Dark's POV
Today, Link, Aureolin, a keaton we met, and I went out to Lost Woods and set up camp in a big area- compared to the rest of this place. I gathered twigs and set up a campfire as the three of us nestled up around it in our blankets. I had a black one, Link had a green one, and Aureolin had a yellow one.
Link was in his usual green hat and tunic, brown boots and white tights and undershirt, his blonde hair and blue eyes reflecting the color of the flames. Aureolin with his three giant yellow tails with black tips at the ends and his slim yellow pointed ears straight up with black tips at the ends. He never opened his eyes, as tough it seemed, how did he know where he was going when he walked? They were always squinted and outlined in black. He had a small black nose that was shaped into a upside down rounded triangle. I was in my usual black hat and tunic, boots and gray tights and undershirt, staring into the flames like everyone else, my red eyes glowing slightly, and my gray skin and black hair becoming highlighted in orange, due to the campfire.
"Let's tell stories!", Link exclaimed cheerfully.
"I found this-", I held out a secret diary, "-on the way over here."
"Let's do it!", Aureolin shouted.
I skipped a couple of pages in the book and found one page titled,"Taxi". The date on the page was, "10-13-2004".
"2004?", I asked out loud.
"How is that even possible?", Link asked.
"It must be from the future...", Aureolin trailed off.
"Well, whatever the case is, let's read it anyway."
Link shrugged and Aureolin nodded.
Then I started to read out loud, "Today, I took a taxi home at 12:00 midnight. The taxi dropped me off and I went inside my house. I later woke up to the sound of a car engine outside. I went outside to check what the noise was, and it was the same taxi that had brought me home, except no one was driving it. It backed up on it's own and came at me. Next thing I knew, I was in the hospital. To whoever reads this, never take a taxi home at 12:00 midnight."
I looked up from the book to see Link and Aureolin clinging on to each other.
"Oh c'mon! It wasn't that scary!"
"Yes it was!", they both trembled.
Then we all jolted into the direction of the sound of rumbling coming from a black and yellow structure with 2 lights, and it flew straight at us. Next thing I knew, I was in the hospital.
