I'm sorry. I'm sorry about the late update. Things were hectic and I discovered some things about myself and it's been a bit hard. This chapter is slightly solemn, but there's some crack in there somewhere- I think. Anyways on with the story!

It was the day of the Genin team selections and all of the students who had passed the Academy test were excited about the team pickings, as some wanted to be with their friends and others wanted to be with the hot, Rookies of the Year.

Yes, Uzumaki Naru and Uchiha Sasuke were the Rookies of their year and they usually fought over who deserved to be the top Genin, and those fights usually had Naru come out on top due to her past relations with Sasuke and Itachi.

And due to the fact that she enjoyed using the art of surprise.

And seduction.

And because she's a prankster.

Students began to arrive at the academy and as they did, they went straight to their classroom, their excitement showing. No one knew what the placements could be except for the sensei's and 5 people- one of them being Shikamaru.

As everyone else was to be separated into a frontal fighter, an infiltrator and a medic-nin, the clan heirs were to be put into a different category. He knew that he, Choji and Ino were to make up the next Ino-Shika-Cho trio, to take over the title for their generation. He also knew that Hinata, Shino and Sakura would be on one team to become the infiltration team. That left Naru, Sasuke and Kiba to be the attackers and to be the typical team of a male Rookie, a female Rookie and the Deadlast.

Or maybe the Hokage had gone for the second option. Disregarding past legendary teams and typical choosings, the second option was extremely...lively. And unexpected.

Shikamaru sighed as he contemplated the troublesome teams.

Naruto silently fumed as she decided to speak to her Jiji later on in the day for potentially placing her on a team with two of her ex-boyfriends. While she acknowledged them both as comrades and suitable shinobi, she just knew that she would be surrounded by testosterone, due to the rivaly between the two, and that she would most likely have the Copy-Cat Ninja Hatake Kakashi as her sensei due to him being the only Sharingan wielder who could train Sasuke.

The other person to know the placements was Shino. His father was on the council, and while he couldn't tell him anything directly, his bugs could. He had known the placements for a while now, and he knew exactly which team his son would be placed on and which way the Hokage finally decided to place the clan heirs.

"Okay everyone, quiet down now!" Iruka shouted as he entered the classroom holding a clip board with many papers that held the words to his speech and the information about the teams.

Once the class settled down, Iruka sighed and began his speech, looking down at the paper only a few times.

"Now, being a Genin isn't just a title…"

Naru tuned that out as she had already heard about it from other people and instead focused on the night that happened two days ago. In celebration of her becoming a shinobi, she had a night dedicated to her. She sang, she danced, she watched people sing and dance, she drank, she kissed, she touched….

Suddenly Naru flushed lightly, gaining the attention of Shino, and a sleepy Shikamaru who had picked up on the difference in her. Shino twitched towards her direction, but went back to listening to Iruka's speech, and Shikamaru raised his head slightly, opening one bleary eye before falling straight back asleep.

Naru looked at none of them as her blush went down, and she avoided thinking about…dirty things.

"Ok, so now I'm going to read out your teams…"

Once again, she tuned him out and she vaguely wondered about who was on her team. She wouldn't mind the first choice much since she did kinda have a bond with Kakashi and Sasuke and Kiba wouldn't be too irritating...

" Team 1, Utage Ren,…"

It's not like she talked to the other members of her class, so she didn't really mind about what team they were on. However, she would be keeping an ear out for people that she knew.

"Your sensei will be Morino Ibiki..."

"Team 7, Akimichi Choji" At this Naru sat up straighter, knowing now that her name could be called at any moment.

Clan heirs were usually called last anyways,

"Inuzuka Kiba" The canine boy looked at his chubby childhood friend, and they both shared grins.

"And Hyuuga Hinata"

Well that would prove to be interesting if her friend's blush was any indication. Kiba wasn't making anything a secret, as he flashed a smile at her with a slightly cocky look.

'If that Inuzuka touches my girl in any wrong way tonight- if ever-, he's gonna see the Rikudo Sennin soon' Naru thought viciously as she missed who their sensei would be. 'Eh, it doesn't matter, I'll find out later…"

"Team 8, Yamanaka Ino..." The platinum blonde haired girl suddenly started searching the remainder of the Genin to see if she had any friends left. She smiled when her gaze landed on Sakura.

"Haruno Sakura…"

Ino's smile widened and Sakura blew a kiss to her and returned the smile.

"And Uchiha Sasuke" the slightly brooding boy looked over at his two female teammates and simply cocked his head at them before continuing to looking out the window "Your sensei is Hatake Kakashi"

Naru quietly sucked in a breath as she realised who she would be on a team with. 'So Jiji did go with the second option...But he swapped a person from Team 7!'

"Team 9 is in rotation from last year, so Team 10 is Aburame Shino…" the 'bug-boy' had no reaction whatsoever, apart from the fact that his bugs buzzed louder for a second.

"Nara Shikamaru…" like Shino, Shikamaru had no response- he was still asleep.

"And Uzumaki Naru" some eyes turned towards the red-haired beauty to see her expression, only to have fierce blushes as she smiled a sultry smile towards the majority of team. "Your sensei is Mitarashi Anko"

With that, Iruka placed his clipboard back onto his desk and clapped his hands together getting the attention of the students who were whispering about their team arrangements. He gave them all a big smile but on the inside he felt slightly sad; he had watched them all grow up for almost 9 years, and now they were all technically adults, ready to go out into to the world and get their hands dirty.

He examined each of them and wondered how they all grew up so fast. There was Kiba who started out as a loud and cute child with his newborn puppy, and now he was a pervert and the puppy was grown.

