Lucy opened her eyes weakly to see Seth stretched over a log, his mouth open and a bird pecking at his hair. Lucy was amused to see the wren try and snuggle into his sandy locks, before he woke up and batted it away.
"My hair is not a nest!" He yelled. Lucy giggled at him, then looked at him sadly.
"why did you let me live" she asked not looking at Seth
"Because I love you Lucy" he said "I cant and wont see a single drop of your precious blood be spilt"
Tears started to fill Lucy's eyes
Seth leaned over and hugged Lucy
"That's why I wont let you die" Seth whispered in Lucy's ear
