Chapter 5: Bloodshed tears
Blood.
The life force of all living creatures. The undead are cursed to feed on this life force to sustain their physical form. As they have traded their humanity for power, once they die there is now no place in heaven for them. Only the fiery pits of hell from whence their new bodies have been forged. Then there are those who use this power to destroy these beings, undead or not they serve under God and will be ensured a fitting afterlife for their contribution.

"Excuse me miss Victoria? We are approaching the drop zone, so please suit up and get ready for deployment."*
Seras stood up from her chair and stood by the entrance. "Yes, thank you sir. But why not send normal troops? It isn't like there will be many of them down there, plus I have no idea what I'm suppose to find down there."
The pilot turned to look at her in his chair. "Well, since what happened in London not many have applied to join the Hellsing organisation. And the ones that have are still in training, as many mercenary groups were killed during the war. They want the job done right, so they sent you."
With a push of a button the doors of the helicopter slid open. "Oh, that reminds me. Don't use your harkonnen inside the bunker, it'll cave in on you easily."
She dropped her rifle then made her way out of the helicopter. "Noted, I'll probably be gone for a while. I'll be sure to contact you as soon as possible so that you can pick me up."
The helicopter rose from the ground and soon disappeared behind the trees and into the darkness. Seras began looking for the train tracks that led to the camp, knowing the bunker was based underneath it.
An hour had passed but no luck was received . What was meant to be an easy mission turned into a trek through the forest, she was unable to find any trace of the tracks or the building. Seras was close to giving up, but attempted to catch the scent of the camp, maybe the smell of rotten corpses . As she took in the air it churned her insides. The smell of chlorine, sulphur and other substances filled her longs. Seras teared up to the thought of those that were shot, beaten to death and dissected by the Nazis. Sending shivers down her spine and filled her mouth with vomit. But she swallowed it down and tensed up, she had to keep every drop of strength she had.
"Y-You... bastards... you fucking bastards. I'll find all of you and slaughter you like the animals you are, i'll drain your bodies of blood and crush your skulls."
She bolted relentlessly through the trees in the direction of the blood. Her arm deformed into a dark red cluster of blood like tendrils that soon reformed resembling the wings of a bat. When she was in the clear of obstacles the wings spanned out, the ground quaked as she blasted into the air like a Valkyrie. Going so fast she was almost blinded by her speed, she had to rely on sound to guide her. In flight a vampire can detect its surroundings through spreading there tactile(touch sense) into the air around them, acting like a sonar. But this ability is granted only to powerful vampires, as their bodies can sustain a larger omnipresence without going into shock.
As Seras approached the camp she aimed for the closest wall, intending to smash through to make an entrance for herself. At lightning speed she punched the wall with incredible strength, creating a gaping hole and a crater at her feet. Her eyes a blazing red, a fire fuelled with anger and hatred, and also possessing a lustful vengeance, but not on behalf of the victims. Someone much more sincere to her heart.
After minutes of trying to find the door to the bunker but aimlessly walking through a blank tunnel she finally came across the managers office, up until now the building seemed to be deserted but for some reason the place still had power. But if it was still being powered then where were the staff, and the residents? Looking through the window she noticed a terminal, which could probably tell her what was hidden here. That wasn't the only thing in there, it came apparent what had happened to the staff atleast. The mangled carcass of what she presumed to be the manager, but only by the name tag as the body couldn't even pass for human at that point. She forced her way through the door and sat by the desk, then began searching through the files on the database. Having plans for the Nazi's discovered secret projects, the panzer, the whirlwind cannon, the storm rifle. But at the bottom of the list it read "Projektblutrausch" meaning "project bloodrage".
"This must be what I'm looking for, it's location is based underneath the building."
Scrolling down gave the image of a map showing the whereabouts of the bunker, and the pass-code for the keypad next to it. After she memorized the route and code she dashed through the endless corridors at rapid speed, running so fast it was as if her feet never touched the floor. Coming to a stop as she saw the bunkers metal seal at the end of the corridor, slowly walking the rest of the way passing the empty rooms where the victims use to stay. Not realizing it at first but she noticed that there was a considerable amount of blood smeared across the walls, the rooms she passed gave the sounds of a swarm of flies enjoying their meals but still carried on, no more distractions. But as she passed one room, one room in particular, she could feel an intense presence festering, isolated within its walls. The scent of whatever it was had an enticing smell that she couldn't let by, bringing out her lewd vampiric desire for blood . Ever so slightly she opened the door and peered through the gap, her eyes widening in fear, the burning red fading to an icy blue. Through the gap she could see a little girl crying to herself on a bed, blood trailing from her lips. Her skin was a smooth and very pale white, her hair was a hazel brown and her eyes a nurturing amber.
Seras burst through the door. "What are you doing here?!"
The little girl looked up to her, still crying. She stood up from the bed, ran over to Seras and buried her face into Seras' thigh. Struggling to answer the question.
"M-My brother, he killed Mommy. He bit her neck and killed her. Then he ran away, wanting to bite more people and go see Daddy someday."
Seras got on her knees and hugged the girl, trying to comfort her. "Don't worry, I'll take care of your brother so you don't need to be afraid anymore."
Seras felt a sharp grip on her throat that began to crush her neck, the girl's hand was strangling her, tightening little by little until her neck was close to snapping. "I'm not afraid of him, I told him to kill Mommy. I was crying because they found him, then stuck needles in him and cut him up... so I told him to kill them too... its not me who should be afraid, its you..."
The grip on Seras was too much to handle, her eye sight was fading away the closer she got to death. As she opened her eyes she found herself lay on the floor, the girl had disappeared leaving no trace of existence apart from the mark on Seras' neck.
Seras stood up and brushed herself off. "See, this kinda shit is why I stopped goin' to church."
She set back on course for the bunker door, still having a mission to finish. Although she didn't have the strength to run anymore, the scar the girl had left made Seras feel exhausted. She slowly dragged her feet to the bunker door and entered the pass-code. As the door opened it revealed a sizeable elevator used to transport equipment, but was now layered with blood and limbs of dead security.
She finally reached the bottom floor where the target was. The doors opened to a pitch black room, lights turning on as she entered revealing a large water tank. Its contents were clouded by the liquid inside but shown the silhouette of a person, but so only faintly that you could see the masculine build of the person. Looking around Seras found yet another terminal, but more advanced than the previous one, possibly moved here not long ago. As she accessed it it gave a diagram of the process of taking samples of blood from the victim inside the tank aswell as flesh cuttings. At the top of the screen it read "Projektblutrausch" and underneath in bold letters "Patienten Q. Harker". This was not the only thing in the room, but a second tank that had been destroyed from the inside out, whatever was inside managed to escape in time to get away from the thing that killed all these people. The terminal next to it was of the same project but the name read "Patienten E. Harker", showing many files based on results in German scripture from "Elizabeth Harker, twin sibling to Quiency Harker. "
