Hello, Hello! So sorry I haven't in what seems like forever. Hopefully this chapter makes up for it! I feel as if this story is starting to get a little boring and I want to spice it up a bit but don't know how. Any suggestions? If so feel free to PM me or leave it in the review section. Chapter 14

~Saturday, July 7 *15 weeks*~

Eddie didn't get much sleep last night. After apologizing to Ryan for being distracted he finally was able to get the dance moves down. But that didn't stop other things from going wrong. Sound check went horrible. Lighting was off. Wardrobe didn't arrive on time. It felt as if everything that could go bad, did. Once the concert the was over Eddie went back to his hotel room and kept his promise to Loren and had a late night Skype call. By the time he called it a night it was three in the morning. He had to be up in four hours for an early session with Ryan. After his session Eddie headed back to his hotel room to catch up on some much needed sleep. Once in his hotel room he took a quick shower and dressed in sweats and a muscle shirt. He tried to stay awake long enough for Loren to call and tell him how the doctor's appointment. But as soon as his head hit the pillow sleep over came him.

Nora:(wiping tears away) That was just precious!

Loren sat up on the table smoothing out her shirt.

Nora: Little arms, little legs and feet, his little face! Oh, and the heartbeat!

Loren couldn't help but smile at her moms enthusiasm.

Nora: Thank you for letting me tag along with you sweetheart!

Loren:(smiling) I'm just happy I didn't have to do this alone. I'm glad your here.

knock. Knock. Knock.

Dr. Greene: Hi, Here are your pictures and DVD.

Loren: Thank you! Thank you for everything!

Dr. Greene: Its my pleasure! Your next appointment will be some time during your eighteenth week. Are you planning on finding out the gender of the baby?

Loren: Um, I don't know. Eddie and I haven't really discussed finding out the gender.

Dr. Greene: Ok, well that's something you two might want to discuss. Your next appointment we should be able to tell whether it's a boy or a girl.

Loren: Ok thank you!

With that Loren and Nora left the doctor's office and had a late lunch together before heading separate ways. Nora went back to MK to gush about the baby to Max. Loren on the other hand went to airport and got on the Duran private jet to finally be with her husband.

Worried. Eddie was worried. After waking up from his nap Eddie checked his phone to see if there were any calls or text messages from Loren that he might have missed. But there was none. At first he thought that was it was nothing, thinking she might have forgotten or decided to take a nap herself since she usually was tired after each appointment. After giving her about another hour to call he still didn't hear from her. He tried calling her but it would go straight to voice mail. So then he called Mel, Ian, Max, Nora, even Tyler to see if they heard from Loren. The last one that talked to Loren was Nora but last she heard Loren was going back to the Penthouse. So now Eddie was pacing the living room area in the Penthouse Suite leaving Loren messages on her phone. He was busy on the phone he didn't even notice Jake walk in.

Eddie:(On the phone) Loren please call me! You have really worried. I was supposed to hear from you hours ago. Please just call me!

Eddie hung up and turned to face Jake.

Eddie: Have you heard from Loren? Because I haven't and I'm freaking out! What if something happened to her? What if something happened to the baby? What if-

Jake:(Grabbing him the shoulders) Eduardo, relax! Stop with the 'What if' game. I'm sure Loren is just fine! She's probably at home sleeping and turned off her phone to relax. You she's been stress lately, especially since you're not around

Eddie nodded. He knew Jake was right. Loren has been stressed out lately and him not being there just added more onto her plate.

Eddie: Your right, Jake. I just worry about her. I seriously can't wait for her to get here tomorrow.

~Later That Night~

Eddie was on his way to the arena and was in a rush. He was running late. With signing last minute contracts and worrying about Loren, he lost track of time. He was supposed to be at the arena ten minutes ago. Once Eddie arrived he entered through the back entrance and was greeted by Jake. Eddie immediately held up his hand at Jake because he already knew he was going to get yelled at.

Eddie: Save it Jake. I don't need a lecture. I only have about half an hour before I need to be on stage and you I both know I need to pre-show ritual.

Jake: Eddie

Eddie: I'm serious Jake, save it.

Jake: Eddie

Eddie: Jake, please just save it. I have to go get ready, all the while I cant help but worry about my wife who I haven't heard from since last night.

Jake: Eduardo!

Eddie stopped right outside his dressing room door and turned to face Jake.

Jake: Now don't you dare open your mouth. Let me speak first.

Eddie leaned against the door and made a face that said 'here we go again'

Jake: Calm down, you have an hour and a half to get ready. Your concert doesn't start until nine.

