Summary: One-shot/song fic. Willow and Tara. Willow hears Tara singing as she is changing in the bathroom and asks Tara to sing her to sleep when she returns to the room.

Valentine's Day: This Time
Standing by the window, Willow smiled as she heard her lover start humming in the bathroom. It still amazed her how easily Tara had stollen her heart. It had taken Oz so long to completely earn her love, but even then, it wasn't nothing like what she felt with Tara. Closing her green eyes, Willow listened to the song of her lover drift through the air and surround her like a warm blanket.
Maybe its the way that the stars are aligned

A short pause followed, and Willow heard Tara start to make the sounds that would go with the music, causing a small laugh to escape Willow at the cuteness of her lover.

After another break, Willow expected to hear Tara continue, but instead heard the bathroom door open and smiled at her girlfriend standing before her in boxer shorts and a tank top. "Hey, Beautiful," Willow whispered, watching as her lover made her way to her side.
"Hi, yourself," Tara responded, wrapping her arms around Willow's waist as she kissed the redhead softly. "What's got you so amused?"
"You do with your adorable bathroom singing."
Tara blushed brightly and shook her head. "I didn't know you could hear me."
"I could, and I enjoyed it. I always love hearing you sing," Willow told her before kissing her once again and climbing into their bed. "Will you sing for me again?"
Tara blushed once more, but nodded at Willow's request. Climbing into bed behind her lover, Tara wrapped her arms around Willow's small waist and picked up where she left off.

That's making all the pieces fit
Making it all make perfect sense
Tara smiled brightly and kissed the top of Willow's head when she felt the redhead's fingers start drawing patterns on her hand as she continued to sing.

Lowering her voice at the sound of Willow's soft snores, Tara finished the song quietly, knowing that she needed to finish the song so that her soul could feel rested.

Or the sound of the rain on my windowsill
After another quick kiss to Willow's head, Tara closed her eyes and fell into a peaceful dream as she held her love in her arms.
