Following the events of Mirror, Mirror, Kirk wants the elusive planet Cursioa to join the Federation. Spock wants to piece back together a shattered mind. And McCoy wants more than anything for the past to die a swift, quiet death.

Lieutenant Marinette LeBeau has just been assigned to the Enterprise. She was career focused and wanted to make her dreams come true. What she didn't expect was to fall in love.

"You passed out three times, Bones!" Jim sucked in a breath. "Four." Leonard corrected, nodding towards the bathroom as he tried to pull his hands away from his shirt collar. "Once in there." Why wouldn't he stop sweating? "That's even worse!" (Even doctors get sick, but when Leonard tries to pass a lingering illness off as nothing, his lies come back to bite him.)
