this would make a good mover. If only I had one of Varrick's cameras."
Korra slapped his chest, continuing to move, but this time a smile gracing her features.
Feeling his resolve slipping away, Bolin grabbed her by the back of her thighs and lifted her onto the nearest surface, his kitchen table. He re-positioned himself at her entrance, sliding inside of her as his mouth pressing hot wet kisses to her breasts.
"You're so beautiful," he murmured kissing a scar on her ribcage.
"You don't have to pretend. I know they're ugly."
Bolin shook his head, his bottom lip sliding up to her collarbone, kissing a scar the shape of a crescent moon. He would play connect the dots with her scars all day if that's what it took. He thought they were beautiful. She was beautiful, staring down at him with hooded lids, the moonlight streaming through his window.
"Every part of you is beautiful, Korra. I'm not pretending."
She closed her eyes, tightening herself around him to bring his attention back to the task at hand.
He grinned, bringing an arm underneath her torso, bringing her into his arms. His length slid in and out of her, arduously, enough to keep the coil in her stomach from loosening, but not enough to make it tighten.
"Faster," she murmured, kissing the edge of his shoulder, her fingers raking through his hair.
Bolin grabbed her thighs, pulling her to the very edge of the table, his pace quickening, one arm around Korra's torso making sure there wasn't an inch between their bodies as his other gripped her hip, grunts escaping his lips. He wouldn't allow himself to finish before she did, but it was getting harder and harder to ensure that would happen.
Korra cried out his name, pulling on the hair at the nape of his neck.
Bolin continued on, his movements growing in strength, his hips knocking into hers with every thrust until he stopped, the grip on her hip tightening, a slur of swears falling from his lips.
"That was," Korra started, her breaths still coming out in pants.
"Amazing," Bolin finished, his lips crushing against hers. "Now we just have to do it in every single room, and on every piece of furniture."
Korra groaned, she wasn't quite sure she was ready for a friends with benefits situation with Bolin.
