Five years back, if you were to ask our favourite dragon slayer Natsu Dragneel, what Love meant the obvious answer may or may not be something related to friendship.

Yes he was dense.. But not dense enough to not understand the meaning of Love.. But something he did not realize is that Love has it's own forms! Certainly indeed, friendship is one form of love. But there is a form of love where you can give up on the whole world with a smile just to be with a single person who alone means the entire world to you.

That person is someone whom you can trust your smile, tears, hidden secrets and life with. Someone you would learn to love more than the others. Someone you would care for, more than anyone else. Someone whose smile, brightens up your world. Someone, you will cherish and desire..

Even though Love and Friendship are two different things, Natsu had no idea that a simple friendship will lead him to the strongest feelings of all.. Love.

Five years later.. Today when Natsu wakes up with a beautiful sleeping figure by his side, he can't help but smile and feel blessed.. The heat he emits because of his dragon slayer magic is nothing compared to the one he feels today somewhere in his heart.. The warmth so intense that it never fails to amuse him whenever she is anywhere near..

He bends down and places a kiss on those beautiful pink lips soft as petals and tastes like strawberry, a habit that he has developed in the last six months.. And he knew he would never get used to the butterflies in his stomach while doing so.. Afterall, It had always been the same since the first kiss they shared! The feelings are still new and fresh.. And one thing Natsu can bet billion jewels on, is that he would never be able to have enough of it..

Cause today he is not as clueless as he was five years ago! Today he knew what this form of Love really meant.. The most special feeling in the entire world that can only be felt for a special someone.. And now that he has that special someone in his life, he never could wish for anything more!

"Natsu .. Why are you not sleeping? It's still too early.." she whispered.. Her voice tired and barely audible .. Her chocolate-brown orbs sleep-laced ..

"Huh?" Her voice brought him out of his thoughts.. Upon noticing his fiancee watching him with curiosity he gave a peck on her cheeks before showing her the grin that she loves the most..

"I know.. Go to sleep again sleepy-head. I will do the same, ok?" she smiled and nodded.. He pulled her closer by her waist.. Her head resting on his bare chest.. And in a few seconds she was back to dream-land.. Natsu knew as he could feel her constant slow breathing.. He kissed her forehead for the last time before closing his eyes, letting sleep overcome him as well!

I can get used to this .. For the rest of my life..

This time he dreamt of her.. Her smile.. Oh that smile.. The brightness and warmth it emits can even put the sun into shame!

So what if five years ago Love meant only friendship bonds to Natsu, today if you ask him the same question he will smile and say,