There was Ino; who was a child who was a bit of a tomboy and always wore a burnt orange top and had short hair, but now she had long blonde hair, purple clothes and was far from being a tomboy. Then there was Sakura- her best friend- who kept her hair short all throughout the years and grew out from that shy persona that she had for a while.

Sasuke might have had most of the changes through the years. He started off as an energetic and friendly boy for about two years, then turned into a silent, rude and brooding emo boy after his clan's death. Then something happened and he was a lighter and cheerful boy for some time, though now he was just a silent, yet happier and helpful young adult.

Even though Iruka loved all of his students dearly, if he had to pick one student to present to the world as his proudest achievement, he would pick the one and only, Uzumaki Naru- his surrogate younger sister/daughter.

She had grown from a tiny, cute and sometimes tearful child with her light, fiery red hair in a fishtail braid, into an average sized, beautiful and- dare he say- man eater or 'manizer'. While he is aware of all of the choices that Naru has made, that doesn't mean that he is happy with them.

Besides, Genma is always there to look after her when he can't.

Taking in a big breath, Iruka prepared to say his few last words to his class before they left him for good.

"You are all ninja now. I have said what I wanted to say earlier, but just keep this in mind as you meet your senseis' today. Teamwork is the key. Do not let the enemy get to you, and remember, I'll always be here to talk when you need to, whether I'm teaching a class or relaxing in the teacher's lounge. You all know my address too. I advise you all to stick together and remember to interact with people outside of your team. Good luck and be careful"

The class was left smiling at their long term sensei. He had become a sort of father or second father or brother to the students in the class- no exceptions. Those words from him were not only a blessing, but it was also proof that they were all capable of becoming ninja.

"Now go off to lunch! Your sensei's will be here in two hours!"

Two hours, two hours…how much havoc could one spread in two hours? How much fun could one have in two hours? How much se-

Naru shook her head fiercely in an attempt to get her mind out of the gutter. Last night she did a three hour shift at Ichatsuku no Neko during her party, and while she didn't have to have sex, she did have to partake in some…sexual dances that had her now constantly thinking about them. Add that to the fact that after her and her dance buddies and Genma came back from shopping earlier that weekend, they went to a party hosted by the Fire Daiymo in his mansion at the outskirts of Konoha. They had effectively gotten wasted and had all decided to- once again- crash at Naru's place, but not before lap dances were given.

Naru blushes slightly and grimaced. She was acting like a school girl with a crush- she hadn't blushed this much since she was first learning about the Red Light District qualities.

Anyways, they had two hours before their sensei's arrived and as she looked up, her gaze landed on Shikamaru who was already looking at her, so she gave him a wink and slowly stood to start making her way over to him. She bit the inside of her cheek to stop herself from laughing, as Shikamaru instantly turned his head away from her and placed it back down into his hands, obviously hiding his red face.

She made her way to him in a highly provocative way, and he watched her from the corner of his eye as the rest of his face was covered. She tapped Hinata on her way to him, and she got up, taking Kiba with her and following Naru towards the Nara. Along the way, Shino had joined them silently- he did that often. Quickly, they had made it to Shikamaru and by then, his blush had faded and his head was raised.

"What is it Naru?" Hinata had asked when they had all settled down on the desks or the chairs.

Naru raised an eyebrow "Isn't it obvious? We have two hours, we have our team assignments, and it's the last day we can do something that can be passed off as a 'school assignment' or 'kids just being kids'. I wanna do something big, guys. Something extremely memorable"

Shikamaru blinked at her then sighed. "Naru we only have two hours…"

Naru huffed impatiently "Yes I know that, which is why we should take Iruka sensei's advice and 'interact with people outside of our team', nē?"

Suddenly, Kiba began laughing. Naru looked at him amused since she knew why he was laughing.

"You-you want t-to haha! You want to do that? With everyone here?! Haha, Naru you are a genius!"

Naru smiled a satisfied smile- one very different to the sexy smiles that she usually gives.

"I knew there was a reason that we dated…Anyways, Sasuke, Ino, Sakura! Come here for a second! Choji, you too!"

How it happened, no one really knows, but what is known is that the Hokage mountain, the Hokage Tower and ANBU headquarters were not only covered in tissue, but were also covered in crude drawings of people having sex, or profanities spread out in big letters. The Hokage mountain was defiled so much, that it looked like the Shodaime and the Nidaime were kissing. All across the Yondaime's face was "SHREK IS LOVE, SHREK IS LIFE". Exploding tags were set up all around ANBU headquarters and every single room of the building had a seal that had permanent paint exploding out from it when someone stepped into it.

Upon seeing this- or experiencing it-, one by one, the ANBU members dropped to their knees and began praying. It started off with a seemingly untouched and obviously male ANBU with a hawk mask.

"Oh Kami-sama, please let these evil, barbaric, blunt and crude children become Hunter nin so that- what? What do you mean you mean they put graffiti on my mask? WHEN DID THEY GET MY MASK?! I'VE BEEN WEARING MY MASK ALL DAY!"

Somewhere, Naru was sitting down having lunch with all of her shinobi friends, while cuddling into an amused Genma.

"We still have 45 minutes left…"

And there! Btw, Ichatsuku no Neko is the place where Naru dances. I chose Kakashi to stay with Team 7, because first of it's practically tradition and he still need to help Sasuke with Sharingan. Anyways, I finished writing this on 15/06/2014, but you guys won't get for at least another week or two! Sorry!

Hunter nin basically hunt rogur ninjas and sometimes on searches they die- but only sometimes, it's very rare. Also hunter nin are rarely ever in the village.

P.s Don't ask how Naru always finds Genma anywhere- she just does.
