What was their first kiss like?
It was soft and tentative, more like an expression of intent combined with a question of if Rachel's feelings were going to be accepted. Having kept her hands cupped on his face, barely moving back to see his expression, a giant, hopeful smile had bloomed as she took in Sam's closed eye, lips still pursed position. "You understand now?" she whispered. "Oh yeah," he had smiled in response, opening his eyes just to meet her gaze, "I totally want to try us, too."
Where were they when they first had sex?
As unexciting as it might sound, it was Rachel's bed. After one of Sam's football games where he had thrown the winning pass, halfway through his senior year, Rachel had surprised him with a 'Team Sam' shirt and wide smile as soon as he'd left the locker room. Spending their needed hour at the after-party to be polite, they'd excused themselves as soon as they could for private celebration, barely making it up to Rachel's room before clothing was fully taken off and adoring, excited whispers and laughs led to adoring, excited gasps and moans as Rachel buried her fingers in Sam's hair, staring into his darkened eyes as he held himself over her. "Ready?" he had whispered, breathing in deeply. And, "Ready," Rachel had promised, pulling him into a deep kiss for as long as she had been able to handle, having to pull away to moan and arch and wrap her legs around his waist as he pushed forward.
Who's louder?
Rachel is. Sam's just gotten so good at touching and teasing every spot that drives her crazy that she just can't keep her voice to herself. Though she likes that he can't keep quiet when she gets him to her own devices, he's still more of a grunter and moaner, leaving all of the high-pitched exhalations to her.
Who wakes up first?
It's still Rachel. Sam likes his late mornings, especially since he often gets to bed later than Rachel does. It's a side-effect of his job at ESPN as one of their more popular sports talk show hosts, and though he loves his job, he still loves getting home in time to join Rachel in bed more. Some mornings, he even convinces Rachel to sleep in with him, refusing to unwrap his arms from around her before she laughs and finally gives up, making him promise that they'll have to have more vigorous sex to make up for her lack of morning exercise. It's not like he would turn that down, anyways, so getting more time with her in his arms plus rougher sex? Win-win.
Who performs or receives oral more often?
Normally, it's Rachel, who likes to take advantage of her lack of gag reflex to prove just how superior at giving head she is than anyone else Sam's been with. She's just a little insecure about that, considering Sam had dated more than his share of girls before they became official-official (not to mention the perks of being a stripper that he'd enjoyed), so any time she can make him melt and become putty in her hands just by giving him a blowjob, it's totally a win. Doesn't help that she really, really likes giving them, either, as well as Sam loves receiving them. Sam, for his part, has nothing against going down on Rachel, and he even enjoys it, too, but it's not as common for him to do so because Rachel normally doesn't have the patience to fully enjoy them. There are exceptions of course, including in her dressing room at the intermission of her first Broadway show, but normally she enjoys getting off on his fingers or dick instead. Besides, his unshaven jaw can be uncomfortable sometimes (though other times it just drives her crazy; Sam loves those days).
Who tries new things more often?
Rachel. She has an inquisitive mind that never stops being curious about how, if possible, she can make their lovemaking even more amazing, and her interest certainly isn't helped by the fact that her coworkers aren't shy in sharing whatever they've tried recently. Sam, for his part, has nothing against trying new things, but there have been a few things that took him a little bit to agree to. It's not that he's not interested, but getting tied up while they're visiting his parents? Definitely not something he wanted to do. Rachel had made him promise that they'd do it as soon as they'd gotten home instead, and judging at how vocal he'd gotten, Sam had been so thankful he'd put his foot down on that one (even if, instead, they'd taken turns going down on each other during two bathroom breaks while everyone else sang Christmas songs - the feeling of Rachel's throat vibrating as she hummed along was something he was never going to forget).
If they had to choose a third person to include, who would it be?
Though it had taken Rachel a long enough time to admit that she'd once had a dream about getting double-teamed, Sam had surprisingly been understanding and a bit excited at the thought. Though neither would want it to be an often thing, or probably even happen more than once, they had discussed that if they were to bring another guy into their bedroom, it would probably be someone like Puck (though Kurt and Blaine's names had been thrown out before being vetoed because they probably wouldn't be into Rachel), as he was someone who didn't have too much of an intimate relationship with either Sam or Rachel, and he always seemed like someone who would be up for the experience at least once. As for another female, after finding out how surprisingly little Sam had actually gotten with her, it hadn't taken long to agree that Santana would be a good choice. It's not like both hadn't kissed her, and they had a really good relationship, all three of them, so really, if she could put up sexually with Sam even just a little (and it's not like he'd force himself on her, anyway), it was almost too obvious that she was the perfect choice.