Eddie:(confused) What? Wait I thought the concert started at eight and I have to be here by at least seven-twenty. What's going on Jake?

Jake: Well if you would let me talk in the first place without disrupting you would have already know why your here early. But nope, you wouldn't let me talk. All you could do was interrupted me every time I opened my mouth because you thought I was going to lecture you. You know, you make me sound as if I'm always lecturing you. You should really-

Eddie: Ok Jake, enough! What is this all about? What the hell are you rambling about?

Jake: Rambling? Me rambling?

Eddie: Jake!

Jake: Ok, ok! Geez relax!

Jake's phone made a little ping noise notifying him about an incoming message. Jake pulled out his phone and looked at the message.

Jake:(mumbling) Finally!

Eddie just kept staring at Jake trying to figure what was going on.

Eddie: So are you going to tell me what's going on? Or why you are acting to weird?

Jake: Just go into your dressing room and she will explain.

Eddie: Who will explain?

Jake: Just go!

Eddie eyed Jake trying to see what he was playing. Finally Eddie slowly turned around to face the door. Opening the door Eddie slowly made it way into the room. Walking in a little further he stopped when he saw who was sitting on the couch.

Person: About time! I was starting to wonder what was taking you so long.

Eddie could feel the biggest smile come upon his face. He couldn't believe who was sitting right in front of him. He watch as she stood up and walked towards him. He didn't realize or feel himself walking toward either. Meeting half way Eddie quickly wrapped him arms her, slightly lifting her off the ground.

Eddie: I missed you! I'm so glad your here Lo!

Loren: I missed you too! I'm sorry I haven't called or reply to any of your messages. I just wanted this to be a surprise.

Eddie: Honestly right now I couldn't care less. Having you here and in my arms just makes everything better.

Loren readjusted herself so her hands were on his face. She pulled him into a sweet and passionate kiss. Pulling back Eddie rested his forehead against Loren's and stared into her eyes.

Loren:(smiling) I have something to show you.

Eddie:(smiling) What?

Loren pulled away from him but grabbed his hand leading him to the couch. In front of him on the small table was his laptop.

Eddie:(confused) How did you get my laptop?

Loren: I asked Jake to bring it to me.

Eddie: Why?

Loren: So I could show you something. I accidentally left my laptop at home and need to show you something I know you will love

Eddie: How can you be so sure I will love it?

Loren looked at Eddie and smiled as she pressed play. Eddie turned his attention to the screen and couldn't help the tears that started to form.

Loren: Because it's your child.

Loren watched as Eddie got memorized by the images that were playing. She couldn't help but get memorized herself. She watched as the video showed the baby moving around and it going through all the measurements from head to toe. Finally he last minute or so of the video played the ever so strong heartbeat of their baby. Loren watched as tears slid down Eddie's face. Finally the video came to a stop and Loren reached up to wipe the tears off Eddie's face. Eddie however grabbed her hand pulled her over so that she was sitting on his lap. He wrapped his arms around her and rested his hands on top of her small bump.

Eddie: You were right I did love it. That was something Lo. Just amazing! Although I wish I could have been there in person this makes me feel as if I was.

Loren: Dr. Greene said everything is perfect. The baby is healthy and right on track. That there nothing we should worry about.

Eddie: Good. That's good to hear.

Eddie leaned down and gave her bump a few kisses, letting the last one linger. Loren smiled as Eddie did this.

Loren: Eddie I'm ready.

Eddie:(confused) Ready for what Lo?

Loren: To tell the world about baby Duran.

Eddie: You sure?

Loren: Yes, I'm sure.

Eddie: Ok. Right now? Or do you want to wait until tomorrow?

Loren: Now. Any idea how you want to do it.

Eddie: I actually do.

Eddie slid Loren off his lap and grabbed his laptop. He replaying the video until it came to a perfect view of the baby, he paused it. Eddie took a screen-shot of it and saved it. Going to his Twitter account he uploaded the picture with a caption that said:

Baby Duran on its way! 15 weeks and counting! #GoingToBeADad #BestFeelingEver

Eddie tagged Loren in it too. He also posted it on his fan page.

Eddie:(speaking to her belly) Well buddy now the world knows about you.

Well what do you think? Hopefully you like it. I know I do! It took me forever to write. I kept erasing and rewriting. Did that about six times. But finally ended up with this. And I got to say I like this version better than all the rest. Thanksgiving break is coming up! Which means I will have more time to write! Finally! Anyways hope you had a wonderful weekend!
